Chapter 3
Storm was mopping the bar a few days later when her cell started ringing. She sat the mop aside and stepped to the bar to answer it. A warm smile spread across her face when she saw the call was from Dean.
"Hello, my sexy stallion," Storm preened when she answered the call. "I dreamed of you last night and we were naked and your mouth…"
"Ummm…Stormy, I'd love to hear it, but so you know, you're on speaker and Sammy's sitting here turning all shades of red."
"Crap! Sorry Sam, how is the hunt going?" Storm giggled hearing Sam sputter in the background.
"Finished. Turns out it was the good doctor at the hospital that was the shtriga," Dean told her.
"You're kidding me! I can't believe it."
"I found a picture of him back in 1893. There's no mistake," Sam added.
"If I hadn't been in the middle of the pediatric ward talking to him, I'd filled him full of lead just on principle alone," Dean fussed in disgust.
"How did you kill him?" Storm questioned.
"We had to use a kid, one of the victim's brothers, as bait to lure it out…."
"No! You didn't! Is he okay?"
"Yes, and if we had had any other choice, we would have used it, but you can only kill the witch when it's feeding," Sam informed her.
"We kept him as safe as we could, and thought we had the bastard, but he tricked us," Dean continued. "He knocked me to the side and went after Sammy, again. Maybe he wanted to finish what he started all those years ago."
"But Dean was able to shoot him as he started feeding on me. He unloaded his clip into the body, and it shriveled up and disappeared."
"And the children that were sick? Are they okay?"
"Yes, they're going to make a full recovery. Once the shtriga was dead, it seems their life forces found their way back to the owners. We got lucky, but at least there won't be any more kids dying at his hands. My unfinished business is done."
"I'm glad it worked out for everyone and happy no one was hurt; you weren't hurt, were you?"
"Naw, a few scraps, and bruises, just minor stuff. We're done here and are heading your way before we look for another hunt. We should be there by Saturday evening."
"That's what I like to hear. I've just been to the store and stocked the cabinets and fridge, so we won't have to go out."
"I like the sound of that," Dean smirked. "It'll gives us more time in the bedroom. I found some new positions we…"
"And that's my cue to leave; I'm going to the car," Sam's voice chimed in as he got up to head outside.
"You're so mean," Storm laughed. "I think you scared him off."
"He'll get over it. I can't wait to get you alone and ravish that sexy body of yours."
"I'm holding you to that. Guess I should go and finish cleaning the bar for opening tonight," Storm sighed.
"Alright Stormy, I'll see you very soon. I love you."
"I love you too Babe. Drive safe."
"Always, Bye."
Storm heard the click of the call disconnecting and smiled to herself before going back to mopping. She was excited about seeing Dean tomorrow and felt a heat building in her very core as she imagined the gentle touch of his lips as he kissed her. She shook herself and dispelled the thoughts for now. There would be plenty of time to quench her thirst for Dean once he got here. She began to hum to herself as she finished the mopping and went to dump the dirty water and rinse the mop and bucket out.
Her next job was to get the bookkeeping caught up and bills paid for the month. It was easy for her since she loved numbers and it seemed to come natural to her. Storm balanced the books and wrote the checks, entering everything into an accounting program she used for the bar. She stamped and affixed address labels to the envelopes before getting up to take them to the mailbox.
After being sure the floor was dry, Storm unlocked the front door to go to the mailbox and leave the bills for pickup. She stopped at the steps and turned her head up to the sky to feel the sun's warming rays on her skin. There was a slight chill in the air with fall fast approaching. She loved this time of year as the hot summer gave way to the chillier days of fall.
Storm wrapped her arms around her body and walked up the steps to the front door to let herself back in, locking it behind her. She headed upstairs to her apartment to get something to eat before showering so she would be ready to open the bar. There was a bounce in her steps because she knew her lover, fiancé, best friend, and soul mate would be here soon.

The bar seemed more crowded than usual on a Saturday night as Storm hustled from one end of the bar to the other serving customers and watching the door for her guys. She had gotten a text from Sam that they were an hour out and would be there shortly and that was forty-five minutes ago.
Storm was turned away from the bar mixing a rum and coke when arms snaked around her waist causing her to take the defensive and elbowed the body behind her hearing a whoosh of air and grunt of pain as she raised her fist to punch someone.
