Conquering a warlord Part 2
Inhaling sharply as his mind regained full focus, Ken moved off the bed with a grunt as he fell to the floor, his clothing replaced by a hospital gown, the only thing untouched was the Omnitrix though it had wires connected to it, seeing this Ken tore them off as he stood up, feeling pressure on his right side, he tore the bandages off to show a faint scar from Vilgax, glaring forward with a vengeance as he stood up, Ken scowled while sending a punch into a wall. Startling a nurse in the next room, Ken leaned his head against it with a sigh.
His mind was going through various scenarios of this very moment, and it all came to one thing… With Vilgax alive, he would be a nuisance whenever Darkseid or Thanos came around… that only meant one thing…
Looking up with determination now, Ken turned to a door opening.
Seeing Aranea rush in with Max, Ben and Gwen, he gave a grunt as Venessa zoomed into his stomach.
Wrapping the young Kineceleran firmly, Ken still had a hard look as Aranea joined her daughter, with Ken inhaling her scent, his eyes flashed amber for a second.
Pulling away, Ken held Aranea's face to stare at him, staring into her eyes Ken gave a deep kiss before hugging her again.
"Ken, are you alright?" turning to Max with a glare, Ken spoke.
"Ready for round two" seeing Max stare at him in surprise, Ben spoke.
"Are you crazy, you got your butt kicked, he gave you that!" seeing Ben point at the scar on Ken, the older brother stared at Ben.
"If not me who else will fight squid face" moving to leave, the door opened once more to show Fury.
"Right now this Vilgax has the planet hostage, apparently he has an armada over the planet and he demands an alien weapon known as the Omnitrix" stopping as Natasha stood at Fury's left, Ken stood firmly while the director stared at him with a knowing look.
"The League are looking all over the globe for this, Omnitrix. And for all intents and purposes… I have more faith in you than those guys, so let's get to work if you're up and walking" gesturing to follow him, Ken and his family stepped in line with Fury, showing them in a facility.
"Where are we?" staring at the many agents of shield prepping for a full scale assault, Max spoke.
"My old job" turning to Max with a frown, Ken looked around to see many work stations abandoned by time, seeing one in particular, Ken stared at it for a second before turning to Max.
"Does this place still have power?" seeing Max frown in thought, he nodded slowly before Ken approached the station where harnesses sat, seeing it shaped after a human figure, Ken spoke over his shoulder.
"I have a plan to even the odds" turning to Aranea, the princess stood at attention at his strong stare, making her heart beat faster.
"I hid pieces of tech in various places on the vacation, Can you get them and bring them here?" seeing Aranea blink, she gave a determined nod as Ken wrote quickly on a notepad, handing it to his alien lover, she looked it over with a frown before she nodded.
"I'll get what I can" nodding thankfully to Aranea, she zoomed off with Ken turning to Fury who had a frown of intrigue.
"You have any clothes I can put on while the league are on a goose chase?" seeing Fury smirk, he turned to Natasha who nodded.
"I have a set, but what I really want to know is what you have planned" turning to the station, Max spoke.
"That station was used to fashion suits for combat back in the day… are you planning to make your own?" turning to Max as Natasha returned, Ken took the pants with a nod, pulling them up he tore the gown off to put on a black muscle shirt.
Running a hand over a robotic arm, Ken spoke.
"I have a few ideas"
Zooming across America in search of Ken's stashes, Aranea looked up to the many ships hovering in orbit as they monitored the surface, shaking her head at the world believing Vilgax's fake story of searching for a relic of the galvans, she skidded to a stop as she found herself at the entrance of an old mine, frowning at the sight she zoomed in with haste… and came back out with eyes of shock as she held two duffel bags… of adamantium and vibranium.
Shaking off her disbelief she zoomed back to Rushmore.
Setting the bags down with ken crouched down with a welding Helmet on, she stared at him calmly before zooming out once more, finding the next stash in a secret compartment in a restored museum, she reached in to bring out… Blueprints. Looking over them she found herself looking over designs and such, one where Metal was woven into a fabric like material.
