New bug
i am being honest as of this moment, when i saw the review about Ken having a Kryptonian form... i completely missed that thought process when i posted that chapter, so thanks for pointing that out, anyway enjoy
Ducking under a hail of bullets from the Bank, an officer gave a yell of anger and defiance as the glass of his patrol cars window shattered from the bullets.
Looking down to avoid glass entering his eyes, the halt of bullets gave way to the sound of evil laughter from the bank.
Kneeling down to reload his AK, a thug wearing a Jokers attire, sporting a mask designed to resemble the clown of Gotham himself, beside him a thug wearing a full black suit laughed with him wearing a Batman mask.
Checking their ammo, the batman thug called out to the back with a smile in his voice.
"HEY, JERRY, HOW WE LOOKING AT CRACKIN THAT SAFE!?" looking at the back hallway to the vault, the man frowned at the silence that followed.
Making the two share a look before they got up, the hostages in the middle of the room flinched at being surrounded by three more confused thugs who turned to the Vault entrance with confusion.
Keeping an eye on the hostages, a thug spoke while approaching the hallway leading to the vault, only to see the thug tinkering away at the vault, a pair of headphones on his ears with sparks flying from the two grinders set up, moving back at seeing the cost clear, the thug failed to see Jerry look up before he was flash frozen, leaving the grinders going.
Lowering himself down to the floor, Ken looked around for any other thugs before he moved forward, gliding a foot off the ground, he peeked around the corner to hear gunfire leading outside, and seeing the many thugs holding the hostages, Ken frowned with a plan racing through his head before he looked up to the lights above, slapping the Omnitrix on his chest, Ken became the Megamind.
"Ok, lets see if this works" with that he moved for the nearest vent.
Thus leaving the thugs holding out an extra two minutes until the lights switched off, making them along with the hostages look up in confusion… with the thugs looking around.
"Is that bug freak here!?" moving around the room, they all failed to notice two pairs of hostages vanish two at a time while they looked up, the explosive vests held on them left on the floor.
And seeing the last pair of hostages vanish, the lead thug looked back with a cautious frown, looking back up his head snapped down with a shocked voice.
"WHERE ARE THE HOSTAGES!?" making his crew turn, they all looked around with frowns of confusion, they all flinched as Big Chill rose from the ground.
Looking to the thugs, Big chill gave a half hearted shrug.
"They took a walk" seeing the thugs confused, Big Chill took a big inhale as the sounds of guns being prepped to fire echoed around him.
"KILL THIS FRE-!" was as far as the leader got before half of the thugs were frozen solid, their eyes and noses left to open air. And seeing this happening the remainder of the thugs dived behind covered, avoiding the ice breath of the Necrofriggian.
Seeing the numbers halved, Big Chill grinned as he faded from sight, not noticing a sniper set in place with eyes and noses exposed, and seeing their fellow thugs frozen, Big Chill gave a dark laugh as he moved through the building, leaving one thug frozen with his mouth growing a scary blue in seconds.
"Oh don't mind me, or him, he felt hot so I dialed the temp down for him" looking at his handiwork, Ken grinned widely.
"He looks comfy though, why don't you all join him!" spreading his wings out with his true form shown, the thugs made to run.
"SHIT, IT'S ANOTHER SPIDER FREAK!" jostling at being called similar to Spider Man, Big Chill spoke with a hint of being offended in his voice.
"Hey, I'm a Moth, not an arachnid" shooting at the moron who called him a spider, Big Chill froze the man in place, making the rest move to shoot they all struck true with Big Chill cursing at being careless as he began to bleed from… very shallow wounds, ducking out of sight with a frown, his mind went through various scenes.
'Well, the show never showed Ben get shot by bullets' looking around, Ken Grinned as he faded from sight just as the remaining thugs came around his hiding spot.
Three left, huh?
Seeing this, Ken became visible above the three who looked up in time to be hit by a small blizzard.
Sooner stepping out of the bank with a strut in his step, Ken in the form of Big Chill approached the officers who stood dumb founded at his casual approach.
Looking back at the bank, Big Chill turned back to the officer to flinch back at having a 9 mm held at his face, and shockingly enough the face of yuriko "Yuri" watanabe… from the Spider man game… hold up!?
"Hands where I can see them" looking confused while slowly raising his hands above his head, Yuri turned to an officer to her right.
"Get in there and make sure those ass holes in there are alive" turning back to ken, he gave a small wave.
"Hi?" aiming her gun more prominently, Yuri spoke as a squad of officers left to check the bank.
"Who are you?" not really expecting an answer from him, she was surprised when he gave a small shrug.
"It's kind of a work in progress my hero name but well… it changes with every form I take but for now I go by Big Chill" shrugging as Watanabe stared at him in confusion, she spoke.
"So you're not the Spider using a new look?" giving her an unamused look, Ken unfolded his wings around himself while looking down himself.
"Do I look like a fricking Spider to you, this is a Moth get up, I am a MOTH MAN!" grabbing his wings as they took the form of a poncho, he gave them a flap to prove a point.
"You sure are chatty like him" giving a sigh while his shoulder sagged, an officer returned with a nervous look towards Ken.
"Uh, ma'am… we may have a problem with moving the uh… suspects will need a lot of… heaters" staring at Big Chill, the NYPD captain stared at Ken who stood sheepishly.
"Uh, I'll help with that" moving to switch forms, they all turned to a lamppost to see Spider man looking down at them.
"Uh, am I late?" raising a hand up to Peter, Ken spoke.
"Hey Pe-Spidey, you just missed them their inside having a cold one" thumbing to the bank, Spider man took one look to see ice through the windows.
"Uh, I'm gonna take a rain check on this one, this suit is very thin as you can tell" snorting at his joke, Yuri spoke while holstering her side arm.
"What's next, a lizard guy pops up" blinking at a bright green flash, Yuri blinked the brightness away before she stepped back at the sight of Hermes smiling at her with a wave.
"I think this guy is a lizard like species" looking at his claws, Hermes smiled.
"Oh for gods sake" shaking her head at Hermes, the Kineceleran looked up to Spider man who stifled a laugh.
"She single?" was all Ken whispered to Spider man with Yuri turning to Ken with a look of surprised.
"Did you really just ask that?" turning back to her, Ken shrugged.
"I have a thing for strong women" shrugging at the commissioner, Yuri looked away to hide her blush while scratching her head in frustration, it didn't help when Spider man spoke.
"I never really saw her with any partners" turning to give Spider man an accusing look, Yuri spoke.
"Don't encourage him!" with that the two shared a small laugh while Yuri once more blushed while moving to her car.
"TOO LATE!" with that Hermes rushed into the Bank, sooner returning with the thugs in ice set in the street as the police vans arrived.
Staring at the sight, Peter looked at Hermes as he ate a cheeseburger beside him.
"Where's my one?"