"Damn Stormy," Dean complained as he rubbed his stomach and stepped back. "That wasn't the greeting I was expecting," he pouted.
"Dean!" Storm cried out as she threw her arms around Dean's neck and planted a passionate kiss on his lips. She blushed as the patrons clapped and cheered them on.
"Now, that's more like it," Dean mumbled pulling her body against him and kissing her back.
"Enough," she gasped and giggled. "I've got thirsty customers to serve."
"Sammy," Dean called to his brother who was standing at the end of the bar smiling at them. "Little help here," he commanded snapping his fingers.
"On it," Sam chuckled as he grabbed a bar towel and stepped behind the bar to start working.
"How about you go clear some tables lover boy?" Storm told Dean as she went back to finish the order she had been working on before Dean interrupted her.
"Okay," Dean replied grabbing a grey, plastic tub and heading into the bar to gather empties and trash.
The juke box was playing loudly, and people were dancing. Others were playing pool, and socializing, most having a nice buzz, while a few others were on the way to being drunk. Dean moved around the tables and filled the tub while trying to avoid the tipsy women who grabbed his ass or tried to give him their phone number.
"Man! The natives are restless tonight," Dean noted as he looked at the scraps of napkins with scribbled phone numbers on them.
"You are popular tonight," Storm chuckled as she pulled beers from the cooler. "But it could be that they're a little drunk."
"They're wasting their time. I have my woman and I'm not going to do anything stupid to lose her." He looked at the numbers and then at Sam. "You want dibs?" he asked his brother holding out the napkins.
"Get real," Sam scoffed, giving him a disgusting look. "I don't need your sloppy seconds."
"Whatever," Dean said. He wadded them up and tossed them into the trash before taking the tub in back to empty it and head back out into the bar. He made his rounds and fought off unwanted hands and one woman that wanted to kiss him before getting behind the bar stating he wasn't mixing with the cougars anymore making Storm and Sam both laugh.
"You need to hang around more son, you're going to bring in the women folks," Hank offered with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.
"I'll have to take out hazard pay if I do that."
"You said you were always god's gift to women," Sam snickered.
"Bitch."
"Jerk."
"I think that ship has sailed," Storm offered. "I'm pretty sure I can take any of them on and win."
"I don't doubt it," Sam laughed with her.
"Guess I better let them know to drink up and gets rides home if they need them," Storm sighed going to the bell and ringing it loudly to get everyone's attention. She announced closing time and stopped serving drinks. Patrons began to wander out and others called rides as the bar began to empty. It wasn't long before everyone was gone, and Hank and Norm bid the brothers and Storm goodnight before heading out too.
"I'll get the chairs," Dean told her.
"And I'll go grab some more beers to restock the coolers," Sam offered heading in back to the storage room.
Storm and Dean had finished with the chairs and looked to the front door when it opened, and a woman stepped into the bar looking around and smiling widely when she spotted Storm.
"There you are," she squealed happily running to Storm and hugging her.
"You finally made it!" Storm cried in delight. "I was getting worried."
"Be still my beating heart," Breeze gawked when she saw Dean standing by the bar looking at them with interest. "If I had known you had such eye candy here, I would have come by sooner. Damn that accident on the highway that delayed me." Breeze stepped to Dean to give him a leering once over before Storm spoke.
"Cool your raging hormones Bree, he's spoken for. Dean, this is my dearest friend and adopted sister, Breeze. We grew up together and both our Dads were in the military at the same time. Breeze, this is Dean, my fiancé."
"Whoa! You're kidding! Well, congratulations Sis, this is great. Why is it that all the good looking, sexy ones are taken?"
"Don't give up hope, he's got a little brother," Storm told her smirking and thinking this might just work out.
About that time, Sam stepped from the back with a six pack in each hand and faltered in his step when he saw three sets of eyes on him. Two he knew and one he had never seen before. The stranger looked to be Storm's age, maybe a year younger, with dark, slightly wavy hair, that hung past her shoulders, but was pulled back in a loose ponytail with strands framing her face. She was a little taller than Storm and had the same athletic build. Her eyes were what grabbed his attention. They were a shade of silver gray that he had never seen before. She was good looking, and her smile was radiating. Breeze was dressed in faded jeans, combat boots, two different colored tank tops, and a short sleeved shirt with varieties of humming birds imprinted on it.
