Well, Declan finally showed up. So, what's his match with Charlie gonna be. Just read and find out. Also, I edited parts of the last chapter because I missed a few thing out. So yeah, sorry about that.
Chapter 6
Seven Rings
Charlie POV.
"You want to duel ME?" I asked.
"Yes", said Declan. "The duelling styles of your three friends are quite unique. These three students are the top of their respective classes for their respective summon methods. Yet, your friends have learned techniques that they haven't learned in class yet. So, I'm intrigued by what your style could be".
"Then I guess the deal is still on", I said. "Alright, we'll duel. But, since you challenged me, I think it's fair that I should pick the field".
"Very well", said Declan. "But choose wisely, it could the last you have a You Show student". We made our way to the arena and I chose the field. I chose Demon city. What, I'm homesick. After saying that motto and activated our duel disks. My monster card try was incredibly large and was the shape of a scythe blade.
Declan: 4000
Charlie: 4000
"You may go first Declan" I said.
"Why thank you", said Declan drawing the top card of her deck. "I play the continuous spell, dark contract with the gate. This spell allows me to ad one 'D/D' monster from my deck to my hand. Only downside, is that during my next standby phase, I'll take 1000 points of damage. So, I'll add D/D Cerberus to my hand".
'Hm, if he's taking damage from his own spell cards', I thought. 'He must have some way on using that to his advantage'.
"Next, I play another dark contract with the gate", said Declan. "And this time, I'll use it to add D/D Lilith to my hand".
'Hm', thought Charlie. 'He must be gathering materials for something, but is it fusion, synchro or Xyz?'.
"Next, I play dark contract with the swamp king", said Declan. "Like my other cards, I'll take 1000 points of damage during my standby phase, but once per turn, I can fusion summon one fiend-type fusion monster. So, I fuse Cerberus and Lilith. I fusion summon! D/D/D Flame King Genghis!". A warrior decked out in brown, bronze, silver and red armour and carried a red sword and shield.

"Then it's my move then", I said drawing the top card of my deck. 'Hm, I gotta get rid of that monster and his contracts. Wait. Yes. yes, this could work'.
"First, is the spell card, Shield and sword", I said. "Now, the attack and defence points of all monsters on the field are switched for the turn".

"Next, I play the spell card, Seven Rings Fusion" I said. This made the other student's gasp.
"She's fusion summoning on her first turn?" Asked Allie.
"Apparently so" said Sora.
"I fuse Barong of the Seven Rings with Ukobach of the Seven Rings", I said performing the summon. "You have it, he wants it, he needs it, he craves it! All those who have what he desires or have hearts that are voided, beware his influence. I Fusion summon! Leviathan! The Envious Prince of the Seven Rings!". My new monster was a large sea serpent with glowing yellow eyes, spikes on it's head resembling a crown and a mouth full of sharp teeth.

"Whoa, now that's a vicious monster", said Gong. "Gong's never seen a monster like that".
"But regardless of whether she played Shield and Sword or not", said Tate. "Leviathan would still have enough attack points to destroy Genghis".
"Leviathan! Attack D/D/D Flame King Genghis!", I shouted. "Envious Shriek!". Leviathan then let out an ear piercing shriek.
"I play the trap card, dark contract with the witch", said Declan. "Thanks to this trap, my monster gains 1000 extra attack points. But, I'll take 1000 points of damage during my next standby phase".

ATK: 1500 + 1000 = 2500
"I was hoping you'd make a move like that!" I shouted.
"Wait, she WANTED Declan to increase the attack points of his monster?!" Asked Skip in complete shock.
"Because now, Leviathan's special ability goes into effect", I said. "When ever my opponent activates a card effect that changes a monster's attack or defence points, Leviathan's points change by the same amount. So, that's an extra 1000 points".
Leviathan the Envious Prince of the Seven Rings
ATK: 2400 + 1000 = 3400
"So THAT was her plan" said Allie.
Leviathan then destroyed Genghis.
Declan: 4000 - 900 = 3100
"As soon as my turn ends, your contracts are going to drain the rest of you life points", I said. "So, why don't you just surrender already?".
"Sorry, but I'm breaking my contracts", said Declan. "I activate Contract Laundering. Thanks to this, I negate the effects of my contract cards and destroy them".
"I was hoping you'd do that too" I said.
"You were?" Asked Declan curiously.
"Yep, it's thanks to my facedown card, heavy storm aftermath", I said. "When spells and or trap cards are destroyed by card effects, I gain 400 points for each one. So thanks, you just gave me 1600 life points".
Charlie: 4000 + 1600 = 5600
"I must admit, I am impressed", said Declan. "You not only destroyed my monster but gain more life points as well".
"And I'm not done yet", I added. "When Ukobach is discarded from my hand, I can take three cards from my deck that have 'Seven Rings' in their name or text and add them to my hand". Three cards then popped out of her deck and she added them to her hand.
"Next comes Barong's effect", I said. "When Barong is discarded, I can special summon one 'Seven Rings' monster from my hand. So, I summon Bune of the Seven Rings". My new monster was a dragon like creature with three heads. One of a man, one of a dog and one of bird.

