On the road again
Stepping down the stairs of Tony's Malibu home with Aranea following, Pepper Potts frowned at hearing music unlike Tony playing from the garage, Ken having come over after Tony's Iron Man confession, Ken had came to that scene in his own armour, startling the reporters as he stood beside Tony.
Though when they returned The duo had been down stairs for hours.
And now Pepper was hearing another type of music with Aranea sighing at obviously recognizing the music.
"I know that music" turning to Aranea for clarification, the Kineceleran spoke with a smile
"Ken listens to this whenever he gets an idea that he invents later on" following after the princess, the two stopped at seeing Tony standing beside Ken and a table where a holographic helmet sat rotating slowly.
"So, this Helmet is called Recon?" nodding as the Hologram was mock grabbed by Ken, he set it over his head as an example.
"Yes, because unlike normal helmets without a HUD, this helmet can zoom in to act as a sniper scope connected wirelessly, allowing for more accuracy" taking the holographic helmet off, Tony spoke in awe.
"That's genius" smiling as he moved the Hologram aside, it showed an assault rifle from Halo.
"I have my ways of being smart" it was this moment Aranea cleared her throat, making the two males turn to both her and pepper who was smiling at Tony.
"We're ready to hit the road, Ken" perking up at that while turning to a clock, Ken jumped as he began to pack up his things, leaving Tony with a Hard drive, confusing the billionaire as he fumbled with the drive until his shoulder was grabbed by Ken who gave a reassuring smile.
"I'll be seeing you Tony" moving to Aranea's side as they began to leave, ken turned to pepper with a smile.
"Take care of him, alright?" getting a snort from her, the two left with Tony looking at the Hard drive in his hand.
Plugging it in after they left, Pepper stepped to his side… until her eyes widened in awe at the sight of a Mech much larger stood before them named Gypsy Danger
Giving a breath of shock, Tony was than showed various other Mech's.
One standing out looking like his armor but had a Dome like helmet.
"Hire that kid, as soon as a resume pops up in email" turning to Pepper with a wide smile.
Stepping into the trailer of the Truck, Max sounded the Rust Bucket's horn before they began to clear out of the public camp ground, their neighbor from the few nights before waving them good bye.
"So, where to Max?" resting beside Hanzo while holding the Radio, Max's voice came through.
"back to Mount Rushmore, a proper visit this time" smiling with a weak chuckle, Ken looked to the date, today circled with the word "Max's Birthday" following that was a list sticky taped to the calender.
"Did we get all the supplies?" turning to hanzo as they drove behind the RV, the Archer nodded.
"Yes, You owe me thirty" snorting with a following laugh, Hanzo chuckled with Ken.
When they finally arrived beside a lake, Ken couldn't stop the feeling in his stomach at the familiar sight, Ben and Gwen were the first things that made him frown at them due to the two being extra chummy, Kevin was the only one out of the loop.
Moving to the kids side as they set up camp, Ken sat beside Kevin who turned to him.
"What's new little man?" turning to Kevin as he shrugged towards Ben and Gwen as they followed Max, Ken frowned at them before leaning down to Kevin's ear.
"It's Max's birthday today, They most likely forgot I was buying the stuff" leaning up he came back down with a grin.
"Just watch as soon as Max goes to get firewood they'll start arguing" it was after a while that Max had finally gone to do said chore, Aranea following with 9S to help, the other Celestials were busy setting up a shade.
Raising his right hand counting down, the moment his last finger went down did the two turn and Yell.
"This is all you're fault!" getting a laugh from Kevin after he spat out his drink at the perfect timing, Ken smiled smugly, watching the two argue.
"You were supposed to get Grandpa his cake while I got the bloomers" standing up with a grin, Ken spoke loud to the duo.
"Before you go chewing out Ben's ear, I got the cake and Party supplies, even real food to eat" smiling as Gwen blushed, Ben gave a sigh of relief as they moved to help set up the party… if not for a portal to open between them.
Stepping before Ben and Gwen, Ken stared at the portal resembling a Charm of Bazel, the other celestials turning to the sight in alarm, Hanzo brought up his Bow with Genji holding his Katana.
The group went to surround the portal until a figure flew out at high speeds, forcing Ken onto his back, Ken looked at the obviously female figure as she dived for Gwen.
Seeing this, Ken flashed into Hermes as Gwen was taken through the portal, following them not a second late as the Portal closed behind him.
Seeing Gwen struggling in the woman's grasp, she was snapped out of her focus as Gwen vanished from her grasp and sight. Turning she stared at Ken as he held Gwen protectively.
"Gwen, you ok?" turning to his little cousin, the two failed to notice their surroundings.
"I'm ok" turning back to the woman as she hovered in place, it was this moment Ken looked at the very advanced shopping district, with humans and aliens mingling with one another with no sign of violence in sight.
"Where are we?" his question was answered as Gwen tugged his tail for his attention, turning to her he followed her sight to a Large statue… of Ben 10k…
Oh now he remembers!
"Uh, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we got dragged into an alternate timeline?" turning to gwen who stared dumbfounded, Ken stood up straight as a voice spoke from above.
"Hey Ben, Lookin good" staring at a girl on a hoverboard, she blew Ken a kiss before riding off, leaving Ken blinking before another voice spoke.
"Hey, Ben 10K, keep up the awesome Job!" watching the kid fly off in rocket boots, Ken turned back to the statue.
