Today, Gojo would be taking the entrance exam for UA. He had already participated in the ones for Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu. Honestly, it was so easy, he had to check more than once whether he was writing an exam to become a hero, a position that holds such importance to society. Then again, he was the Gojo Satoru, everything was easy for him.

He was pretty bored though. In his previous world, he would be able to exorcise cursed spirits to ease his boredom. Unfortunately, he couldn't do that here. If he tried to do the same to villains, he would be deemed a vigilante, and then he couldn't become a hero. Also, his parents would probably ground him and stop giving sweets. Now that would be a nightmare.

Looking around the UA campus using Six Eyes, Gojo could tell that out of his three choices, UA had the largest campus. And apparently, there were more buildings and property owned by the school outside. It made sense though. UA received the largest funding out of any other school. But even then, the HPSC didn't seem to have much influence over the school, which meant that whoever run the place was not a fan of them which could help Gojo, if he could get them on his side.

That just meant UA had another plus point in his books. After walking for some time, Gojo reached a very large auditorium which was already half filled in by students. He got some weird looks from some of the students likely because he was wearing dark sunglasses inside a building. He didn't really care though. He just took a seat in the middle of the auditorium.

After 20 minutes, the entry doors for the auditorium closed and the lights dimmed. The projector started and displayed a picture of the UA campus with the words 'WELCOME TO THE UA HERO COURSE ENTRANCE EXAM'. A short person climbed up on the stage and Gojo raised an eyebrow.

"Hello, students! Am I a dog? A mouse? A bear? But importantly, I am the Principal!" Nedzu said in a cheerful voice. Well, it seems that even Gojo, who had seen it all, can still be surprised. Apparently, the principal wasn't even human. Not that he minded, if Yaga could be a principal then anyone can be.

Principal Nedzu went on to explain how the exam would be taking place. There would be two parts to the exam, one written and the other practical.

"Now as for the written part…" Nedzu started and the students leaned forward in anticipation. "That's a surprise so I can't tell you about it!" a few of the students yelped as they almost fell off their seats in surprise. Gojo just chuckled. He liked it here already.

"Anyways, as for the practical exam… you will be fighting robots."

The principal then went on to explain that there were four types of robots in the fake cities. Three out of those four were worth one, two, three points. The fourth robot was mainly an obstacle and was worth zero points. To earn points an examinee must destroy the robots. After reading out all the instructions, the principal looked up with a smile.

"Now, does anyone have any questions?" Nedzu asked the students. For a few seconds, there was no response. But then…

"Oh! Me! I have a question!" a cheerful voice said. Nedzu looked at the student who had raised his hand. He had white hair and was wearing sunglasses. He was also smiling innocently.

"Ah, yes! Examinee number 5644. What is your question?" Nedzu asked. As the boy stood up to ask his question, Nedzu noticed that the innocent smile slowly turned into a cocky smirk.

Nedzu had seen this smirk on many other students before. Usually, the ones who had a superiority complex. Although the ones who had absolute confidence in their abilities also had the same smile, so Nedzu would not be quick to judge.

"Well, you mentioned that were supposed to destroy the robots. So there is bound to be some damage to the surrounding areas. I just wanted to know how far we could go with that?" Gojo asked, smirking the entire time. The other students were staring at him. Who askes something like that?

"As long as you don't directly damage the fake city or hurt any other candidates, it's fine. Collateral damage will not be considered in your scoring, but purposefully destroying the city will." Nedzu answered. Gojo nodded in understanding.

"Okay then! Guess I'll have to hold back then!" Gojo announced making all the other students glare at him. Hold back? Did this guy think he was better than them?

"Alright! If there are no more questions than everyone, please make your way to the assigned rooms for the written exam." Nedzu said as he clapped with his paws. All the students obeyed and exited the auditorium. He knew there was no point in reprimanding the young man and he didn't want to waste time right now.

Man, I'm excited. Gojo thought as he entered the room assigned to him and saw that a lot of the occupants were still glaring at him. It obviously didn't bother him in the slightest. After all, Megumi's glares were scarier.