"Seriously, what's up with these new students and their freaky monsters?" Asked Kitt.
"Oh, and I'll place these two cards facedown", I said. "Your move".
"Very well", said Declan drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon, the tuner monster, D/D Nighthowl". Declan's new monster was a set of fangs with eyes.

'A tuner monster', I thought. 'He must be planning a synchro summon'.
"When Nighthowl is summoned, I can bring another D/D monster back from my graveyard with it's attack and defence reduced to 0. And I choose my Level 4 D/D Lilith" said Declan. Declan's new monster was something that looked like a cross between a human and a flower. Also, my mom does NOT look like that.
"I now tune my level 3 Nighthowl with my level 4 Lilith", said Declan performing the summon. "I Synchro summon! D/D/D Gust King Alexander!". Declan's new monster was a warrior in silver armour with white and red highlights, a green cape and carried a sword.

"Now, I activate Alexander's ability", said Declan. "I can bring a 'D/D' monster from my graveyard. And I choose D/D Lilith". Lilith then reappeared on his field.
"Next, is banishment support effort", said Declan. "If I banish a monster from my graveyard, I can use that monster's ability. So, I banish Genghis to use it's ability to special summon D/D Cerberus from my graveyard". A mutilated, mutant humanoid dog then appeared on his field.
"Next, I overlay both Lilith and Cerberus", said Declan performing the summon. "I xyz summon D/D/D Wave King Caesar". Declan's new monster was a warrior wearing purple, blue, yellow and silver armour and carried a big meaty sword.

"Very well then, I shall end my turn" said Declan.
"Then it's my move", I said. "I summon Apep of the Seven Rings". A demonic cobra coloured black and red appeared on my field.

"So now, I tune my level 3 Apep with my level 4 Bune", I said performing the summon. "Coins, dollars, pounds and pence! Wealth of all either dollar or cent! All in his grasp shall become gold and his treasures shall never grow old! I synchro summon! Mammon! The Greedy Prince of the Seven Rings!". My new monster was jester themed demon that was coloured black and yellow.

"Now for Mammon's special ability", I said. "For every 500 life points I pay, I get to turn one of your monsters into gold statues".
"Turn his monsters into what?" Asked Zuzu. Both Alexander and Caesar were turned into gold statues".
Charlie: 5600 - 1000 = 4600
"And what's the purpose of this?" Asked Declan.
"Well", I said. "As long as Mammon's on the field, monsters that were turned into gold statues can't attack, defend or use their special abilities. So, they're pretty much useless to you now. But I activate Mammon's other ability. If I have less than 3 cards in my hand, I can draw three cards from my deck". I then drew the top three cards of my deck.
"I summon Eligos of the Seven Rings" I said. My new monster was a demonic knight riding a wicked horse.

"Next, I play the spell card, Pentagram Formation Summoner", I said. "Thanks to this card, I can target one 'Seven Rings' monster on my field and summon another 'Seven Rings' monster from my deck. So, I choose to summon Xaphan of the Seven Rings" my new monster was a gremlin-like devil who held a blower that was used to start fires.

"Now, I overlay both Xaphan and Eligos", I said performing the summon. "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network! Doing nothing but lounging on his throne, but his mind is full of wicked schemes! I Xyz summon! Belphegor! The Slothful Prince of the Seven Rings!". My new monster was a semi-muscular demon with bandages covering it's face, goat horns on it's head and it had a cow tail.

Everyone was shocked by the feat I just pulled. "She Fusion, Synchro and Xyz summoned" said Tate.
"She knows all three main methods of summoning" said Skip.
"But how did she learn that?" Asked Gong.
'There's something suspicious about this girl', thought Henrietta. 'But, I just can't put my finger on it'.
"Soooooooooooo, she, can Xyz summon" said Dipper.
"Aaaaaannnd Fusion" added Julia.
"Not to mention Synchro" added Kitt.
"Anybody else feel humiliated because they lost to the new kids on the block?" Asked Dipper.
"Yeah" said Julia.
"Yep"said Kitt popping the p.
"Now, Belphegor!", I shouted. "Attack with Snore Roar!". Belphegor then let out a loud snore and destroyed Caesar.
Declan: 3100 - 200 = 2900
"Now Mammon! Attack Alexander!" I shouted. Mammon pulled a mallet out of nowhere and smashed Alexander to pieces.
Declan: 2900 - 400 = 2500
"I end my turn" I said. Declan then drew the top card of his deck.
"I use scale 1 D/D Servant Galilei and scale 10 D/D Servant Kepler to set the pendulum scale" said Declan. Declan's two monsters appeared on either side of him in two pillars of blue light. This shocked everyone, especially Yuya.
"I pendulum summon!", Shouted Declan. "My three D/D/D Doom King Armageddons!". His there monsters looked like giant pillars of crystal with armour and a face.