"My, oh, my…Did you say little brother?" Breeze crowed as she made her way to Sam. "Someone made sure you ate your veggies growing up," she cooed to him as she walked her fingers up his arm and stepped around him.
"I…ummm…" Sam stammered as he watched the young woman begin to circle him. He jumped a foot and nearly dropped the beers when she grabbed his ass and squeezed it.
"Sam, this is Breeze, a very dear friend and sister," Storm introduced them. "Breeze, this is Sam, Dean's younger brother."
"Where have you been all my life you sexy specimen of a man?"
"I…Ummmm…Hi?" Sam finally got out looking to Dean for help and saw he wasn't going to get any. He gave Dean a bitch face as he sat at the bar sipping on a beer trying not to laugh.
"Breeze just got back into town. She recently got out of the service."
"Yep, my entire family served in one branch or the other. Dad and my brother have a garage about forty-five minutes away that does restoration on classic cars. I'm going to be staying with them and helping out until I can find my own place. By the way, who owns the black Impala out back? She is a beauty."
"That would be me," Dean told her raising his hand. "It was our Dad's and got passed down to me."
"You've taken good care of her."
"Thanks."
"How about you give me a ride, my sexy giant?" she cooed to Sam as she moved closer to his side and batted her eyes at him. "I'd love to see what's under the hood."
Sam blushed a deep red and Dean choked on a sip of beer he had taken, making Storm slap him on the back as she held in her laughter. Sam set the cartons of beer on the bar, thinking he should have both hands free to defend himself from Storm's friend.
"Yeah, Sammy, why don't you take my Baby for a spin around the block?" Dean rasped out as he tossed the car keys toward them.
Sam and Breeze, both reached for them and caught them at the same time. Sam felt a shock run up his arm when their hands touch and looked at Breeze seeing her eyes widen with a look of surprise too.
"Shall we?" she asked looping an arm through his. "Don't worry I don't bite, at least not hard," she giggled. She snagged a couple of ice-cold beers from the cooler before pulling a reluctant Sam toward the backdoor.
"Watch the leather, if you're going to do the horizonal tango at least put a blanket on the seat."
"Really?" Sam hissed over his shoulder, giving Storm a perplexed look of save me. He resisted a little as Breeze tried to pull him toward the door to the backroom, but she was stronger than she looked.
"Have you ever done it on the hood of a car?" Breeze questioned not waiting for an answer as she continued. "Let's go howl at the moon, that is if it's out."
"Hey! No scratches to the paint job or there'll be hell to pay!" Dean called a warning to them. The last thing he heard was Breeze asking if she could drive the Impala. "I'm warning you, friend or not, if she messes up my Baby, I'll take it out of her hide."
"Don't worry, Breeze may sound wild, but she's really a gentle soul who just knows how to have fun. She'll bring them both back in one piece. She speaks her mind and is the best friend you could have to have your back."
"I'm holding you to that. I think Sammy's in over his head. She's going to chew him up and spit him out."
"Sam will be fine Babe. He knows how to handle himself once he gets over the initial shock of Breeze. I think they make a nice couple."
"Wait a minute! Did you set this up? Are you playing match maker with my little brother?" he questioned suspiciously.
"Now, would I do that?" Storm asked giving him an innocent look as she tried not to laugh.
"You little minx you. Now that we're alone," Dean mumbled to her grabbing her around the waist and pulling her to him. He kissed her slightly parted lips and down her jawline as she tilted her head back for him to have better access. "Have you ever done it in a bar? On a table?"
"No, but there's a first time for everything," Storm laughed in a husky voice as she played with his hair.
"Hold on," Dean told her letting her go to walk to the juke box and drop in some coins. He punched several buttons to fill the room with soft music before stepping back to Storm. He took her in his arms and began to sway to the music as they kissed again and began to slip out of their clothes.
A/N: So, Storm is setting Sam up with her friend. I hope you like this new addition to the story. I decided Sam needed someone too. Thanks for coming along on this journey. I do like reviews/comments. NC