Soon the written test started and Gojo lost himself in the exam questions.

It was lunchtime now. Gojo was sitting in the cafeteria enjoying a cup of tea and some mochi. The written test was surprisingly challenging, even for Gojo. Then again, the principal is considered among the smartest in the world, it would make sense for the tests to be that difficult.

More importantly, he was excited about the practicals. This time he would actually get to fight something. The practical test at Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu wasn't combat-based, so this would be a nice change.

Gojo looked around and saw that many students were chatting with their friends from the same middle school. They seemed to be having light meals.

In just a few minutes, they would be called to board a bus which would take them to their assigned battle centers where they could change to their tracksuits and get ready.

This fight with the robots will give Gojo a chance to assess the strength he is at right now. He had a good idea about it from destroying trees and boulders in the woods outside the city, but an actual fight would give him a better estimate.

After a few minutes, Gojo boarded the bus to his battle center.

People were staring at him.

He was standing right outside the battle center facing the large gates. He could see people pointing at him and whispering to their companions. He couldn't exactly blame them though.

He was wearing a black tracksuit with his classic black blindfold. Also, the claim he made about holding back earlier didn't help either.

Suddenly a voice from the speakers signaled the start of the exam and the giant gates started to open.

Gojo, who didn't want to wait anymore, rushed forward before the gates opened completely and blew them off their hinges. The sudden destruction of the gates had all of the other students frozen in place with wide eyes.

Before the gates had opened, Gojo had already spotted two robots in the middle of the city. He quickly rushed there and beroe the robots could sense him, he ripped the heads off one of them, destroying it.

He then picked up the destroyed robot's body and threw it into the second robot, destroying it too. All of this happened in less than 3 seconds. The noises of the two robots getting smashed were what snapped the other students out of their trance and they ran in.

Gojo felt a slight sting of pain in his hand. He looked to see a small cut which made him chuckle. Perhaps he got too excited at the idea of smashing robots. A little reversed cursed technique was all it took to heal the cut. When he looked up he could sense more robots right around the corner of a building. He grinned and launched himself at them.

In the Observation rooms, the teaching staff of UA was observing a bunch of screens showing different battle centers. Their job was to make sure that the exam was conducted in a fair manner and also to assign rescue points to any deserving candidate. Usually, nothing major happened in these tests. Although every few years, there were exceptions.

Apparently, this was one of those years as the teachers saw one of the students in Battle Center D, blow the gates off their hinges and effortlessly destroy two robots, all within three seconds of the start of the exam. It also didn't help that this was the same student, who had earlier claimed that he would hold back.

Some of the teachers could already feel a headache coming in. They had to look after a student who had a superiority complex and the power to back it up. The dread they were feeling quickly turned into fear as Nedzu suddenly started cackling, almost spilling the cup of tea he was holding.

"My, my, it seems we will have quite a powerful student this year," Nedzu said with a smile that was too sweet.

"Well… he would still need to score well in the written exam…" one of the teachers tried to point out.

"Ah! Yes, the written exam! How could I forget~" Nedzu said in a sing-song voice.

"You already checked his paper, didn't you?"

"You know me so well~"

Satoru had just punched through a few more robots when he reached a new area of the fake city. No other student had made it this far, so there were a bunch of robots waiting there. When he saw the way they were placed, he got an idea. This would be a good opportunity to show off his cursed technique.

He quickly appeared right in the middle of them. Almost immediately, the robots started heading towards him to attack. He raised his palm in front of himself, as the world started to gain a blue tint as a tennis ball-sized blue sphere started to form in his hand.

"Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue" he muttered as his cursed technique creates a void in space, nothing occupying it. The universe quickly tries to correct itself by pulling matter from its surroundings. This happened to be all the robots, the road, and parts of the surrounding buildings.

The robots were immediately crushed and destroyed. There was also a large crater on the ground now. Gojo chuckled at the damage he caused which slowly turned into full-blown laughter. It felt great for him to let loose after such a long time. The fact that he had almost regained the strength he once had, only made the feeling better.

