Note: For the sake of my timeline, some events have been pushed back or moved forward. Nothing too major.
Warning: No wait, just because he's pregnant doesn't mean that Nico doesn't have a BF. Cussing.
Chapter 5: Shie Hassaikai
Nico's POV.
It had been about a month since I'd talked to Aizawa. My morning sickness had passed, and as of the moment I had no signs that I was pregnant at all. I sighed, and got out of bed. I liked lying in bed with Tomura. I went to the bathroom, and turned on the shower. I undressed, and got in. the water was warm, and cascaded down my back. I looked at my middle. I was still flat as ever. Would I ever have a baby bump? Maybe since I was a guy it just took longer or looked different?
"Mind if I join you?" Shigaraki asked. I turned. I hadn't noticed that he'd come in.
"Not at all. The water's perfect." I said, moving to the back of the shower so he could get in. I was glad that he wanted too. Usually, he didn't want to even be near me if he didn't have his gloves on. Tomura shut the door behind him, and leaned against the wall.
"You're right. the water is really nice." He agreed. I smiled, and got some hair shampoo. I started massaging it into his hair.
"Close your eyes." I commanded, and rinsed his hair out. Then I grabbed some conditioner, and washed his hair with that.
"Nico," he whined.
"Nope. You don't wash your hair so I'm doing it for you." I stated, and scrubbed the conditioner into his scalp. Then I grabbed the body wash, and handed it to him.
"What? You don't want to do this one too?" he asked with a smirk. I went red.
"Tomura! Just wash yourself. Gods." I said, and turned around. I grabbed the shampoo for myself, and Tomura took it from me. "Hey!" I said, attempting to turn back around in the slightly cramped space in the shower. Tomura pushed me against the wall so I couldn't.
"Nope. You got to wash my hair; I get to wash yours." He decided. I sighed.
"Alright fine." I said, and closed my eyes.
After we finally finished our shower, I got out, and grabbed a towel. I handed the other one to Tomura.
"We have something today, but what is it? I forgot." I said, drying off.
"We have a meeting with the bastard who killed Magne. And this time, you're coming with me. I don't want to leave you alone, and I can protect you and our child." Tomura said, grabbing his towel carefully with four fingers, and drying off. I smiled, and leaned against him forcing him to stop.
"So, are we going to form an association with him? from what I hear, he's pretty powerful, and if he's on our side, he can protect me too." I thought out.
"That is the plan. And then, when the heroes attack, we're going to back stab him." Tomura grinned. I smiled too.
"Grand plan." I gave him a kiss, and walked out of the bathroom. I put on a pair of black slacks, and a black button up with long sleeves. I put on a blood red tie to complete the look.
Tomura came in from the bathroom, and looked me over.
"Damn Nico. You really do know how to dress nice." He said, putting on his own pants. I smirked, and did a twirl.
"Yep. When you're done, let's go!" I said, excited. Tomura rolled his eyes, and tied his own tie.
"Alright let's go." he said.
We left our house, and walked hand in hand, hoods up to the place of the Shie Hassaikai. Shigaraki knocked.
"State your name, and your business." I voice commanded.
"Tomura Shigaraki. I'm here to talk with Kai Chisaki." Tomura stated.
"Who's the other one?" the voice asked.
"My name is unimportant. I'm Tomura's right hand man." I told the voice.
"Very well. Enter." The door was pulled open, and we went in. A midget of a person came to lead us to Chisaki. I clutched Tomura's hand as we entered the room.
"Tomura Shigaraki, and your right-hand man. Welcome." A man with a mask, gloves, and a purple cloak stated.
"Hello." Tomura said, and sat on the couch. I sat next to him.
"Hello. Before we begin, who are you?" The man asked me. I sighed, and pulled my mask off my face.
"Nico di Angelo. you might have heard of me on the news." I said, looking him in the eyes.
"Ah, the missing UA student. So, you've joined the league?" he asked.
"Yes. I joined Shigaraki." I confirmed.
"So, you trust this boy?" The man who I guessed to be Chisaki asked.
"With my life." Shigaraki stated.
"Alright, let's begin."
