Don't fear the Reaper

It had been a good five weeks since leaving Gotham, though it had been an awkward moment with Ken having to explain what he did to Max, he was just glad Ben was back on his feet, though a bit traumatized, he was just glad Ben was safe.

The morning after though is what showed Ken's efforts, with people on the streets cheering as news of the Joker's death spread like wildfire, and it all came down to Ken who discreetly smiled as he found Harley Quinn beating a Joker like piñata.

But back to the present, the group found themselves in a park, with Ken lazing in a fold out chair, Venessa on his lap watching a video on his phone, Aranea was beside Ahri and Angela as they prepped the table for food, Max was beside Genji and Hanzo while normal food cooked, Ken merely smiled at the calming atmosphere until Ben, Gwen and Kevin approached with worry on their faces.

"Ken, a Kid is stuck in the tree!" turning to Gwen, Ken turned to Venessa while tapping her knees, making her turn with Ken smiling.

"I gotta get this, I'll be right back" getting a nod, the young alien climbed off to be with her mother, allowing Ken to follow.

Sooner finding himself at a very familiar tree, and a kid with a green hoodie on.

Narrowing his eyes, Ken took on the form of wolf, floating up to the "Child", Ken stared at the shaking figure before he spoke with his arms crossed.

"For a dream, this is far too lucid" seeing the child stop shaking in fear, a dark sinister chuckle echoed as he turned to show a lone purple eye, a twisted grin on his face.

"You were too smart for your own good, Tennyson" watching the child melt into a ghostly figure, Ken prepared for a fight if not to find himself human again, staring in alarm and Spectre advanced towards him as he began to float in a void of black.

"But you were always easy to read, read like an open book showing what scares you most" seeing Spectre reach for his face, Ken blinked as a hand grabbed Spectre by his hands firmly.

"You should have died years ago" turning to his right in alarm and shock, the form of Reaper beside him made Spectre roar in rage before being sucker punched into a Bright green cage, his arms reaching out to them while Ken stared at Reaper in shock, even more so when other figures formed in the background.

"What?" seeing Wraith turn to him, he spoke.

"You'll learn in time, time to wake up though" seeing Wraith reach for his face, Ken found himself blinking his eyes as the night sky shown above him, Aranea and Angela under his sleeping bag, the tent set up with an open roof covered by a see through plastic covering, Ken looked down to his current sleep mates to see the other girls of his supposed harem lazing about on their own beds, 2B hugging Kai'Sa in her sleep. Ken sighed while climbing out of his swag carefully.

Stepping out to see the kids tent, Ken could see Ben being hugged by a snoozing Venessa, Ken smiled at the sight before he found a seat near the fire.

Looking at the softly glowing pile of embers, movement to Ken's right made him turn to nearly jump at the sight of a Ghostly Wraith sitting in place, his skull mask also staring into the embers. Turning to Ken who blinked, the apparition gave a firm nod before fading away, leaving Ken sitting in silence before he sighed while rubbing his eyes.

"Hey" turning to the voice behind him, Ken found himself staring at Evelyn who smiled gently at his own smile.

"Hey yourself" moving to sit beside him in her own winter pyjama's, Ken wrapped his left arm around the demoness who leaned into his nice warm chest.

"Couldn't sleep?" shaking his head, Ken spoke.

"Had a little nightmare" feeling Evelyn stir in his embrace, the demoness looked up to him with her eyes glowing in the dark, though in her eyes Ken could see they radiated love and care for him.

"Is it Spectre?" sighing while leaning his head on hers, Ken nodded.

"And wraith too, except he was fighting Spectre, like they had an old grudge" feeling Evelyn stir once more, she spoke with certainty.

"From what I can remember, Ectonurite's and Corvusians had a deep respect and rivalry with each other, it got worse when the Ectonurite, Zs'Skayr took control of the army, when the Corvusians leader, Covrax, rose to stop him, the two have been in a deadly debate until Zs'Skayr vanished alongside Covrax" staring at Evelyn with a frown, Ken looked to where he saw the apparition of Wraith before he held Evelyn firmly.

Kissing her head which made her smile gently before she climbed onto his lap, her hands on Ken's shoulders, leaving them staring into each others eyes before Evelyn gave him a soft kiss on his lips.

Making Ken caress Evelyn's cheeks before they fell backwards, making the Demoness giggle while Ken groaned.

"And recently, Bancroft Academy was awarded the prestigious solid gold trophy for best school on the East states" staring in loathing at the arrogant student acting tour guide for the school gwen was attempting to get into, Ken ran a hand through his hair as Aranea stood beside him with her arms crossed, an unamused look on her human disguise.

"Well, I have a 4.2 GPA, I'm president of the computer club, treasurer of the science society, Volunteer of several local charities and I'm a member of my schools jujitsu team" smiling at Gwen's enthusiasm, the tour guide spoke with a lot of Sarcasm.

"How nice of you" glaring at the stuck up brat, Ken inhaled before he froze at hearing a dark raspy laugh behind his left ear, turning around with a frown, the action had gained the attention of Aranea who frowned.

"Ken, you ok?" seeing him not hearing her, she tapped his back with Ken snapping towards her with a flinch, making Aranea stare at Ken in alarm as his eyes were a different colour, his left being a blood red while the other was an eery pink.

