Super hero buddies… *Pukes!*
Stepping off of her bed within the truck as it drove on the Highway, Venessa held an Iphone in her claws carefully. Ducking under Akali's outstretched leg as she stretched, the Loboan now named Lupa, sat with her full attention set on the TV while Genji played a FPS game, she zoomed past the screen in search of her father figure.
Finding him in the driver seat beside her mother, Venessa rolled beside Aranea's lap, making her look down to her with a smile.
"What is it sweety?" instead of saying a word while looking to Ken, she showed the screen of her phone to her mother… showing Aranea a funny sight.
Watching the screen as a cartoon playground faded into view, the children were playing all joyful and happy, until the music took on a intense tone, because what happened next made her stifle a laugh with Venessa giggling.
"Who will protect us from the nefarious deeds of the evil doom fiends" smiling at the Narrators voice with Ken giving a frown as he drove, the Narrator continued.
"Handy Buddy!" watching as a childish drawing of Four arms came onto the screen, he spoke with a scottish accent as the evil dude on screen threw bawling balls at Handy buddy.
"Ugh! You'll not be tossing me outside of the game anytime soon, Balling ball Bandit!" hearing a growing sound of snorts and stifled giggles from the trailer, the video continued.
"Oh no, is that what I think it is?" openly laughing at Ken's haunted look as he drove, Venessa spoke.
"I found them on youtube, seemed cool at the time but now's cringe worthy" sparing a glance at his surrogate daughter, Ken smirked.
"Dear lord, is this someone I pissed off insulting me indirectly?" hearing a laugh from Hope as the others were watching the kids show, Ken groaned before the radio came to life, reaching for it, Aranea beat him to it to speak.
"Max, what's up?"
"Problem, the Rust Bucket needs repairs, kevin found a problem with the engine" looking over the highway, Ken spoke while Aranea held the Radio to him.
"Hey Gramps, where are you guys, we lost you a mile down?"
"We're in Hollywood" looking to Aranea who smiled, Ken sagged in place.
"We'll be there soon" making Aranea set the radio back, she gave Ken a knowing smile alongside Venessa, moving to Speak Ken spoke with a raised hand.
"Not A Word" even though he spoke with annoyance, his eyes showed amusement as he shifted gears.
"Alright people, we're going to Hollywood" sounding the horn while speeding up, Hope smiled at Venessa who turned to her mother with a smile.
"Also, Venessa, what day is it today?" turning to Ken as he drove, Hope looked to the others as they quietly moved a small table between the Tv and the couch.
"Um, today is Tuesday… why?" smiling while shaking her head, Aranea spoke.
"No, what is today's date?" seeing the small Kineceleran look down in thought, her body slouching from the truck hitting a bump, she gasped while turning to her mother and Ken.
"It's December twenty five!" smiling while Ken reached to his left, he held a small box to her wrapped in decorated paper, allowing his surrogate daughter to take the present, she unwrapped it to show a movie… with several tickets.
Looking at the Tickets with widening eyes, Venessa turned to the trailer where the Celestials stood with a Cake on the table.
All smiling at her.
"Happy Birthday V!" staring at the sight before her, Venessa stared in silence while Aranea knelt down beside her, placing a kiss on her head.
"You didn't think Max went ahead for no reason, right?" turning to her mother with tears in her eyes, the young Kineceleran attacked her mother with a tight hug, making the two share a laugh, the sight making Ken smile softly.
When they finally got to Hollywood, it was an uphill battle to find a large enough parking lot that wont result in a ticket.
And so far, Ken had decided to go to Hollywood… with Venessa literally dragging a laughing Aranea to the gates for tourists.
Following quickly to keep up with the others, Ken smiled at the many studios… until he found the Super alien hero buddies rides.
"Oh god" staring at the guy in a Four arms suit… Ken looked to a Wolf suit as well… shaking his head while following after a giggling Venessa who stood beside an Apex actor.
Her human disguise resembling Ken's hair this time, smiling at the sight, Ken stepped to his surrogate daughter to pick her off the ground, setting her on his left shoulder.
"See Max anywhere Sweetie?" looking over the crowd as best he could, very tempted to go alien if not for Aranea to grab his arm to pull them to a chair and table, set up with party decorations.
With little Venessa gasping at the sight with a smile.
Seeing Max hold up a large box, Ken nodded to max as he set Venessa down.
