Chapter 9: Principle of Domination

"Wait you're saying after having to kill his whole family and clan, being used as the village's scapegoat and joining a mercenary organization for said village.. He chose to die for his brother?" Draig asked, having spent the day talking with Kalawarner, who was currently drinking some wine Draig appropriated from a few Royal families, sipping it out of the also appropriated Holy Grail cup.

"Yeah I told ya, he did that all for his brother. Civil war would ruin their village and his brother wouldn't have a very long life. Or.. he might be used as a breeding stock for his eyes. You know? The ones I showed you?" Kalawarner folded her leg over the other and answered.

"This is why I live alone in a cave. You humans overcomplicate things with your politics and wars with each other"

"Yeah, you live a wise life by avoiding that bullshit. Still though, makes for a good story in my opinion"

"Those all being stories in your world... That one where humans made giant machines that eventually grew and combined to a size larger than galaxies…"

"They fuckin' threw galaxies too"

"That's aburd…! Tell me more"

-[Draig's cave, second day]-

Kalawarner was training in the hills of gold and treasure, swinging her sword, spear and using her magic to mold familiar weapons. She tried to mold an M14 assault rifle but it was useless. She'd need to wait a few hundred years before guns were made. Currently she was talking with the Red Dragon once again while he occasionally gave her pointers in her training.

"So I promised Tiamat that I'd give her children after the fight.."

"So you blue-balled yourself, basically. Why didn't you go back and bust a nut in her like you agreed? She's a pretty dragon and you get along, right?"

"Yes, we do indeed get along well. Very attractive as well, yes. But I hold no deep affections for her so it would feel as if I betrayed myself. Oh and move your legs a bit farther apart when you swing. Turn your body thirty-five degrees when you follow up on your next swing"

"Mn. Well that's surprisingly human of you Draig? Actually that may be presumptuous. After all anyone can find and crave love, why not dragons too?"

"Yes.. not many think us as capable of feeling that way. When we Dragons find one we love, we will not stop pursuing them. We're quite loyal too, despite some being in polygamous relationships"

"Well I hope you find that special someone, big D"

"Big-Hahahaha! That slang you taught me about yesterday.. Well you're accurate, Little K. Want to see it?"

"Do I wanna see a Dragon's giant dick..? No, I'm good.. Thanks.."

-[Draig's cave, third day]-

'You say you feel possessive of her? As in a trophy wife?" Draig asked, watching as Kalawarner looked at a Holy sword stuck in the mound of treasure.

"No.. she's a person. It's like… if you've ever seen a friend die in a conflict.. and you have one friend left, who's going into that same conflict.. You'd feel the need to take them away and protect them, right? It's how I feel"

"You are scared of losing something dear to you once again. I can relate. But if you treat her as a possession she will leave your grasp."

"Yeah, I know.. I'll treat her right. When the war ends, I'll show her what she means to me. Thanks, big D. Didn't think I'd end up chilling and making friends with a dragon but I'm glad I did. Now.. Have I ever told you how much I hate Ophis' get-up..?" Kalawarner gained a blank look as she started talking about the Loli-Dragon of Infinity.

"She often appears as a child, if I'm not mistaken..?"

"Yeah.. for some reason! Why!? That's so fucking stupid! And she wears this kinky ass dress and covers her nipples with DUCT TAPE? Are you fucking me? If I meet her, I'm gonna set her loli ass straight.."

Draig hummed thoughtfully at her ranting about the Dragon of Infinity's design in choice and body.

-[Draig's cave, fourth day]-

"You want peace among the Factions?" Draig asked while overseeing Kalawarner's training.

"Yeah.. I know how this war will end. Eventually things will get better but they need to see, even temporarily that they can cooperate and fight together. I just fear it'll take a foreign Pantheon to do it.. And if that does happen, we're fucked seven ways from Sunday"

"So a common enemy then?" Draig asked while rubbing his scaled chin.

"Yup.. Nothing quite unites like hate. It's a very loyal emotion.. honest too. Though if anyone were to bear the weight of that hate, I'd want it to be me. I think I see where my path is going.. I think I'm going to have to kill God for my plan of peace. Kinda fucked, right?"

"He is wiser than you give him credit for. He sent you here for a reason, little K. One I think I, too am beginning to understand. Though I suppose I'd have gotten involved in this war anyways. My upcoming conflict with the White one is soon. We will both seek the other out after a set period of time.

"Ooooh how romantic. Why can't you guys be friends like you and I are?"

"Because that son of a bitch tried to have sex with my potential mate at the time.. He knew clearly that I had started to do my courting display of killing off a human army of five hundred.. Then he goes and kills off five-hundred and ONE.." Draig huffed and continued.

"It amped up with starting fights with other Dragons and Gods to show her our superiority.. Heh.. I beat the crap of of Crom Cruach you know? Well eventually we started to fight"

"Uh.. so what about the girl you were both after?" Kalawarner asked.

