Bunny Hop
Stop and say to yourself that you are truly the same form as before
Take a look into a mirror that goes beyond that
For physical appearances don't always meet the need of others
Some have adjusted to theirs
While others deteriorate into stone figures from deception
Look at me
Smile at me
Talk to me
Just treat me with dignity
I do not laugh or show what you call emotion
My face is been made of stone since I came to this world
Look around…do people look happy…or confused
It's true I tried to convince them they were the same as me
Over time they grew apart from me, and I was left alone
I may look disemboweled on the outside
Inside is a rabbit waiting to hop free
My giant foot steps will lead the way
To a world unlike any other
Do not persuade me to join you
For I am perfectly capable of deciding when the time is right
My brothers and sisters will come for help
And I will point to the mirror
It is an immortal object that no one dares to go near
If you look into it, you see someone who belonged to you years ago
We have destroyed all the mirrors in the land
No one wants to look at themselves
We believe we are all the same
The drought has prevented any water from showing ungodly reflections
As I sit here looking into the maroon sun
All I can think about is the princess
I know I had a chance to save her
A hero is a hero is a hero…
A lost and confused person is a burden to everyone
And surely you understand why I can't leave my home
So be off…the sun is about to rise
Though the clouds still cover it like mist
My time for redemption is short…
Stop by again and I will share with you the beginning…
