The Science & The Mind United

Chapter one. A New Beginning.

Booth hears a knock on his office door and Caroline enters the room holding a piece of paper written on the piece of paper says project global security task force. Booth asked Caroline what is global security task force Caroline replies its the beginning of a new type of task force to protected against global security threats and you, Aubrey & Brennan are to play a major part in. Booth yells out Aubrey get on here now Aubrey comes running in and asks what the problem is and Booth tells him about Caroline's idea of putting together a new type of crime team to protect against local and over seas threats. Caroline tells Booth and Aubrey that you need to go and see Emily Prentiss and her team of profilers at the BAU. Booth then tells Caroline how about splitting up the teams and he would run the forensic side and Emily would run the profiling side Caroline agrees and also tells Booth and Aubrey that you should put together a team. They all hear a knock at the door and in walks Karen Delfs they tell her about the new team that they are putting together and if she would like to join their team she agrees and also tells Booth and Aubrey that they should call up Derek Morgan, Kate Callahan and Ashley Seaver as they would be a great asset Booth agrees to give them a call. Booth calls Morgan first Morgan agrees to rejoin the force and also join Booth and his team Kate and Ashly also do not take much convicting to join Booths team. Morgan, Kate and Ashley also agree to go with Booth, Aubrey and Karen when you go to talk to Emily and her team about the merge. But before they do go and see the profilers Booth decide that he better call Brennan and let her know about all that is happening she is a bit shocked and surprised about the fact that she would be sometime be working with a team of profilers but Booth mangers to talk her around and convince her that she will be mostly be working with his team anyway. Brennan seems to relax after hearing that she is still going to work closely with him and his team.

Chapter Two. End Of A Era.

As the team was dealing with the fallout from Mr scratch and Reid been framed for murder Emily hears news that they BAU is going to be closed down as. All of a sudden in walks Derek Morgan, Seeley Booth, James Aubrey and Caroline Julian they all stand side by side and say that its not over yet and hand the price of paper to Emily and she reads it the other Agents all ask Emily what days it say and she tells them that there is a way for the team to stay together if they merge with Seeley Booth and his team. Morgan explains to Emily and the others that he is rejoined the force and will work on Booths team he also tells them that Kate Callahan and Ashley Seaver will be working on Booths team as well. Booth also tells them that his wife is world renowned Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan. Reid's eyes suddenly light up i have read all her books he says is it true about the serial killer the gravedigger he asks with the other Agents look all amazed they ask who was the gravedigger Booth tells them she was a serial killer that buried her victims alive he tell them all all her victims and how she even kidnaped Brennan and another member of her team Jack Hodgins and how they where able to find them in time. Caroline also adds that she even kidnaped Booth and how he was trapped on a ship that was due to be sunk and how he was saved JJ asks what happened to the gravedigger Booth tells JJ that the gravedigger was arrested and later found guilty but she was later killer outside the courthouse on her way to appeal her conviction by former sniper turned assassin Jacob Broadsky after he calls the father of two of her victims and tell him if you give he two million dollars i will kill the gravedigger. Caroline tell them how they finally got Broadsky Emily and her team all stand there in amazement Rossi is the first to speak he say i think that we all are in agreement that merging together sure is the best plan for moving forward Emily and the others all agree. Aubrey and Morgan look at each other and say well that is settled then as Booth, Aubrey, Caroline and Morgan as walking out Emily tell them she will be in touch Booth says that is all good as they all enter the lift and as the doors are closing they see Emily and her team standing there with smiles and their faces.

Chapter Three. The Bones In The New Lab.