Some students who had just made it to the area were slightly disturbed when they saw Satoru laughing like he was insane. Though they quickly left when they saw no robots there.

Finally, Satoru stopped laughing and was about to move on to the next set of robots, when the ground beneath him shook.

In the observation room, the teachers were watching the exam with interest. Unfortunately for them, this year's candidates were less promising than any other year. That was, of course, excluding one Gojo Satoru.

There were very few students who earned rescue points this time, which slightly disappointed the teachers.

Nedzu seemed to only focus on one of the students, that being Gojo Satoru. The description of the kid's quirk was quite vague and he could not figure out exactly what it did.

The teachers were shocked when they saw Satoru use Lapse Blue.

"Cursed technique? Weird name for a super move" one of them said.

"Already having a named super move… The kid must have trained like crazy!"

Nedzu observed the effects of the blue sphere closely. On the surface, the quirk appeared to be some sort of gravity manipulation. It would explain the speed, flight, and blue sphere. But it would not explain how Gojo had healed his cut earlier or the blindfold.

"Let it be. It is not a crime to be extra prepared. I think it's time to release the Zero-pointers" he said and one of the teachers took out a large red button and pressed it.

Gojo stared at the giant robot in front of him. Around him, other students were running in the opposite direction. From the shape of the robot, he assumed it was the one that was worth zero points and was supposed to be an obstacle.

Hell of an obstacle this is. How much money does this school have? He thought to himself. From what he could tell, there were about two minutes left for the exam and it seemed like nobody was going to face the giant robot, for obvious reasons.

The smartest thing to do right now would be to use this distraction to go for the smaller robots and gain more points. The problem with that was that the smaller ones had already been eliminated, courtesy of Gojo.

Now, he had two options. He could either run follow the other students and go back to the entrance of the center. Or he could wreck this robot right here and now.

Obviously, Gojo went with the second option.

He disappeared from where he was standing and reappeared in front of the robot, floating in the air. Seeing Gojo, the robot swung its giant arm to hit him. Before the blow reached him, it was stopped by infinity.

Gojo suddenly started craving something, so he quickly blew the robot's head off using a blast of cursed energy. The other students stared at the scene with their jaws on the ground. Gojo walked past them all, whistling all the way.

I wonder which flavor of ice cream I should get...

[Timeskip to the next day at UA]

Nedzu and the other judges for the exam were sitting in the conference room, discussing the exam tatt had been conducted the day before. The meeting happened every year to award rescue points and to review the overall performance of potential candidates for the hero course. It was at this meeting, that they also decided on the class rosters.

"And for these reasons, I think that the candidate who scored second overall should be allowed to enter. Any objections?" one of the exam judges asked his colleagues and the principal. When no one responded she nodded and sat down. Now, the principal spoke.

"Right! Only one student left to review, and then we can all go home." Nedzu said cheerfully. Everyone else sat a little straighter. The entire meeting, they were putting off talking about this specific student, because he was much more different than the rest.

"The student's name is Gojo Satoru. He was the highest scorer on both the written and practical exams. Not only that, his practical exam score was the highest in UA history." one of the teachers said out loud for his colleagues to hear. Nedzu calmly watched as they whispered amongst each other. Due to him having a better hearing, he could easily make out what they were talking about.

There were a few different opinions about Gojo Satoru. Some said that he should not be accepted because he seemed to have a superiority complex and he got no rescue points. They also pointed out his unhinged laughter which sounded villainous.

Others said that while they may be true, his excellent performance cannot be disregarded. They said that UA should take him into the program and teach him instead. The kid could be the next All Might for all they knew. Of course, the end decision is with Nedzu, so any discussion was pointless. He coughs to get their attention.

"Those who oppose his admission, I can understand your concerns. But you need to remember that we are training students to be heroes. There will be time before they have to go into the field. And it is our job to point out their issues and help them overcome them." Nedzu explained to his staff calmly. They all looked at him with understanding.

"Now that that is done with, the only thing left is the class rosters…"

Gojo had received his result from all three of the schools he applied to.