"I'll end my turn by leaving my field as is" said Declan.
'So this is Pendulum summon? It looks like fun', I thought as I drew the top card of my deck. 'Oh, I think I have an idea'.
"I activated Belphegor's ability", I said. "By using an overlay unit, I can add one 'Seven Rings' monster from my deck to my hand". One of Belphegor's overlay units disappeared into his horns as a card popped out of my deck.
"Now's it's time to beat you at your own game", I said. "I use Scale 2 Razzle of the Seven Rings and Scale 9 Dazzle of the Seven Rings to set the Pendulum scale. You're in my royal court now, so prepare to bow!". I place my two monsters on each side of my monster card tray and the word pendulum appeared on it. The two monsters that resembled my pets back in hell appeared on either side of me as they emerged in two pillars of red light.
"Uh, aren't pendulum pillars supposed to be blue, not red?" Asked Zuzu.
"And that sky light isn't supposed to be red either" said Allie.
"My fallen cherub friends allow me to summon monsters whose levels range from 3 to 8", I said. "Now, here comes Razzle's pendulum ability. Once a turn, I can look at the top five cards of my deck. And if I see any 'Seven Rings' monsters, I can add them to my hand". I drew the top five cards of my deck and looked at them.
"BINGO! TWO 'SEVEN RINGS' MONSTERS!", I cheered in excitement. "I Pendulum summon! Furfur and Alal of the Seven Rings!". The first monster was a humanoid deer with bat wings and the second one was a demon woman with red skin, black armour, devil wings, tail and horns.

"Now, I tune my level 4 Furfur with my level 3 Alal", I said performing the summon. "With anger and hate flowing through the veins of your soldiers! I Synchro summon! Satan! The Wrathful Prince of the Seven Rings!". This made a lot of people gasp.
"Wait! Satan!" Shouted Kitt. My me monster had large horns and resembled a bull. He wore very threatening battle armour and carried weapons on his back.

"Now for Mammon's ability" I said.
Charlie: 4600 - 1500 = 3100
All three of his Armageddons then turned into gold.
"Next, comes Satan's first ability", I said. "If he battles a monster that has more attack points than him, he gains 500 attack points during the battle phase".
Satan the Wrathful Prince of the Seven Rings
ATK: 2900 + 500 = 3400
"Now! Attack with Wrathful Beatdown!" I shouted. Satan then charged forward and began to punch the Armageddon on the right until it was destroyed.
Declan: 2500 - 400 = 2100
"And that's not all", I said. "Being the prince of wrath, he loves nothing more than a good fright! So, as long as you have a monster, he can attack again! Now atta-". Declan then got a call on his Duel Disk.
"Declan", said Henrietta. "We have a situation that requires your attention".
"Understood" he said.
"Ms. Magne", he said. "I'm afraid we're going to cut this duel short. Some business just came up".
"Eh, okay. I'm used to it. Given my dad's job and all" I responded. The arena then turned back to normal and the holograms disappeared. Declan then deactivated his duel disk and walked out. He then handed Helsa a piece of paper.
"Ms. Von Eldritch", he said. "Please send the photo this number and you'll hear back from it in about a week or so".
"What?", aske Julia. "You're letting them win?!".
"But the duel isn't over" added Kitt.
"On the contrary", said Declan. "Whether if my business came up or not….I was never gonna walk away the victor". Everyone gasped at this.
"You mean you were going to loose?" Asked Henrietta.
"Yes mother, I was", answered Declan. "With my monster's special abilities negated and Satan's battle based ability, my life points would've gone to 0 on that turn".
"Hey! What about our deal?" Asked Seviathan.
"Once the photograph has been sent, you'll here the results in a few weeks at the most", said Declan. "But, you Charlie. You surprise me. I see great things in your future. For both you AND Yuya. Good day". They then left and things were quiet. Yuya sulked a bit because someone else used pendulum summoning, but he got over it. But, I got a feeling that this isn't the last that we're gonna hear from L.I.D.