"Happy Birthday Venessa!" seeing them all present, the girl smiled with a sniffle as she hugged each person, when Ken finally got a hug, Venessa held him a moment longer.
"Thank you dad" this in turn made Ken smile while picking her up.
"Anytime sweetie, anytime" kissing her head with the hug, Aranea sat down with a loving smile, a notable bump on her stomach.
Sitting down while eating the food with Ken saving his present for last, it was the one Max had when they arrived, from Ben he gave her a joint present from Gwen, showing a Shirt with Ken's helmet as a decal on the back, Kevin gave her a card set with Ken spitting a drink out at reading "Cards against Humanity" on the side, hilarious memories from that game, memories that Hope remembered as she too spat her drink out.
From Evelyn she got her a custom set of sunglasses like her own, while Akali got her, her own mask signed by Akali herself.
And Ahri… she got her a figurine of Ken in his human form, hell full with a Lancer.
That figurine making Ken mentally vow to pay whoever made that a fortune for the amount of detail put into it.
Kai'Sa Got her a dance mat which the two began to use as a test with the dancer dancing beside a Giggling Venessa and Gwen, Kevin sat beside Ken with a smile.
Hope had gotten her a book… of Norse Mythology much to Ken's amusement. Max had gotten a Gift card to the Mall where they met that midget hypnotist.
When it came to Hanzo and Genji, Hanzo had gotten her a practice knife, much to Aranea's hidden chagrin, Genji… he got her a "Sensible" gift…
Which was a Gaming system with a Large flatscreen TV.
And finally, Ken stood with his own gift for Venessa who stood waiting with a bright smile, one which Ken returned as he set the Box down.
"Alright, ready for the best Gift for today?" seeing his adopted daughter hop in place excitedly, Ken stomped on the box lightly, followed by a hum echoing from it, making Aranea's eyes widen in awe with recognition.
Stepping back as Venessa used her speed to unwrap the box and paper, her eyes stared in alarm and shock as a hover board hovered in place, only it had a decal of Aranea in her true form posing with her back to the viewer.
Turning to her mother who smiled while people in the park stopped and stared at the board.
Turning back to her new hoverboard, Ken knelt down to help her balance on it due to her "feet".
"Alright, before we let you go, we're gonna make sure you have all the safety measures down" seeing her nod excitedly, Ken smiled while bringing up an instruction manual.
"Alright to break or slow down, the front button which is where you're foot is, has a pressure system, all you have to do to slow down is take you're foot off, to the speed up, the back button you only need to keep the foot down and on the left side is a cord with a bracelet you put on in case you nearly fall off, now I want you to put that on every time you use this alright?" getting an understanding nod from Venessa, Ben stared at the board in awe as the Girl balanced herself carefully, putting her foot down to go forward, she moved forward slowly with more by standers watching her.
Leaning to turn to the left, the board did so with Venessa laughing excitedly as Aranea stood and leaned into Ken's left arm, sharing a smile, Venessa was moving towards them before an explosion was heard from a ride.
Making Ken sigh while looking to a… oh no way.
"Kangaroo Commando, been a while since I've watched that show" moving to change out of sight, Loki stepped out of hiding to stare up to the Roller Coaster stuck on the railing.
Stepping closer, Ken crouched before throwing himself upward. Landing at the back of the Ride, another figure landed on said coaster. Looking at the new arrival, Ken spoke in excitement.
"Oh shit, Kangaroo Commando!" seeing the actor turn to him, the man himself blinked as Ken climbed on to free two kids.
"Big fan, Watched you're show as a kid!" hoisting the kids onto his back, the man was about to speak if not for the railing to lurch downward.
Staring to the side, Ken and Kangaroo shared a glance before they jumped off, the people below screaming in fright as Ken landed, setting the kids down he looked up to see the coaster about to fall.
Flashing green, Wolf took Loki's place as the coaster fell, until it's descent slowed down under Wolf's gravity power. Grunting at making it slow down, Kangaroo joined him to clear a landing zone. Setting it down, Ken gave a sigh as security arrived.
"Everyone alright!?" turning to the kids and adults who were on the ride, Aranea joined him with Venessa.
Seeing nods, Kangaroo approached with a nod.
"I appreciate the help , but I have to ask, are you the real deal?" snorting at the question, Ken nodded.