As expected, he came first in all of them and was accepted. Now, he just had to decide which school to go to. He wrote them down on a piece of paper in the order in which he took the exams. First was Ketsubutsu, then Shiketsu, and finally UA.

He was spinning a pen in his hand as he looked at the paper, this time without his blindfold. The best way to decide would be to recall each school in the list, then scratch two of them off the list and finally join the third one.

Ketsubutsu had a much smaller campus than the other two, meaning there were probably fewer training facilities. That wasn't really a bad thing normally. Too bad Gojo wasn't normal. Basic jujutsu was no problem, but when it came to his cursed techniques… he would most likely end up destroying a part of the school. So, Ketsubutsu was out.

Next on the list was Shiketsu. The campus was pretty big. It seemed that they really took their rivalry with UA seriously. There was only one problem with Shiketsu. Everyone there was too serious for Gojo's tastes. It made sense because the school took discipline very seriously. But the school just didn't seem like his style. So, it was also out of the list.

That means he would be going to UA. Even if the other schools didn't have the problems listed, he would have still chosen UA because it was the only school that didn't mention his destructive tendencies in the acceptance letter.

Gojo got up and looked at himself in the full body mirror in his room.

"First-year UA Hero Course student Gojo Satoru… that is what I'll be next month" he muttered to himself. After three years, he would be a Pro Hero. Then he would work on getting in the top 10, while also getting a teaching license.

It will be quite a journey.

It had been six months since he joined UA. It was quite fun in his opinion. Most of his class didn't really like him that much though. They didn't really hate him either. They were just annoyed at his cockiness. He did have one friend though. Her name was Usagiyama Rumi. She had a rabbit quirk which gave her the attributes of a rabbit.

She was just like him- cocky and easy-going, but serious during a fight. They became quick friends after the first day of school and always hung out during lunch and sometimes after classes. It also helped that they both had a crazy sweet tooth.

The most exciting event of the year was the Sports Festival. Obviously, Gojo came first. Rumi did come second though. He mostly just used his speed, strength, and martial arts to wipe out the competition. He even used Red twice in the one-on-one matchups.

Then came the internships and with it, the need to pick hero names. Somehow, he had completely forgotten about that. He didn't really care much about it, but he had to pay attention because the name was going to be listed at the top of the chart one day. Rumi came up with 'Miruko' for some reason.

Gojo had spent some time thinking about it. He looked at the names of other pro heroes and what those names stood for. He then thought about his powers. How he was and still is the strongest. How he had been blessed with both Limitless and Six Eyes. How he had even cheated death after his first fight with Toji.

"Throughout the Heavens and Earth… I alone am the honored one." he had muttered to himself at the time. After that, it only took him a few minutes of thinking to come up with a decent name.

The Limitless Hero: Infinity

It was pretty basic, but he liked it. The name represented his abilities and that the fact that he had no limits. Not even death could limit him.

Currently, he was walking down one of the hallways of the school. He had been called to the principal's office for some reason. He hadn't done anything to warrant punishment, so he had no idea why he was being called down. When he reached the end of the hallway, he saw a large wooden with the words 'PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE' written on it.

He knocked on the door and asked permission to enter. A cheerful voice on the other side told him to come inside and so he did. Inside, he saw Nedzu sitting on an office chair behind a large desk that had a few papers scattered across it.

"You're here, . Please take a seat. Would you like some tea?" Nedzu asked as he was pouring some tea into his cup. Gojo went ahead and sat on one of the chairs placed opposite to him.

"Yes, I could use a cup of tea. Please extra sugar. Also, please call me Gojo. sounds like you're referring to my father." Satoru replied cheerfully. Nedzu poured a second cup of tea and this time added an extra sugar cube and gave it to Gojo. They each took a sip from their cup before returning to the conversation.

"So… I assume you didn't call me here just to have a cup of tea, sir. What's up?" Gojo asked as he took another sip. He would have to ask the principal the brand of this tea. He liked it a lot.

Nedzu chuckled before replying. "No, I called you here to make an offer."