As the team were admiring the new lab Brennan gets a call from Booth about working alongside Emily Prentiss and her team of FBI profilers both Cam and Angela ask what is going on and Brennan tells them about what is going on they all look a bit shocked and surprised Angela asks Brennan how she feels about that thought about working alongside profilers Brennan replies that she is a bit unsure how she feels about it but Booth did explain that it will only be on occasions just a that moment Zack Addy walks in after he looks at how the new lab looks he asks what are you all talking about Brennan fills him about what is happening and that he is more reinstated to work in the lab again. Cam tells Both Brennan and Zack that they better start calling the others and inform them to what is happening they both agree. After talking to Daisy, Wendell, Arastoo, Fisher, Jessica, Finn and even Clark all agree to they all agree to coming back and to the team. The next day all the forensic team assemble at the lab while that are all talking about how it is all going to work in walks Booth, Aubrey, Caroline, Morgan, Callahan, Seaver and Karen. Booth and Aubrey introduce Morgan, Caroline and Seaver to the team also Brennan show them around the lab they are all amazed at how big the lab is. Morgan tells Angela about Garcia and how that they should work really well together Caroline tell them that she will leave them to keep talking to each other and that she will see Booth and the others back at the office later. Angela has a phone confiscation with Garcia about how the best way to work together on cases. After some more hours of talking Booth and the other Agents all leave for the office while Brennan and the other stay behind at the lab. Booths team all gather at the office and all head to the meeting room to start planning things out and also with a live consultation with Emily and her team. They all agree how it is all going and will be all ready to work together when the time comes.

Chapter Four. Teams United.

While sitting at his desk Booth suddenly hears that news that there has been a explosion at the park in DC and there is a number of casualties. Booth Calls in all his team and tell them they will go join Brennan and her team at the scene. Booth also call Emily and informs her he in his team are on they way to the scene and will keep them updated on what is going on. At the scene Booth takes charge he tells his team that Callahan, Seaver and Aubrey to go and talk to witness to find out what happened while he and Morgan will stay behind and wait for Brennan and her team to arrive. While Booth and Morgan are looking more closely at the scene that booth soon realize that this might not be a accident after all but a targeted attack. Just at that moment a vehicle pull up and Brennan, Cam, Zack, Wendell and Daisy get out and head straight to where Booth and Morgan are standing also they see Callahan, Seaver and Aubrey returning they tell Booth and Morgan what witness saw they all agree that is was a bombing they all tell Brennan and the others to look out parts of the bomb. Morgan tells Booth that he can help Hodgins with identifying that type of bomb but at the lab. Booth also tells his team that its also team to call in Emily and her team as they will need all Agents for this one. Emily tells Reid JJ and Garcia will go straight to the Jeffersonian while she, Rossi, Tara Matt and Luke will and help Booth and this team at the scene. Back at the Jeffersonian Angela, Jack, Arastoo, Finn and Jessica are all waiting for the remains to be brought in just at that moment a security guard informs them that Reid, JJ and Garcia have arrived and are on their way. Once the trio enter the room Angela takes that straight to her office once they are in the office Garcia is shocked and amazed what she is looking at she tells Angela that she now wants a big computer like that in her office both Reid and JJ laugh. Angela asks Garcia if she wants the have a try and she replies really i would love to. JJ asks Angela when is the baby dues and Angela replies in the next couple of months. Angela then shows then a photo of Michael Vincent Hodgins Angela asks JJ if she has any children JJ relies yes i have two boys Henry and Michael she then pulls out her phone and shows Angela a photo of them. At at moment Hodgins comes in and asks Reid if he wants a tour around the lab and Reid with a smile replies yes a would love a tour. But at the crime scene Emily and the other Agents have just arrived they are all amazed at how things are going they all head to where Booth and the others are standing. Once they are all standing together Booth formally introduces Emily and the others to the forensic team. That's Temperance Brennan, Cam Saroyan, Zack Addy, Wendell Bray and Daisy Wick. I call them that squints as its easier for me. Booth then asks Bones how it is all going Rossi asks why did Booth call Brennan Bones Aubrey tells him that Booth has been calling Brennan Bones for years it started in a way that Booth used to annoy Brennan but in the end she kinda of got used to it. Brennan tells booth that they are at least 10 victims but they need to get the remains back to that lab as soon as possible she tells all the Agents that the Bomb parts are in those evidence bags. Cam then rings up Arastoo that let them no that the remains will be arriving soon. Booth tells Morgan to take the bomb components back to Hodgins so that they can start to identify the type of bomb used as soon as possible Morgan agrees. Booth tells Emily that the rest of the Agents will stay here until the site is all clear and then they will return to the office and give Brennan and the other squints time to do their work. Emily agree to that plan.