"Of course, I was passing by and saw the coaster" pointing up than down at the coaster, Ken continued.
"Plus I was hoping to join a good friends birthday" turning to Venessa, he lifted both feet off of the ground sit in the air, the wolf construct barking in greeting.
"Wolf says hello" getting a giggle from Venessa, Ken turned to Kangaroo Commando.
"And I meant it when I said I was a fan, Hell I still have a poster in my room" hearing Aranea snort, Kangaroo smiled slightly.
"Well to find out a hero is a big fan… actually makes me feel proud, thank you" nodding to the man, Ken shook his hand before he raised the hand with the crowd cheering, bowing to them, Wolf patted Abel North on the back.
"Could you also point me to where I can find a Tim Dean, I want to share some words with him" seeing Abel raise an eyebrow, Ken elaborated.
"I am flattered he made a show about me but I find it annoying at how inaccurate he made it to be, and I wish to add a few ideas" shrugging as Abel stared at him, the man spoke.
"Just find where all the SAHB is set up, he usually hangs around that area" nodding to Abel, Ken turned to Venessa with a wink before he began to fly off.
When he found the main attractions of the show, Ken flew over the crowd in search of Tim he found the man signing his name for kids.
And seeing the Line right now Ken landed with swag, nodding to a pair of kids who were eating Ice cream, Wolf stood in line with his alien's construct sitting beside him with a bark.
Making Ken look down to him with a raised eyebrow.
"You don't have to wait with me you know?" getting a whimper from the animal, Ken sighed.
"Alright, just keep up will you?" getting a bark from the spirit, they stepped forward with the line.
Shrugging as they began to gather a crowd, Wolf spoke to S-Wolf with a smile.
"By the way, where exactly do you end up when I change forms, it just occurred to me about that?" getting a chuff from the S-Wolf, Ken spoke, somehow understanding.
"You end up in a space like void?" getting a bark in response, Wolf hummed.
"Huh, that actually sounds cool yet terrifying"
Walking after the line, when it was Ken's turn for a signing, the man on the chair looked at him once before sitting back.
"Cool Cosplay" crossing his arms with a visible eyebrow raising, Ken shared a look with his construct companion who snorted.
"Thank you for the compliment but, I'm the real deal" slapping the dial of the Omnitrix, a green flash blinded the few, leaving Loki in Wolf's place, sitting down on the table, Tim Dean stared at Ken in shock and awe.
"Wai-yo-why, no wait, what can I do for you, sir?" shaking Tim's hand with a nod, Ken spoke.
"Just wanted to share some insight on you're show" seeing the man nod at attention, ken continued.
"Alright on a good start" sitting forward, Ken poked the table with his helmet staring at Tim Dean.
"I won't sugar coat it Tim, but I don't like what You've done with the show, I can respect it due to being for a younger Audience, but the one thing I don't agree with was you doing so without asking me, I mean all you would need is a Billboard asking to meet for a show idea, sure it sounds impossible but at least try" seeing the man gain a look on his face like he was just bitch slapped before shaking his head, sighing he spoke.
"What can we do than, I actually wouldn't mind hearing what you have for an idea" smiling at the man's easy cooperation, Ken brought out a pen and paper.
"Alright, here's what I got for ideas"
Returning to the party to see Venessa playing with his figurine, Ken walked up behind Aranea to hug her waist from behind, kissing her neck while her hand ran through his hair, Ken spoke to her ear.
"Thanks for posing for the artwork" planting another kiss to her neck, Aranea spoke.
"I thought you were pulling a titanic on me" snorting as he sat down to get a plate of food, Max spoke.
"Been a while since I've heard someone mention that ship" smiling at the family party, Ken looked to the scene with Venessa hugging him in his seat.
Looking down at her, the two shared a smile.
Looking up as Max held a camera, he turned to the others with Ben and Gwen moving to Venessa's side.
"Group photo everyone!" watching as most of the girls gathered around, Ken smiled as they all seemed to hover around him, hell Amelie and Lupa sat at his feet, with Amelie giving a purr as she set her right elbow on Ken's knee.
Genji stood with his arms crossed with a smirk, while Hanzo stood with a bow, though his small smile left most girls nearby swooning.
Smiling at the Camera, Ken held Aranea and Venessa in his arms, feeling at piece for the first time in years.