"What kind of offer?" Gojo asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"I was getting to that. As you know that the second and third-year hero course students have their Provisional License Exam next week." Gojo nodded. "Normally, the first-years aren't allowed to take the exam due to lack of practice and experience. But if the student has an exceptional performance, then…"

"So, you want me to take the exam?" Gojo concluded. He was somewhat surprised. He knew he would eventually get to the exam, but he thought he had at least a year before his exam came.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to. But I can tell that you have the potential to be a great hero, and this is a very rare opportunity" Nedzu finished.

"Of course I'll go! It sounds fun" he replied with his signature smirk. Nedzu smiled.

"Perfect! Then please come to school this Sunday at 8 p.m. I shall personally take you to the exam site."

"You don't have to do that. Just send me with one of the other classes" Gojo said.

"Please, I insist. It has been a long time since a first-year has attempted the exam." Nedzu said with a tone of finality.

Gojo just sighed and nodded.

Gojo just got back home from the Provisional license Exam. He had passed and now had the authority to act like a Pro Hero in case of emergencies. Now, the only thing left to do was to review his performance.

After the second phase of the exam, each of the candidates was given an envelope which was an analysis of their overall performance. Apparently, each candidate had 100 points, to begin with, and points were deducted by the judges of the exam based on the candidate's performance.

He hadn't seen his report, but he probably got 100 points. He was Gojo Satoru, how could he not get a perfect score. He relaxed for some time and then sat down at his desk to read his report. Though he was shocked to see his score.

"What?..." he muttered to himself. He had been expecting a perfect score of 100 points, but instead, he got 70. He had never scored less than perfect on any exam in both of his lives, then why?...

He sat up a bit straighter and the lazy look on his face had turned into a serious one. He removed his blindfold, so he could give his full attention to the report. He had to know his mistakes and fix them quickly. He was the Gojo Satoru, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, and future top hero.

First, he read through the things he got a perfect score in. These were mainly things like maintaining composure in tense situations, efficiency at both rescue and when dealing with the villains. They also complimented his quick thinking and his ability to make decisions without any hesitation. They were also impressed with his combat prowess.

Then he came to the things that he lost points in. The first one was teamwork. He hadn't even tried to work together with the other students at the site. He did everything on his own. The report said that this wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but could become troublesome in the future by causing problems if Gojo ever had to team up with someone.

Gojo frowned at that. He knew where they were coming from, but still. He always fought alone. It was his style. If he had a partner, he would have had to hold back his cursed techniques.

The other thing the report mentioned was the lack of reassurance in Gojo's words and behavior.

Apparently, him saying that he was the strongest was not enough.

The third thing the report mentioned was his roughness with the villains. While they weren't hurt too badly, Gojo should have been careful and caused minimal injury when capturing them.

Gojo just sighed. These three years were going to be the longest of his life.

[One big time-skip later]

He was 27 years old now. A lot had happened in the past few years. When he had first become a Pro Hero, he wanted to quickly get a teaching license to be a heroics teacher. But that didn't work out, because to be a hero class teacher, he would need to have at least three years of experience under his belt.

He was annoyed at the time but didn't argue. After that, he worked as a hero for three years. He was starting to build a name for himself, but then he stopped to join a course for hero teachers.

There, he met Gang Orca. He looked pretty scary but was a nice guy.

After getting the teaching license, he decided to first become one of the top 10 heroes, before taking a teaching position. So he got started on that. Last year, he had ranked 20 on the hero billboard, but he was climbing up fast. He saw some media reports and articles claiming that with the speed he was climbing the ranks, he should be in the top 10 this year.

Currently, he was in Musutafu, visiting a famous cake shop Rumi had recommended to him. Also, he had been invited to the Hero Billboard ranking ceremony, so he had to attend that.

This would also be a good time to start applying for teaching positions at hero schools, starting with UA.

He was about to fly off, but a sudden explosion and the rise of smoke nearby caught his attention. He sighed. Seems the cake will have to wait.

"Guess I'll go…" he muttered to himself as he went in the direction of the smoke.