Chapter Five. The Bones In The End/The End.

Back at the Jeffersonian Morgan has arrived with the bomb components and he gives bomb components to Hodgins who has just finished showing Reid around. Hodgins tells Morgan to follow me and we will get to work right way. Angela, Garcia and JJ get to work looking at CTV footage to try and find some answers. Also at that moment Reid sees Brennan, Cam, Zack, Wendell and Daisy arriving with the remains. Reid goes up to Brennan and pulls one of her books out of his bag and tells her that he is a big fan of her books she looks a bit surprised and after a couple of minutes she asks him if he would like to watch but tells him not to touch anything. He agrees to try and not touch anything. While he is standing there watching them all at work he happens to notice something shinny on one of the remains he tells Zack that he might have found something important. Zack comes over and takes a look and he realizes that is a hip replacement joint. Zack them tells Dr Brennan that Reid has found something important she tells Reid to write the serial number down and give it to Angela as she will be able to use it to identify the victim. Reid runs down and gives Angela the serial number She starts to do a search to try and identify it. She is able to identify the remains as the victims name is Mr James Macgregor they all realize that he was also a former soldier he served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Both Angela and Garcia say that we better tell Booth and the others. Booth and the others are all sitting down at the table when Booths phones rings its Angela she tells him that they have identified one of the victims and he is a former soldier. She tells him that they are sending through the details right now. Just at that moment Booth gets a text from Hodgins he tells Booth to turn on the web cam as he and Morgan have identified the type of bomb that was used. Booth turns on the web cam and Both Hodgins and Morgan tell booth and the other Agents that the type of bomb used is cellphone activated and it is also is built with really high tech components that were last used jurying a terror attack in Afghanistan in 2005. Just at that moment Brennan comes running to where Hodgins and Morgan are she has found something vital about the case. She tells Booth and the others that the former solider was murdered first and them the bomb was placed inside of this body. All the Agents turn to each other as the all realize that this is turning into something even worse than they first thought. Brennan goes to check on how Angela and Garcia are going. They are waiting for the angelatron to finish doing facial recognition on the other remains. Just at that moment Garcia tells Angela that it has finished Angela then brings up the faces that the angelaton has come up with they the names of the victims are Mr Frank Gibson, Mr Thomas Moore, Matthew Scott, Mr Mandy Brewster, David Collins the are all Former soldiers that serviced in the same unit as. Mr James Macgregor. Angela then sends through all the information to Booth and the others. Back to Booth and the other Agents Emily and Booth agreed that they need bring up everything about that Unit and find out more information about that operations that they did. Booth also rings up Morgan and tells that he, Reid and JJ to stay at the Jeffersonian Morgan agrees with Booth. Booth and all the other Agents start to go through all the files that they have about Thomas Moore and his unit as they Agents are going through all the files they come across something that shocks them. A operation that Moore and his team where involved in they were sent in to rescue civilians that where been help hostage by Taliban forces and that they had killed the leader of the Taliban team and now that some the members of the Taliban leaders team survived and now they are out for revenge for them killing their leader all those years ago. But Emily also realizes that its more then just pay but the bombing also means something more sinister. All the Agents realize that the bombing at the park was only just the start they are going to target other locations and next time more people will be killed but they are still not sure where or when they will target next. While going through the information that Angela had sent through the Agents notice a couple of locations that look like they could be of interest both are abandoned warehouses in Washington DC. Booth tells Emily that he will take Aubrey, Callahan, Seaver and Morgan to check out one location while she takes Rossi, Lewis, Luke and Matt to check out the second location she agrees with that plan. Booth rings Morgan and tells