Despite the fact the watch had given him an unselected Alien, Ken did feel free when he became Fenrir, he knew the feeling of being a wolf all too well, the rush, the senses… the bloodlust. But it all came down to the memories of his past… as Loki Fenris during his rebirth on remnant.
But that will be left for later, right now though.
Tossing the Vulpimancer away as they landed, Ken gave a vicious roar of challenge that the Vulpimancer returned with anger.
Seeing it rush at Ken, Fenrir gave a snarl as he charged forward, his red tattoo's glowing as he shoulder checked the alien dog, getting a yelp from said alien, Fenrir roared as he spun with his arms held out with his claws ready.
Sending blood from the fresh wounds the Vulpimancer now sported, it gave a call out to it's ally who leaped towards Fenrir who slouched forward, his tattoo's glowing fiercely before he let out a roar as energy exploded from him.
Shrouding his upper body in writhing red energy, Fenrir's eyes looked at his claws in confusion before he shook his head and turned to the wounded Vulpimancer as it charged, it's companion joining it's side.
Seeing this, Ken let himself go, rushing back his claws moved without thought, slashing and gutting whatever they could, Fenrir's eyes glowed brightly while Genji stared in surprise… and slight fear.
Fenrir had gone into a Frenzy!.
Watching the sight of Ken literally thrashing the Vulpimancer's into the ground, it was when he smashed the female Vulpimancer to the ground where a loud crack rose from it's thrashing body, stepping back with teeth bared, it's right arm showed itself twisted back, seeing this, the Male Vulpimancer went to tackle Ken, only to stop as Fenrir's claws gripped the female's neck, making it whimper in fear as the grip tightened with claws digging just a touch.
"Stand down!" was all Ken growled with the Vulpimancer whimpering at it's partner, and seeing the male tilt it's head between Ken and it's mate. The Vulpimancer lowered it's head a sign that allowed Ken's glow to fade, making him confused at the notion before he shrugged.
Turning to the female who whimpered at his attention, he merely grabbed it's dislocated arm and tugged, making it pop into place with the Vulpimancer yelping at the sensation until it relaxed at feeling it's arm again.
Looking to it's flexing arm, the female turned to Ken who stood firmly, staring at one another, the female bowed it's head in submission, a sight Genji relaxed to as he dropped down to Ken's side.
Making said hero turn to Genji, he gave a nod as Hanzo landed beside Genji, a sonic arrow at the ready as Max, Ben, Gwen and Phil ran into sight, Phil blinking at the two Vulpimancer's who turned to him and snarled, backing away behind Fenrir who looked at them in confusion.
Seeing them whimpering at him, Ken turned to Max who blinked.
"I don't know how, but they want to get off the planet" blinking at him, Max turned to a flabbergasted Phil who spoke in shock.
"Wait, you understand them?" turning to Phil, Ken turned back to the two Mega Mutts who sat at attention at his eyes on them, the female giving a soft growl and bark that made Ken perk up.
"Yeah, I can, she said she doesn't like you or you're smell" turning to Phil with a snort, the male spoke with Ken turning to him in alarm.
"Him on the other hand… is speaking gibberish, I can only make out a "evil man, released us, to meat house". Everything else is just snarling and growling" turning to them, Phil spoke cautiously as the female's head followed his movements.
"Right, well, since you've got this covered I'll just let myself out" watching Phil leave hurriedly, the female went to chase if not for Ken to hold a hand out to her, making the female chuff at him as it relaxed, turning to Gwen who had approached cautiously, seeing the child flinch, she merely leaned her head to Gwen who gave her fur a pat.
"So soft" getting a delighted growl from the female, the male set himself down to rest, a long tongue hanging from it's mouth.
"Well, I'll see what I can do, don't really know if some of my old contacts are still on the job" nodding to Max, Ken spoke to the two Vulpimancer's who relaxed.
"You'll be running on you're homeworld soon, just behave until then" seeing them bow their heads, Ken nodded in return before he exploded in a green flash, turning back to his human form with the Vulpimancer's perking up.
"Huh, it didn't take three hours this time?" moving to speak, the female tackled him to the ground, making Ken's eyes widen in fear until his face was covered by Vulpimancer's saliva, the female showing her appreciation of his mercy, pushing her off, Ken's entire upper body was covered in saliva.
"OOOOH, YUCK!" flicking his arms of spit, the female gave a happy sound as he climbed up.
Looking at the two, Ken whipped his arms once more.
Stepping out of the bathroom with a towel on his shoulder's Ken in a pair of black jeans and shoes stepped out of the public showers , wiping his face once more, Ken gave a tired sigh.
"That sucked" was all he grouched as he ignored the many looks he got from those waiting for the showers, Ken stepped towards the Truck and trailer where various tourists took pictures of, due to Ken having painted graffiti on the side with the name Watchdogs on the side beneath the insignia of the favored game series.
And seeing the Rust Bucket parked ahead of it in front of a hotel, 2B in a simple set of bright blue jeans and a white button shirt, stood at a window where TV's sat with a news report of yesterdays events, the android staring intently.
Until Ken stepped to her left, making he tense for a fight until she relaxed at seeing Ken.
"So, how are you and 9's settling in?" seeing her sag her shoulders, the battle based android spoke.
"We're… adjusting, 9S faster than I, unfortunately" giving her a look, Ken nodded in understanding.
"I get what you mean, you've come from a war torn world to a thriving one, it's no doubt hard to get used to" seeing her nod, Ken nodded in return.
