Descend into Darkness - Episode One:
-Ascension of the Dimensional Goddess-
A Lacus Clyne story where she embraces her darkest traits, her darkest thoughts and her darkest emotions.
Prologue - 50.000 points, has ship and is willing to carry mobile suits!
50.000 points, Basic version of the Strike. One ship called Carry Base, from the Universal Century Jupiter.
One Phoenix Zero, Two Tornado Gundams. A crew I have no idea who they even are, and a Goddess happily sending me on some inter-dimensional mission? What 50.000 points?
Lacus was on a civilian cruiser on the way to the ruined colony of Junius 7, when Alliance forces attacked.
There was a flash of light and a ripple effect in space, then she saw a Goddess partly there and partly not.
A voice in her head told her that she was chosen as the Master of this time and space, that voice seemed to come from the Goddess.
So there she was, aboard the Carry Base. She had to do something about that name, and that ugly brown color of its hull. When she arrived, she was inside a mobile suit. One which she exited into the hangar reserved for the Master, at least she had her private hangar. She was met by two men and a woman, her fellow pilots as they all claimed to be at least. Touring the ship with those three, she noticed that the ship was nearly totally automated. She was introduced to the Captain, some old man. The Helmsman and Weapons Officer, the Mechanic and Communications Officer. And that was the entire crew, eight people and herself.
Then she went to the mess hall for food, and got to know the three girls on the ship. Just as she was about to speak to them, the Goddess appeared once again. "You have 50.000 points, use them wisely my Chosen One!" And here we are.
Lacus asked "What are those points for?" and the Goddess answered "Resource Points are used to obtain almost anything from the dimensional rifts, your personal computer in your quarters has all the information you might require. You can access the store from there, and your purchases will be transported into the cargo bay of this ship."
Lacus went to her quarters, and thought about this crew. Maybe she could alter it or even the ship itself? As she accessed her computer, she sold the ship and everything in it. That got her a hefty 300.000 points, but now she needed to replace the ship, crew and mobile suits. She started browsing the list for ships, and soon she saw a Nazca. It cost too much, so how about a Laurasia? The Nazca was half price, as she was from the same dimension and time as the ship. But still, it would banrkrupt her with a price tag of 200.000 points.
The Laurasia cost only 100.000 points, and was way better than the Carry Base. The problem was that The Laurasia could not operate within Atmosphere, so she would need something for that as well. There was one land ship ZAFT had designed for desert warfare, and the cost was 40.000 points after halving the price tag.
So she was left with 160.000 points now, and then the mobile suits!
Ginns cost 15.000, while Astrays cost 16.000? Her own Basic Strike cost 20.000, and a BuCue cost 13.000.
She had six places for mobile suits and her personal hangar that could have even a shuttle within. Lacus thought hard about this, and remembered that the land battleship could carry four MS and her Master MS. So she needed to buy 10 MS, and after considering all the info about them she settled on 10 Ginns. She was now at 10.000 points and lacking a crew for both space and land ships, not to mention the pilots for the ten brand new MS!
"Your first mission is to save Amuro Ray" Said the Goddess to Lacus, so Lacus had no choice but to use her land ship as it was better than a MS any day.
Amuro was about to shoot the incoming Zaku, when a strange ship appeared to his right. The ship shot half of the torso of the Zaku he was about to shoot with his head vulcans, so he shot the already damaged Zaku.
As the Zaku exploded, something appeared in front if him, and to his back: Another Gundam in front, and some strange MS to his back.
"New Zeon models?" He said out loud, forgetting that nobody else could hear him unless he used coms or speakers. The other Gundam flew past him and shot the leading MS, while the ship shot a missile barrage at the same MS. Amuro grabbed a rifle and a shield from the nearby truck, and moved to assist. The enemy MS exploded, and the three other MS simply stopped working. Amuro was baffled as the ship scooped the three MS into its cargo bay, while the other Gundam pilot established communications with him.
A bit further away Zeon Zakus were having a hard time fighting these strange new and powerful MS that appeared from a ripple in thin air, out of the seven Zakus only five remained. And even then, they were running away.
Amuro saw three new MS fighting the Zeon Zakus, He raised his beam rifle and shot a zaku in the torso. Flit had told him his name and that he was here to help, but what about the ship?
Flit charged the three MS while the ship and Amuro made short work of the remaining Zakus, Flit shot one and then hit the same MS with a beam saber hidden behind his shield. Only two MS remained, as backpack winged Zeon?
MS appeared in front of him led by a red Gundam. Behind him, the colony hill exploded and a Ship flew through it led by another Gundam. [Fall back to me] Said a female voice from the first ship, so both Flit and Amuro did so.
The new ship and its Gundam charged the red Gundam and his Zeon? allies, its cannons shot 2 MS while the sword of the Gundam cleaved another in half. It was then that Flit's IFF turned red, as did the new ship and its Gundam. The only ally Amuro had, was the first ship. [Flit! why?] he tried to call Flit, but his Gundam refused any contacts. With no other options, Amuro landed on the ship.
Flit, the new ship and its Gundam were one side, the 3 Ginns and the red Gundam were another. The two sides fought each other while Amuro did exit his Gundam, and the same voice as before told him through the hangar's speakers [use anything you want to repair your mobile suit].
One of the last Stories I managed to publish before the end of the year, I hope it is not too confusing to my readers.
G Gundam Generations Overworld is the game that I mixed with Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed, yet with her choices taking a much darker path than in the Anime. Just as with Empress of Zaft, and Loveseed: This Lacus is a bit different from what once would assume her to be.