him to meet them at this location as the Agents leave the building and enter the SUVS that are parked outside Booth and his team enter the closets SUV while Emily and her team enter the other SUV. Both vehicles stop at the traffic lights once that lights turn green booths turns right and Emily turns left as both vehicles are racing down the deferent roads to their locations Booth and his team arrive at their location first as it was the closet location just as they pull up outside the building Morgan also arrives in his vehicle. All the Agents get out and stand side by side Booth tells Morgan, Callahan and Seaver to go around to the back door while he and Aubrey will take the front door as Morgan, Callahan and Seaver reach the back door they hear voices coming from inside the building Booth tells him on the count of three they will all say FBI and knock both doors down at the same time. 1 2 3 FBI Morgan kicks his door down first just at that moment Morgan sees one guy standing right in the middle to the room holding a gun he says put that gun down or i will fire the guy gets ready to shoot just as Morgan hits him in the stomach but the guy is still able to grab his gun as but as he is picking up his gun Booth kicks his door down and shoots him in the chest killing him. As Callahan and Seaver appear behind Morgan two more people enter the room they are also about to fire their weapons Callahan fires her weapon hitting one of them in the shoulder and before the other guy has a chance to reached Seaver shoots him in the leg. Just as Callahan and Seaver handcuffing them a 4th person enters the room behind where Aubrey is standing but Aubrey is to fast for him and he shoots him dead the Agents then hear noises coming from upstairs Booth and Morgan decide to go and check it out as Both Agents reach the top of the stairs they hear two people talking on the other side of the door Both Agents kick the door down at the same time as they do so the two guys on the other side start firming but Booth Agents are ready as both Agents fire their weapons both guys fall backwards through a glass window and land right where the other Agents are standing. Booth and Morgan start looking around the room they are standing in for information Morgan picks up a peace of paper he shows it to Booth both realize that Emily and her team are walking into a trap. Booth run down the stairs to Aubrey asks what is that matter Booth tells them he then calls Emily on the radio but its to late as they are already entering inside of the building. As Booth is pretty much yelling into the radio telling Emily and her team to get out of there and wait for back up they can hear the sound of gun fire coming through the radio Emily tells Booth its to late they are all trapped and cant get out. Just at that moment the radio goes dead. As Booth and they others are running outside of the building other law enforcement officers arrive Booth tells them to take two surviving suspects into custody the Agents pretty much jump into the vehicles Morgan rings JJ say answers her phone how is it all going she asks he tells her what is happening she is shocked and worried Reid asks her what is the matter. Booth Agents run for the door JJ tells Gracie to stay here with Angela as she will be safe here As JJ and Reid reach the door Brennan runs up to them with a worried look on her face has something happened to Booth say asks Reid fills her in on what happened and how Booth and the others are racing to get there. Brennan tells them that she is coming with them as well and don't try and stop me she says he replies i wouldn't even try. They all get into Brennen's car they arrive just as Booth and they others pull up Booth looks a bit shocked that Brennan is also there but at the same time realize that there was no way they could have stopped her from coming. Booth organizes the Agents into two teams he, Brennan, Aubrey and Seaver will take the higher levels while Morgan, JJ, Reid and Callahan will take the ground floor of the building. Booth goes to the back of the SUV and opens the back door and gets his rifle out there is also second rifle that he gives to Morgan at the same time JJ, Reid and Brennan are putting in there bulletproof vests. As they all are getting closer to the building they notice where Emily has parked the other SUV they open up the back of the vehicle JJ enters the pin number that opens the safe in where the guns and ammo is kept it still has some guns and ammo inside. They grab that guns and the ammo close the back of the SUV and continue towards the building once they reach the building they stop and listing for any noises coming from inside they wait for about