"She had gotten together with an old friend of mine, Tannin. I don't know what kind of thing that Black Dragon showed her to court her.. But I respect it. But the White one and I fight to this day. Until we'll kill each other"

"So.. you're saying you and Albion were cucked by a BBC..? My condolences.." She said, confusing Draig.

-[Draig's cave, fifth day]-

"Hey Draig.. you said I'd get a favor by the end, yeah?" Kalawarner asked, looking up at her scaled friend who was clearing the cave for an entrance.

"I did. What do you need, little K? Power? Treasures?"

"No.. I wanna make a proposition. Yahweh's going to be sealing something absurdly strong soon, he'll be weakened when fighting the four Devil Kings. If you help me out, say.. I ride on top of you into battle, you could steal the Principle of Domination from him, right?" Kalawarner asked, remembering Issei's quote about Draig being the Heavenly Dragon that stole the Principle of Domination from God.

"That is an interesting idea.. I could do it too, given how weak you said he would be and likely distracted too. Though you should know that the White one will find me during the battle. It will devolve into killing the forces below us who get caught in our fight. It will likely turn the Factions against us.. Heheh, *nothing quite unites like hate* as you said. I agree. Come now, I feel the energy from here. We ride into battle, little K. You may want to take a bit of my power too, lest you be killed by a stray shot by a higher-powered warrior. Hop on and I'll transfer you a bit of my power." Draig spread his huge red wings and walked out of the hole, followed by Kalawarner, who had jumped onto his back.

As soon as Kalawarner had hopped on Draig, she felt an ocean of power wash over her. Red was all she could see in those moments as it wrapped around her much like a blanket. It was a comforting yet invigorating kind of feeling as it conformed to her body and curves. As it did so, Draig had gone uncharacteristically quiet and somehow his red face had become even redder, as he felt his power tightly hug the Fallen's body.

"Ah.. now that's refreshing.. Thanks, big D. You'll still be my friend even if you piss the whole Faction off. Remember that, alright?" Kalawarner said as Draig's power solidified over her, covering her in the Sekiryuutei armor as she grabbed on to Draig, who started to fly off with a tooth-filled smile on his face.

"Thank you. Ah, after the war would you like to be my new mate? I enjoy your company far more than that Dragon's. It doesn't hurt that your body is *thicc* as you told me a few hours into our first meeting" Draig said while they took to the skies, Draig slipping through a tear in space, headed for the Underworld.

"Woaaah… maybe if you were a woman, big D. I'm still a man on the inside you know!? My preference for women won't just magically change, even in a different body like in those *works of literature* I told you about. I know I may never get a Harem.. but fuck NO will I end up in some guy's harem! DAGA.. KOTOWARU.." She said, briefly making a pose of refusal.

"Tch… I won't quit.. I'll find a way" Draig muttered lowly as they rocketed towards the final battle of the war.

-[Enoch's Lament, Faction battleground]-

Raynare was part of the massive reserve forces of Fallen back in the Grigori base. It had gotten bad. God and his Archangels had all shown up for a fight. All in attendance were Yahweh himself, though looking tired for some reason. Perhaps the war weighed heavily on him? Beside him there was Michael, Gabriel and Uriel. On the Devil's side were the Devil Kings. Satan's Lucifer, Beelzebub, Leviathan and Asmodeus. The last Demons from the Ars Goetia had all come her for the decisive battle to determine the fate of their descendants. On the Fallen's side was Azazel, Penemue, Baraqiel, Shemhazai and Kokabiel. Though they lacked in sheer power, Azazel had provided the other three with one time use Sacred Gears.

Raynare was still worried. Kalawarner had disappeared five days ago yet Azazel seemed to know something. What exactly he knew, he couldn't or most likely wouldn't tell her. It frustrated her to no end that her new lover was gone somewhere, and she had no idea if she was safe or when she would return to her. At this point she worried *if* her lover would return at all. She couldn't help but feel insecure as she had only one thing truly preciously to her currently. If she lost that, she wouldn't know what to do with herself anymore. Suppressing the tears that would come out if she continued the negative thoughts, she looked to the battlefield, which soon turned barren at the sheer amount of power thrown around. Azazel was fighting Michael. Penemue fighting Leviathan. Baraqiel, Uriel, Kokabiel fighting against Lucifer. It was pandemonium and the Fallen were losing. The lower class Fallen started to feel a certain dread when thinking what will happen if they lost to either of the other two factions.

A roar shook the battleground, a giant red Dragon coming out of a tear in the sky unexpectedly. Lucifer was the first one to be hit when a laser of pure energy coming from the Dragon's maw. The Dragon rammed straight through Baraqiel, Kokabiel and Uriel on a direct path to Yahweh, who was standing mid air while a holy cross construct behind him appeared, doves flying all around him, preparing to fight the Welsh Dragon. While this was happening, many eyes were drawn to the womanly silhouette standing atop Draig wielding a Golden Holy Light spear who had taken a Javelin stance and whipped her spear, enforced by Draig's borrowed strength, right at Leviathan. Leviathan, who hadn't expected the sudden attack as he was beating down Penemue, took the spear, that had come at him with the speed of a high caliber sniper rifle and the force of a freight train, straight to his stomach and had promptly sent him flying into the Devil army before the spear exploded in Holy light, blasting many of the lower classed Devils away from the impact. Saving Penemue, she twisted her body to avoid the lethal blow of an enraged Asmodeus, who was using a threaded great sword. Turning around, she uppercutted him with the speed and force currently impossible to her without Draig's borrowed power in the form of scale-mail.