"Ken, are you ok?" seeing him look around once more after his eyes melted back to their calming brown, ken rubbed his eyes before looking to Aranea tiredly.

"I don't know" frowning in worry as they moved on with the tour, Ken kept looking over his shoulder, it had gotten less intense when they entered the science lab, which left Ken looking in wonder, Ben was beside Kevin who had began to toy with two test tubes, pouring them together he began to gulp as the mixture began to bubble, tossing it under a table he and Ben rushed to Ken's side before a soft pop was heard, making all but the tour guide frown as an odour filled the room… oddly smelling of raspberry and vanilla.

Giving Kevin a look, the Osmosian smiled sheepishly with a weak shrug.

Following the guide once more to get away from the growing scent, the girl was about to continue before the sound of an explosion echoed over the campus.

Making Ken groan at hearing a cackle.

"I'll be right back" moving out of sight while dialing the Omnitrix, Ken selected Wolf, only to take the form of Spectre.

Looking at his hands, Ken glared with his lone eye before slapping the Omnitrix badge on his torso now taking the form of Wraith who flew towards the commotion.

Peeking his "Eyes" through a vent, the sight of Thumbskull and Acid breath trashing the gym with a new guy crouched on the seats used for Basketball games, the man crouched in a jumpsuit with an odd looking helmet, looking like a dome over his head with two oval shaped vents open to allow sight, his mouth was exposed to show rotten teeth that looked sharp, on his left arm was the name HY3NA in bold letters, though he was suspected to be alone until two more men came into sight on all fours, all three yipping with laughter as Thumbskull tossing a bench with a laugh.

"Be sure to get the trophy you three!" turning to Acid Breath as he melted a casing, Ken saw enough as he flowed out of the vent, landing behind Acid Breath quietly, the alarming howl from HY3NA made the clown turn to Ken who glared in silence, making Acid Breath yell in alarm as Wraith brought out two shotguns, aiming he fired one at one of the three Hyena's, making blood and brain splatter on the seatings, HY3NA paid his death no mind as he shook himself rapidly before another one popped out, replacing the dead crazy with Ken tilting his head at the sight.

Ignoring Acid Breath crawling away, Wraith turned to HY3NA who grinned wickedly as seven more clones surrounded him.

"KILLLLLL!" watching the small horde approach Wraith, the Corvusian took a stance as smoke rose from his being, his eyes glowing blood red as he aimed.

"Death Comes!" what followed was a mass of blood rising from gunshots as Wraith became a blur of smoke and bullets glowing red hot, with HY3NA laughing as he continued to clone himself until his head snapped to the doors to see Aranea rush in with the celestials who stopped at the sight with Wraith roaring as he darkened the gym with smoke, making HY3NA turn to see his head glaring at him before he vanished in the smoke, the sun shining through the windows failing to help.

Crawling down the stairs with a snarl, Thumbskull stood stock still in terror at hearing a raspy laugh behind him before the presence faded away. rising from the ground behind HY3NA, Wraith took aim before he convulsed in agony, his left eye stretching outward with a purple glow. Snapping the shadows back into his being, Wraith held his head in agony as he convulsed again with a hint of Spectres form rising from his back.

"I wont be trapped, ANYMOOOOOOORE!" giving a yell of agony as a figure flew out of Wraith's back, Aranea zoomed to his side before returning to the others, Acid Breath being knocked out by Ahri, the others stopped frozen as Spectre hovered in the air, the sight making Aranea turn to Ken who looked up weakly before his eyes glowed with a snarl.

Gently moving away from Aranea, Wraith spoke.

"So you finally got out, Zs'Skayr" seeing the Ectonurite snap it's lone eye at Wraith, the alien hissed in rage.

"And so have you, Covrax" moving to the ground level with the two circling each other, Gwen spoke in confusion.

"Wait, what, why are their two of Ken?" the one to answer was Aranea who stared in fear.

"Those aren't Ken" hearing her, Wraith pointed to the door with his voice echoing.

"Get into the sun light he won't be able to possess you in daylight!" hearing that, Aranea grabbed Gwen before they all began to file out, taking the advice of the alien possessing Ken's body, allowing the two old rivals to themselves.

"Ready to settle this grudge?" taking a stance, Zs'Skayr hissed before flying at Wraith who returned the strike with his form taking on a smoke like aura, slamming into the Ectonurite, the Circus freaks fled with HY3NA latching onto Thumbskulls back.

"When I kill you, I can finally continue with my conquest!" flipping onto the floor with Spectre pinning Wraith to the floor, the Corvusian phased through the Ectonurite before putting him in a headlock, followed by Covrax slamming Zs'Skayr into the floor, making the Ectonurite roar in rage, a swarm of black and white tentacles slithering over Covrax who stood with effort as a tentacle wrapped tightly around his neck, forcing him to watch Zs'Skayr's skin to rot away to show his true form, showing new claws ready to slash Covrax, the Corvusian sunk into the ground in time to avoid the slash aimed for his throat, leaving Zs'Skayr looking around as Covrax rose up behind him, a shotgun aimed at Zs'Skayr's back.

"We both know you will fail, old friend"