one minute and they can not hear any sounds they are close the the door so they open the door slowly once they are inside of the building Booth, Brennan, Seaver and Aubrey see some stairs on the left that leads to a lookout point. Morgan, JJ, Callahan and Reid take a right that leads to behind some wooden crates that they can use as cover. Booth quietly tells Morgan once they are in a safe area to stay there and wait for his signal Booth and Aubrey lead the way as they slowly go up the stairs once they reach the top of the stairs they come to a closed door and it is not lock so they slowly open the door as they enter the room they check to see if it its all clear it is all clear so they tell Brennan and Seaver that it is safe to come up. Once Brennan and Seaver join Booth and Aubrey Booth tells Aubrey to close the door and he and Seaver to stand guard at the door while he and Brennan will try and see where Emily and her team are. Booth uses his rifle to see where the Agents are been held he spots them they are been held at the far side of the building. He notices that all the Agents have been forced to kneel on the ground and the Emily and Rossi have a gun pointed at their heads he tells Morgan and the others to move slowly up from their location. As Booth gets ready to take out the guy that has his gun pointed at Emily Morgan tells Booth that he is ready to take out the other guy that has his gun pointed at Rossi. All of a sudden there is two load shots echoing around the building the guys that where pointing there guns at Emily and Rossi drop to the ground Booth and Morgan have taken them out. Booth gives the order for all Agents to move in JJ, Reid and Callahan move in with there weapons at the ready Morgan comes in soon after with his gun at the ready he also hands one of the guns that they at pick up from the SUV. Also Booth, Aubrey, Brennan and Seaver are also closing in from the other side of the building they also give Matt, Luke and Tara weapons. The surviving terrorists realizes that they are out numbered as there are 12 armed FBI Agents in the building now. But the Terrorists are not going to go quilting they would rather die and be put in prison they are start shooting at the Agents but all 10 of the Agents are ready and they all start firing back within seconds all the terrorists have been shoot. Both Booth and Emily give the order for the Agents to stand down all the Agents put their weapons away Emily goes up to Booth and thanks him for saving her life he them turns to Brennan and also thanks her and her team for there great effect for identifying the remains. Morgan rings up Garcia and tells her everyone is all safe and they are are on there way back. Both Garcia and Angela look at each other with smiles on their faces as the they realize that its all over and everyone is now safe. Angela then asks Garcia how she would feel about helping out here for a two or three months while she takes time off to be ready for baby Garcia looks both shocked and happy at the same time she replies are you really sure as i would love to. Just at that moment Booth, Brennan and all the Agents walk into the lab Emily, Rossi, Luke, Matt and Tara all look around at out big the lab is Emily says you sure have a great lab her Brennan i have not seen a lab as big as this one before it sure is amazing. Booth, Aubrey, Morgan, JJ, Reid, Seaver, Callahan and Garcia all laugh. Rossi tells everything that you are all invited to his place for dinner tomorrow night Even us relies Zack yep relies Rossi. Rossi tells everyone to come around 6 tomorrow night Booth relies see you tomorrow night as he and Aubrey leave to lab to head back to the office to fill in some paper work and also tell Caroline and Karen that they are invited to Rossi's place tomorrow night. Back at the office Caroline and Karen are waiting in Booths office as Booth and Aubrey walk in Caroline walks over to Booth and puts her arms around him and says how grateful she is that he is okay and how worried she was about him again. Aubrey tells Caroline and Karen that they are invited to Rossi's place tomorrow night at 6 pm even Dr Brenan is going says Aubrey. Booth tells Aubrey that they paper would can wait until tomorrow and that they all should go home as they have earned it after the last couple of days that they have had. At Rossi's place everyone arrives and sits down to have dinner in the garden Rossi stands up to thank everyone for coming and to thank both Booth and Brennan for all their help. Rossi asks everyone to stand and raise their glasses. here's to a begging Rossi says and to a great new group of friends that we have made now we all can eat our food he says.