Driving Asmodeus back a bit, Draig discovered the Devil King that was too close and promptly bit his body in half and let loose the most devastating wave of flame anyone had ever witnessed. Upon seeing the Dragon and woman easily handle the top powers of their Factions, the Devils, Angels and Fallen agreed to focus their attacks on Draig. That is, until another roar had shook the battleground, to the shock of almost everyone present.

"Tch.. Figured we'd have more time. Draig, make sure to steal that power from God. I'll keep them off your ass as long as I can"

"Got it Partner. I'll let you know when he's weakened enough. Fighting him and the White bastard will take everything I got so I won't be able to cover you. Be careful, future Mate" Draig said as Kalawarner jumped off and deployed the Dragon wings instead of her normal ones so she wouldn't give away her identity.

"Hah.. As if, pervy lizard" Kalawarner said as she blocked off Michael from assisting his Father, eliciting a calm but angry expression from the Arch-Angel.

"Getting mad? You know you'll Fall if you succumb to that Anger, Pretty-boy" Kalawarner said as she materialized the Gae Bolg imitation from Draig's energy, taking a stance Draig drilled into her in the last five days.

"I think anyone would be angry if their Father was in danger.. Please step aside, I cannot afford to hold back here" Michael said while spreading his twelve wings, taking out a Golden sword that seemed eerily familiar to Kalawarner.

"Hm.. figured you'd spew some *my anger is righteous anger* bull. Good to know there are some decent, free thinking Angels. No can do on that. This has to happen"

"Then I will force you to move" He said, blitzing Kalawarner with high speed and swinging the sword that radiated destructive power, which Kalawarner had to dodge.

Trying to look for an opening Kalawarner leapt back and activated her singular tomoe Sharingan, reading his movements slightly better and responding to them via ducking and clashing weapons. Kalawarner smashed the sword aside and went for a right hook, but was blocked and slashed across the face of the scale mail by the sword she realized was invisible, cracking open the helmet just a bit where her left eye was located. It was then she realized what sword that was. Excalibur, which in this universe had multiple abilities that would be split up in the future into different swords.

Realizing this, Kalawarner dodged the sword that had turned into a chained blade swung at her head through Excalibur's *Mimic* ability. Taking out the single use Sacred Gear copy of Sword Birth Azazel gave her, she visualized a sword and pumped half of Draig's power into it. The sword that appeared had a curved guard on one side and had an ominous, Demonic red glow, confusing many spectators that thought the attacker in Scale Mail was a Fallen. Summoning her version of Gram she took the appearance from Fate and made the sword purely for releasing built up Demonic energy accumulated from clashing with Holy Blades.

Clashing with the more wary Michael, he used the *rapidly* power from Excalibur and slashed Kalawarner's armor repeatedly while clashing their blades as they remained in the sky. Her armor taking significant damage, Gram built up more and more Demonic energy that soon eclipsed Excalibur's. Michael attempted to use the *Nightmare* ability on Kalawarner but she soon disappeared right before his eyes. Behind him, he quickly turned around and saw her in an Iai stance, suddenly unleashing a devastating red glow of Demonic power that shot Michael out of the sky and shattered the Excalibur into seven pieces, shaking the sky of the Underworld, much to the spectator's surprise. Wounding him yet not critically, the remaining forces of Baraqiel and Kokabiel kept him busy from advancing back towards Yahweh.

Kalawarner saw that Albion and Draig had begun a fight so calamitous that many of the surrounding areas were glassed. Yahweh was containing their power from spreading out and killing many of the forces in the surrounding areas. While he was busy with that, Draig had managed to drive his fist into Albion's face to drive him away and flew straight at the inattentive Yahweh, Crashed into him, God attempted to use his power of Domination to get the Dragon off of him but time had halted very briefly as Draig bit down on his shoulder and drank in Yahweh's essence, eliciting a deep grunt of pain. Albion growled in anger as Draig's power grew, clashing with him once again. The shockwave blew thousands of Devils, Angels and Fallen back despite being miles away. Kalawarner struggled to stay flying but watched the Legendary battle. Yahweh decided that was enough, holding his palms close together and releasing a world-shaking power as light bathed the Underworld. The Dragons were both hit first, losing sight as their bodies fell into a newly made crater full of glass. Both of their souls floating above Yahweh's palms, quickly turning into new Longinus Sacred Gears. Yahweh then collapsed to his knees, dismissing both gears out into the world. It was right after that he saw the figure in armor mere feet from him. The Sword Birth now disappearing, deciding to summon her Gae-Bolg spear to finish the job.

"Will you hear a sorrowful man's last words before you end the war..?"