Zooming back once again, she left with excitement as she found herself in an old warehouse in New York, and staring at her in a dark corner was four boxes of the Rhino's armor pieces.
Taking them back one by one, the final one she had the misfortune of getting the attention of the Flash.
Skidding to a stop as the Box holding the broken helmet of Rhino rattled in her hands, she stared at the Flash as he stopped.
"Hey, you carrying a watch?" seeing the red clad hero as clueless as the other heroes, Aranea spoke firmly.
"If you give him what he wants, Vilgax will torch this world anyway, he's a warmonger" seeing Flash blink, Aranea zoomed away with the Flash following.
"What do you mean!?" stopping with a glare, Aranea spun with her tail tripping Flash by her, she quickly zoomed off as Barry Allen groaned from hitting the side of a gas station.
Skidding to a stop at the workstation, Ken was in the midst of working on an exoskeleton for his armor.
"I got all the materials, mind explaining what it's gonna do?" turning to her while filing through the blueprints he made, many agents were in the station setting up equipment.
Showing a helmet designed like a cybernetic skull, Ken spoke.
"Thought of a name for myself" looking over the blue paper, Max raised an eyebrow.
"Loki?"
Turning to Max with a nod, the welding helmet slammed down as he began to work, Ben and Gwen watching him work with awe, Aranea moved around to help, those watching stared in awe as over time the makings of a very advanced suit began to form with the help of Heatwave, Megamind and Mechaware. The result with Ken working on the Helmet with optics in place over the eyes in the skull socket, the lights came to life as he finished the wiring, he flowed off of the helmet with the skull remaining a jet black with red streaks running down the forehead, leading up the two curved horns above the eyebrows of the helmet, Ken flashed back into his human form to pick up the helmet to test it's fitting, feeling the rubber interior of the helmet, a HUD came to life for Ken as he looked over the station, his HUD displaying the information on all agents, he gave a curt nod as he removed it. Setting it down he turned to the suit with Aranea zooming around it, she stopped to stare at Ken who smiled at the work.
Nodding to her he gave a nod.
"Go check on V, you've been at this for a while" seeing her perk up, she spoke with a piece of paper in hand with a cut out.
"Just one more touch" placing the paper on the almost skin like chest, she spray painted bright green over the cutout… showing it to be the Omnitrix symbol.
"Just thought I'd add a little hero symbol on there" seeing her smile, Ken gave her a deep kiss, he let her go to stare at the masterpiece. Moving to admire it, he stood at the back where it sat open for the wearer to climb in.
Looking around Ken climbed in with a grunt, the snug fit making him wonder how the Rhino felt with his suit, the back closed over him as he tested the fitting, his hands feeling like a second skin was placed over it, he flexed his fingers and joints, he unhinged the clamps holding the suit up, he landed with a thud, his built in boots firmly planted, he looked to the Omnitrix exposed through the compartment, Ken gave the button a push with the pop up poking through.
Nodding at the use, he shut it off before looking to his helmet.
Moving to get his helmet, the base shook suddenly with an alarm going off.
"Ladies and Gentlemen" looking up as Fury's voice moved over the intercom, the next words made Ken set the helmet on quickly with the HUD connecting to the suits systems.
"The league found us"
Stepping out of the bay with heavy foot falls, Ken cracked his neck as the horns on the helmet sprouted upward, his optics looking over the area like real eyes. He stared forward while cracking his knuckles.
"Round two squid face"
When he arrived to the room where his family set up, Fury was talking to a very persistent Batman while the league stood back calmly, hoping for a compromise, thought it was all shot down with Max saying giving Vilgax what he wanted was a death wish.
So far Fury was giving Batman a run for his patience until all eyes turned to Ken in his armor, making him two heads taller, he stalked to Fury's side to stare down at Batman.
"You want peace, than go somewhere else that wants to listen" staring up at him, Batman spoke with his eyes narrowed.
"Who are you?" instead of answering, Ken held his left wrist up to show the Omnitrix.
