Harry and Key go upstairs to their bedroom, arriving just in time to see the Dursleys' car swinging out of the drive and off up the road. Dedalus's top hat was visible between Aunt Petunia and Dudley in the backseat. The car turned right at the end of Privet Drive, its windows burned scarlet for a moment in the now setting sun, and then it was gone.

Harry picked up Hedwig's cage, his Firebolt, and his rucksack.

Key picked up Olivia's cage and her bag.

They gave their bedroom one last look.

"To think, this is really happening", said Key.

They come downstairs, where they put their stuff near the foot of the stairs.

The light was fading rapidly now, the hall full of shadows in the evening light.

It felt strange to stand here in the silence.

Key looks around the house.

Both of them think about, when they were alone while the Dursleys went out to enjoy themselves, the hours of solitude had been a rare treat: Pausing only to sneak something tasty from the fridge, enjoying silence, writing stories, play on Dudley's computer, or put television and flicked through channels.

They remembered how much fun they had back then, but instead of making them happy having flashbacks, it brought them sadness, like they were losing something important like a family member.

"After we leave we will never see this place again", said Key.

"Yeah, hey Key remember puked on this doormat after we saved him from the dementors?" Harry remembered.

"Yeah, I do", said Key.

"Last summer, such memories, Dumbledore came through this door", said Harry.

"Yeah, remember when we used to sleep under here, it was ridiculous, yet it feels so nostalgic", said Key.

"I'd forgotten how small it is", said Harry.

"My back didn't it?" Key remembered.

They looked around at the stacked shoes and umbrellas, remembering how they used to wake up at the underside of the staircase, which was more often than not adorned with a spider or two. Those had been the days before they had known about their true selves before Harry figured out what happened to his parents, why such strange things happened to him and Key.

But, Harry could still remember the dreams that had dogged him, even in those days: confused dreams involving flashes of green light and once — Uncle Vernon had nearly crashed when Harry had recounted it — a flying motorbike…

There was a sudden, deafening roar from somewhere nearby. Harry straightened up with a jerk and smacked the top of his head on the low door frame. Pausing only to employ a few of Uncle Vernon's choicest swear words, he staggered back into the kitchen, clutching his head and staring out of the window into the back garden.

Key also remembers sharing dreams with Harry, comforting him, and seeing her own dream of symbols.

The darkness seemed to be rippling, the air itself quivering. Then, one by one, figures began to pop into sight as their Disillusionment Charms lifted. Dominating the scene was Hagrid, wearing a helmet and goggles and sitting astride an enormous motorbike with a black sidecar attached. All around him other people were dismounting from brooms and, in two cases, skeletal, black winged horses.

Key and Harry are done remembering the past and smile at each other, then focus on the moment.

Key opens the door with Harry behind her.

Hermione immediately hugs Key and Harry.

Ron clapped Harry's back and shakes Key's hand.

Abigail is revealed among the darkness.

Key let's Hermione go and hugs Abigail.

"Are you ready?" Abigail asks Key, while facing her.

"I am, did you sense it?" Key asks Abigail, while facing her

"I did, I still can't believe it, she was such a wonderful person and teacher", said Abigail.

"Key! Key!" called Betty.

Key smiles and hugs Betty.

Devin appears along with Kai, Kevin, Roy, and the fae children.

"Mom, dad, Roy, what are all you doing here?" Key asks them.

"We came to see you, but we weren't expecting all of them", said Kai.

"Change of plans", growled Mad-Eye, who was holding two enormous, bulging sacks, and whose magical eye was spinning from darkening sky to house to garden with dizzying rapidity. "Let's get undercover before we talk you through it."

"Yeah, we aren't going to have enough time for that, Key, Kevin and I will be going on a mission to help the other faes that are defensively so, what happens Professor Walmore won't happen to them", Kai told Key.

"So, I won't see you", said Key.

"Of course you will, once the mission is over", said Kai."Mom take care of her".

"You know I will", said Abigail.

"Hey, don't underestimate me, I'm a strong girl", said Key.

"We know you are, but you can't work alone", said Kevin, once he gives Key a kiss on the forehead. "Especially not like times now".

"Promise, you will be the utmost careful", said Kai.

"I promise mom and dad, but you better promise the same, we barely have hang out as a family and I want us to have a family dinner after this mission", said Key, looking serious.

"Of course, I would love a family dinner, we promise, we will have a family dinner", said Kai, looking like she was about to cry.

Kai and Kevin hug Kai and pulls Abigail to the hug.

"See ya", said Kai.

Kai and Kevin walk to the fae children, then disappeared.

Betty reveals a bottle and gives it to Key.

"Your mom wanted me to give this to you", said Betty.

"Key, are you okay?" Devin asks Key.

"They will come back, and I will be ready, where's Makai?" Key asked, looking at Ron.

"Guess who?" Makai sang, while covering Key's eyes.

"Makai, seriously", said Key, with a smile.

"Sorry", said Makai, then let's go of Key's eyes.

"Enough chatter, let's get inside", said Mad-Eye.
