The Hyper Angel: Thank you for the advise. I'll get to work on those changes. As well, I didn't realized that what you mention, about adding more to a combiner was that common. I hope I will do better and is Travis really Outkast? Who knows?
Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers, Hasbro does. I only own Outkast.
Chapter 2: Medical Visit
As he walked down the hallway of the Decepticons' underwater base, Outkast just couldn't help but feel like he was being watched. Looking around, he could only see a random Con going by him and acting like he wasn't there. That was pretty common anyway. It seem that no one but High Command and the other Stunticons ever pay any attention to him.
Sighing to himself, Outkast just stared at the ceiling. He didn't understand why he felt like his namesake. He wanted to fit in, really he did. There was nothing like the empty feeling of being lonely with no one to talk to about anything. The only guy that he actually saw as a friend was Dead End. He chuckle at the thought of that. The most depressing Stunticon, yet the most vain of them all as a friend. There was something funny about that.
Coming to Soundwave's workshop, Outkast was just a little nervous about this whole 'check-up' thing. What if there was something wrong with him this time, really wrong. That it was something so wrong that they wouldn't not be able to fix it this time and that they would have to make him go off-line. He didn't want to go out just yet; he wasn't even on line for a year yet. Shaking his head a bit, Outkast raised his hand and knock on the door. It hissed up and Outkast took a few steps inside.
"Um…anyone home?" called out Outkast into the darkness of the room.
The screens for all the computers were on and glowing a light white glow and humming. Someone was here; Outkast could feel someone's optics on him. Taking a few carefully steps inside; he was starting to think that this was a bad idea. Why didn't he just complain to Motormaster that he was ok and get back to training. They need to work on combining anyway. He was hardly getting a hand of it, but when they did get is right, Menasor seem much more stronger and in control.
"Ok, I'll be going now," mumbled Outkast, as he turned around, all most crashing into Soundwave, "Ack Wow, don't sneak up a Con like that,"
Soundwave just ignored him. Staring at the Stunticon, it seem that he was waiting for something. Coughing a bit, Outkast was trying to ease the tensions he was feeling in his systems as this moment. What was with this guy anyway? That when Soundwave finally spoke,
"What brings you here?" he asked.
"Motormasters said I needed to be look at," replied Outkast.
"Systems not functioning during the recharging mode," asked Soundwave, but when he talked, it sounded more like a statement.
"Yes…I keep having those things what the fleshbags call dreams," answer Outkast, "I wanted to know if you would be able t-"
"Laid down," order Soundwave as he pointed towards a large table.
Nodding his head, Outkast just strolled over and laid himself on the table. It seem that he was always here. This was his fifth trip here over the past three months since his activation and it was all over his dreams. Something told him just to forget about them, but a little part of his mind told him to not, not to forget. This whole thing just hurt his head.
Now that he was on the table, Soundwave came over with a large looking helmet. This was the part that he hated the most about this whole thing. That helmet was supposed to help stop the dreams from taking place, but all it did was post-pose them. Just for a couple weeks of a peaceful recharge before they come melting back.
Feeling the helmet being place on his head, Outkast gulped back some energon that had came into his mouth. Soundwave steps could be heard going towards the consol and the sounds of computers whizzing and humming to life as Soundwave brought up the program. Then came the severe pain. It was like a thousand needles were jagged into every one of his circuits and firing all at once. Letting out a gasp, Outkast fell into stasis lock.
Walking over, Soundwave check the Stunticon over. Yes, he was out. Seeing that was done, he started up the special program for Outkast's case. This would able to keep those dreams away. A whirling sound came from the computer and little stream of lights came to life on keyboard and a clicking one joined humming and whirling sounds. Yes, it was working all right.
Once more the door hissed open behind Soundwave as he observe the process. He didn't need to turn around to see who it was. It was easy to tell by the sound of footsteps entering the room. There was only one being that he knew that could make those steps.
"I see Project Upgrade has acted up again," growled Megatron as he came up and looked over Outkast's prone form.
"Yes, it is having those dreams again," commented Soundwave.
"I should just scrap the entire project, too much troubles "growled Megatron as his optics flashed in his irritation," But it does have it good qualities…statues on the results of the project,"
Soundwave nodded his head as he brought up a large screen on the computer. On top of it label Project Upgrade, under it with lines and lines of numbers and letters that could only to understood by him.
"Menasor is running at 127.3675 percent since the third trail, 40.3874 more control since adding Project Upgrade, 59.3852 more power and 39.4548 gain in intelligence," stated Soundwave as he went over the numbers.
Megatron chuckle as he heard the states Yes, they were excellent, better then he had estimate they would be. Menasor was becoming one of the most powerful gestalts they had now. The real test would be soon and then they would destroy Optimus and his puny Autobots and take their place as rulers of the universe.
After a moment, Outkast's optics flipped back on-line. Moaning a bit, he rubbed his head a bit and removed the helmet. Getting his ground back, he saw that Megatron was now in the room and he and Soundwave were going over something called Project Upgrade. What was that about? Before he could ask them, they quickly noticed that he was out and Soundwave flipped the screen off.
"I see that you have awoken," answer Megatron as he placed the neutral look on his faceplate.
"Yes, sir," said Outkast as he quickly salute his leader and stood back on his feet.
"Good, report to Motormaster at once. I have a mission for you all. Briefing in twelve mega-cycles,"
"Right away," said Outkast as he head out the door and towards where the other Stunticons were training at that moment.
The Autobots end would be near soon, Megatron chuckle at the irony that their down fall would because of their own invention.