"Though I have to ask… what about this world is you're favourite thing?" seeing her turn to him, she adopted a thoughtful look before she gave a rare, innocent smile.
"The pets, that's one thing I like about this world" turning to the right a man was seen walking his dog, a sheep dog by the fur pattern.
Smiling at the sight, 2B turned back to Ken who smiled at her.
"You?" perking up at the question aimed at him, Ken took a thoughtful look himself before he smiled.
"I'm an older brother" shrugging at his current companion, she shook her head with a hidden smile.
"You should smile more often, you look beautiful with one" seeing her flinch at his words, she turned to him with her blue eyes conveying embarrassment as he smiled at the sight of her cheeks red.
"Don't give me that look, you know it's true cause I've seen you using the mirror for practice" seeing her cheeks redden further with a deer in the headlights stare, Ken went to say more before he spotted Max leaving the hotel Phil was in before heading to the Rust Bucket and leave, making Ken frown as Phil followed afterward in his own ride.
Seeing this Ken and 2B shared a look before Ken raised the Omnitrix while stepping to the truck.
"Make sure Ben and Gwen are ok" stopping suddenly as he spoke, Ken turned after the Rust Bucket with alarm.
"Kevin!" rushing off in the form of Hermes, he left his team to wait for Ben and Gwen, not noticing 2B grabbing onto him before he sped off.
Stepping out of the Rust Bucket with a confused Kevin behind him, Max stepped towards the entrance with the Osmosian following.
"So what are we looking for, exactly?" following Max inside the now empty facility, Max spoke with a frown.
"Just checking to make sure my suspicions aren't right, but if they are, than we have a problem" moving through draws and containment units for the objective, Max's brow furrowed further as Kevin started at the other end of the wall of containment cells.
When they finally regrouped upon looking through the draws, Kevin turned to Max.
"Looking for something?" turning to the voice, Kevin reached behind him to coat himself in Metal, standing between Max and Phil, Phil gave a raised eyebrow.
"An Osmosian, been a while and this one doesn't seem power hungry" seeing Kevin scowl at the jab of his species, Max spoke with growing concern.
"The Null Void Projector, so that's why those aliens looked so familiar" this deduction only made Phil Smile as he held the door gun (To me) up with a mischievous smile.
"You stole the Null Void Projector to release all those aliens we caught all those years ago" seeing Phil shrug, Kevin kept himself ready to move.
"You were always too smart for your own good, Max. but refusing to join me, now that was plain dumb"
"Why are you doing all this?" Phil merely shrugged.
"Job Security. I release an alien, then get some hotel manager, a mayor or whatever to pay me to catch it, easy money" standing firmly, Max spoke.
"I'm not going to let you do this"
"Yeah, I figured you might say that. Too bad, too. We would've made quite a team again" taking aim with the NVP Kevin tense dup as it fired a beam that stopped five feet from Phil with max and Kevin dodging to the sides, turning to the beam it opened up to release a clawed hand that was followed by a grotesque being with a green exoskeleton, clawed hands a maw of sharp teeth dripping with saliva with four arachnid based legs.
"Oh and don't worry about you're grandkids, especially that one with the Omnitrix" seeing Max turn to Phil with a steel gaze, Phil smiled.
"Oh don't give me that look, Old Partner… I may be old but I still stick to my info brokers, I'm sure he'd put it to good use as my partner" gesturing to the alien as it threw Kevin away to attack Max, the old man turned in horror at it's proximity.
Seeing the claw move down upon him, Max felt his heart beat as a large shape tackled the alien back with Phil's eyes widening as Ken threw the alien away.
The form of Fenrir glowing with rage with wisps of red and black energy swirling around his arms and eyes.
Letting out a roar unlike a Loboan, Phil's eyes widened as Ken stalked to his left, teeth bared, he stood protectively over Kevin who gave a groan, Max joining his side.
"Now hold on, Ken, right. This isn't what you think-" was as far as Phil got before the alien Ken had thrown came back with a vengeance, tackling Fenrir away from Max and Kevin, the two old men watched as Fenrir gave a roar as he lifted the alien by it's throat.
Roaring into it's face Fenrir slammed it to the ground. Making Phil stagger at the force used, his eyes widened in fear as Ken grabbed the Alien by the head and Pulled!
Showering the floor and his Black fur in a Dark green blood, Fenrir licked his muzzle of the blood before tossing the severed head of the alien aside to approach a now fear stricken Phil.
Moving to aim the NVP, it was snatched out of his hands by 2B who zoomed by, her battle attire in pristine condition along with her swords and blindfold.
Looking to the device in her right hand she held it to Max who took it carefully.
Leaving a horrified Phil with Fenrir who leaned down to Phil's eye level, his hot breath making Phil pale before a clawed hand snatched him off the ground, Fenrir's rage at it's peak.
Seeing Phil struggle to speak due to the grip on his windpipe, 2B approached with Max and Kevin.
"Well, Phil. I wish things didn't end like this… you were a good partner" turning his eyes to max, he held up a cube with his eyes widening.
"Max… wait…!" seeing max toss the cube on the ground, Ken threw Phil onto the prison cube as it expanded, sooner shrinking with Phil imprisoned inside.
Seeing the cube now in Max's palm, Fenrir gave a victorious howl, his glowing tattoo's making Max frown before his eyes widened, calming himself, he smiled at Ken who gave a cheer as he returned to his human form, 2B smiling gently at this sight, following them out, Max's thoughts moved to his past once more.