"Hero of heroes, now that's an ego stroker if I've ever seen one" turning to Gwen as the woman hovered looking over an intricate summoning circle in worry, the trio turned back to the statue as it was destroyed, dashing away as debris narrowly missed Gwen by inches.
"Ok, someone doesn't like Ben in this time" turning back to the dust, a large figure stepped out, showing itself to be a human, rhino armadillo hybrid.
"Hey, Tennyson, long time no see!" staring at the human rhino, Ken snorted as he slapped the dial on his chest, blinding those watching. Only to confuse them as they stared at a seemingly unknown alien, but to Ken, he grinned as he clenched his hands as Ken stood in the form of Wraith, only his look resembled more of a Nevermore than it did when Covrax was within the Omnitrix.
Staring at the rhino, it spoke in shock.
"You never turned into this form before!" teleporting behind the rhino, Ken spoke with a hiss while the Rhino looked around in alarm.
"I'm not Ben" turning to Ken in alarm, the rhino was sent flying by two point blank shots of Ken's shotguns. Sending it tumbling further, it slid on all fours, it's horn which was hollow due to being cybernetic, glowed blue before Ken ducked under a beam, rushing forward while avoiding every beam fired at him, Ken became a smoke cloud that flew above the rhino who looked up in alarm as Ken had his guns aimed.
"Boom!" firing into the rhino's horn, the built up energy exploded outward with Ken flying back, a green flash following him as he stood in his human form, his armor quickly forming to hide his Identity, he stared at the groaning rhino as he lay on it's back.
Approaching the downed animal, Ken looked it over with a frown.
"Huh, So Animo is an asshole in this timeline too" shrugging as he brought out his Hand-cannon, Ken much to the shock of those watching aimed at the mutant rhino's neck.
"Oh well, you had a good run" cocking the hammer back, the sound of rushing winds heading towards him made Ken duck a second before a tail of a Kineceleran missed him.
Rolling onto his knees while aiming, Ken stared at the Kineceleran in silence before holstering his weapon.
"I was putting the thing out of it's misery"
"Who are you?" turning to look over the buildings, Ken spoke.
"Kenneth Tennyson, who the fuck are you?" staring at Ben 10 k for a moment, he spoke to the woman who had gasped at Ken's words.
"Send them back, now" turning to the woman, she lowered her hood to show a frown.
"You could at least say please" turning back to ben 10 K, Ken spoke.
"Am I to guess you're what my little brother would grow into if he got the Omnitrix instead?" this made them both stop and stare at him.
"Little brother, I'm an only child" clicking his tongue as Gwen moved to his side, Ken spoke.
"Than something went wrong" giving the older Gwen a look, she looked away with a wince.
Turning to Ben's XLR8, Ken looked over the look before flashing into his full black form, looking himself over, he rode beside Ben to look at the difference in clothing.
"What are you doing?" looking up to his, Basically little brother, ken spoke.
"Looking for idea's on what to get Aranea and Venessa for their birthdays, maybe get a baby one in case" stepping back form Ben 10K, the hero spoke with confusion.
"Who?"
"My girlfriend and daughter, they're Kineceleran's" staring at Ken in silence, he shrugged.
"What, I can have an alien girlfriend" turning to future Gwen, future Ben spoke.
"Please send them back?" seeing this, Gwendolyn spoke.
"Hmm, maybe, I mean it took me a while to get the spell working even with my screw up, I don't even know what I did wrong, so I'll need a few days to study what I did by mistake" seeing where she was going with this line of words, Ken wrapped Ben 10K in a one armed hug.
"And I get to embarrass my brothers alternate timeline!" shoving Ken off of him, Ben spoke.
"I don't have time for this, Figure out what you did and send them back, I gotta check on sector 15-D" with that, he sped off, leaving Ken flashing back to his human form, staring after Ben's future self he aimed his hand-cannon behind him at hearing a groan, firing once with silence following, he ignored the shocked looks from future Gwen and the bystanders.
"So, what's in sector 15-D?"
"It's where we store all known alien DNA" nodding in understanding, Ken went to follow if not for a familiar RV to ride on sight.
Making Ken freeze up as pain spread from his chest.
"I'm gonna be a complete stranger to my own grandfather, aren't I?" turning to Gwendolyn as she smiled apologetically.
"Sorry" sighing as he ran a hand over his helmet, the door opened to show Max Tennyson, sporting the same outfit, only he had a full beard… and a cybernetic arm.
His breath hitching in his throat, Gwen spoke to Max as his Gwen ran up to a familiar face.
"Grandpa!" running to give the man a hug, he turned to Ken in confusion.
"This one I recognise, but, who are you?" inhaling slowly, ken reached for his helmet to take it off.
"I'm you're supposedly fourth grandkid, Max" smiling sadly as Max stared at him in surprise, he turned to Gwendolyn who winced.
"I made a mistake"
Turning back to Ken, Max swallowed slightly before he smiled while standing up, approaching Ken he held his flesh hand to shake.
"I'll be sure to enjoy you're company while you're here" seeing Ken move to shake the hand, he instead engulfed Max in a hug, making the man laugh heartily while returning the hug.
"You definitely have you're moms hugs" stepping back while wiping his eyes, Ken spoke after one sniffle.
"Good I've had a shit tonne of Practices" smiling at Max, they went to enter the Rust Bucket, if not for another figure to step out, making Ken freeze up again as his eyes stared in shock.
"Max, what has Gwen done this time?"
"Verdona… You're not gonna believe who I just met"