"The bastard lucky enough to get this thing" Seeing Bruce was about to speak while eying the watch, a voice Ken did not recognize spoke out.
"So this is that boy you wanted as our teams leader, Fury?" turning to the owner of the sultry voice, Ken stared at the forms of his supposed team if he joined SHIELD.
And upon seeing the members from LOL, Wonder Woman scowled with a sword readied.
"Evelyn!" seeing the demoness who had spoke turn to Diana, she smiled knowingly.
"Ah, so the Amazon's finally decide to help the rest of the world, finally grew a conscious that you lot can't always inbreed" seeing Diana scowl as Evelyn moved to get in her face, Ken couldn't stop himself from staring at her swaying hips, he turned to Fury who groaned.
"I told you all to wait in the briefing room" seeing Evelyn turn to Fury with a knowing smirk, the demoness let her eyes drift to Ken who stared back calmly.
"You know how I get curious Fury, and I'm glad I did this time" circling Ken as he stared after her calmly, the voice of Ahri spoke.
"Eve, we have a crisis at hand, we don't need infighting!" turning to the gorgeous fox girl, Ahri stared at Ken meekly, his eyes sooner drifted to the other members of the team two faces made Ken frown.
"She is right, our true foe could be here any moment, we must set out to find him first on our terms" staring at the forms of Genji and Hanzo Shimada, Ken turned to Fury who smiled smugly.
Looking back at the brothers, Genji stood not as a cyborg, but a full flesh and blood human.
While Hanzo stood in civilian clothing, unlike his brother.
Who wore ninja attire.
"Alright, I believe a first time team briefing is in order" turning back to Fury as he held a datapad, the Justice League and… what would they be called… a thought for later.
Standing with his family as Fury brought up a hologram, it showed the White house with a Ship above it.
"As of this moment, the White house is being held at laser point because some people didn't know how to get their shit together, while that was happening, I had my people gather a team, first things first, Loki, you will lead this mission to take down a sea food reject, you will follow his orders to the letter, and I mean the letter Evelyn" turning to the chuckling Demoness, Diana spoke with her sword pointed at Evelyn who smirked.
"You cannot trust this she-demon, it has been her work past civilizations had fallen" turning to Diana, Ken turned back to Evelyn who looked at him with a smirk, Ken turned to Fury with a sigh.
"Fuck it, let's just get over there" with that he stunned everyone as he made to leave the room with Fury smiling knowingly alongside Max.
"Wait, where are you going?" turning to 9S and 2B, Ken shrugged.
"Winging it" leaving behind a stunned room, Evelyn began to giggle before it exploded into heartfelt laughter, getting up she followed Ken with small giggles.
"I like this man" what followed was the supposed candidates for Ken's team, seeing them file out, Aranea turned to her daughter.
"Venessa, I need you to stay with Max again ok, I'll be right back" seeing her daughter frown in worry, Venessa spoke.
"Are you gonna make sure daddy stays safe?" smiling at her daughter, Aranea spoke.
"Of course sweetie, now you behave, Mommies gonna go stop a misbehaving warlord" giggling at her mother, Aranea followed the supposedly formed team with the League filing after them with urgency.
stepping out into a Hanger bay where a Quinjet sat in wait, Ken stepped forward with a newly made hand-cannon, he had based it off the one from the comedy RIPD, following him closely was a smugly smiling Evelyn who had her... tails following her loosely.
following her movements were her bands/singers Ahri Kitsune, Akali Kurama, Evelyn and Kai'Sa, the three following with an air of purpose while Evelyn smirked.
following closely, Genji and Hanzo were tightening their gear for preparations for the upcoming battle, Genji winking playfully to a passing agent.
joining them in her newly furbished comabt gear, Angela Ziegler followed while adjusting her energy pistol while her colleague Moira flexed her fingers.
and finally, the two other worldly visitors were in full battle mode, with 2B's blue eyes exposed to the world as they glowed alongside 9S'.
Anyone have any suggestions for a hero group name, I'm all for ideas.