Chisaki told us his grand plan. I was appalled. Eri had done no wrong, and yet he subjected her to this torture?! It made me sick! I kept my emotions well-hidden though.
"Will you join me?" he asked. I cocked my head to the side.
"What's in it for us?" I asked. "While we are a fairly well-known villain organization, what do you have to offer?" I asked.
"You would get all the benefits of my people, plus you'd get to reap the rewards of my success." He offered.
"That's rather tempting. But, what do you want in return? I know for a fact you wouldn't do this for free." I told him, a glint in my eye.
"Correct. You are rather bright for your age. I want some of your people. They have quirks that are beneficial to my organization. I want the blond girl, the man with the two-tone mask, and you; Nico." He stated.
"Well, Toga and Twice have their own free wills, so I can't talk for them, but I wouldn't be completely opposed to that." I said, looking at Tomura. He looked uncomfortable with the idea. "However, if you want me there is one thing you must know." I stated.
"Oh? Is there something about you I don't know?" he asked. that was creepy.
"Yes. I am currently unable to use my shadow traveling abilities on myself." I said, watching his expressions carefully.
"Why?" is all he asked.
"Because, I'm pregnant." I stated flatly. He jumped a little.
"What?" he asked, as if he didn't hear me.
"I am with child." I stated again. He gave me a confused look.
"Aren't you male?" he asked.
"Yes. I am. Doesn't change the fact that I'm pregnant. So, I can shadow travel others, just not myself." I told him. he nodded.
"So, I'm guessing you don't want to be in the line of fire."
"Correct. I want to stay as safe as possible, but I realize that in this world of heroes and villains, I can't just do nothing. So, I'd participate in your little group, and in return you keep me and my unborn child safe." I confirmed.
"Sounds like a deal. you can stay here while Shigaraki goes and gets the others." He told me. I nodded.
"Are you alright with that Tomura?" I asked. my boyfriend looked slightly uncomfortable.
"Fine. But if Nico has so much as a hair missing, I'm going to personally burn this place to the ground." Tomura growled. I smiled, and pressed my face to his arm.
"Don't worry. I'm sure that Chisaki isn't dumb enough to mess with me even if I am pregnant." I soothed.
"Alright. See you soon." Tomura stood, and left the room. I laid down on the couch, and stared upside down at Overhaul.
"So, how are you?" I asked.
"Um, I'm fine. Why do you ask?" he questioned. I shrugged, and sat back up.
"I don't know. I just thought I'd be nice and ask." I sighed. "I'm hungry." I decided.
"What would you like?" he asked.
"Um, what about some pocky, but it has to be strawberry. Oh, and a PB+J sandwich." I told him.
"Alright. I'll get my man on it." he snapped, and the door opened. He repeated my lunch order to this minion, and they left. I stared around the room, looking for something to pique my interest.
"You seem jumpy." Overhaul said, bringing my attention back to him.
"I have ADHD; I can't sit still." I responded, going back to looking around the room. I stood, and walked over to a wall. Something about it felt off. I couldn't quite place it. I placed my hand on the wall, and searched with my powers.
Someone was hiding behind a secret panel. I reached them with shadows, and pulled them into the room we were in. it was a short midget of a man.
"I thought I sensed something off." I muttered, and went back to the couch. Overhaul looked surprised. "What?" I asked, sitting, and crossing my legs.
"No one has ever found Mimic when he was hiding there." Overhaul gave me a sinister smile. "I think you will be very useful." He decided.
"If you treat me right. I only help those I like. In fact, I'm only here because Tomura asked me to come." I said, leaning my head back on the couch.
"I don't want to be rude, but is it his kid?" Overhaul asked. I opened my eyes, and gave him a sadistic grin.
"Yeah. why do you ask?" I questioned.
"Just curious. How much do you like kids?" he asked.
"I love them. They're adorable." I stated. He seemed to debate something.
"Would you like to meet Eri?" he asked. Mimic gasped.
"Master, that's not a-" Chisaki cut him off.
"Mimic. I'm in charge. I decide what is, and is not a good idea." The man stated.
"Sure. I'd love to see Eri." I said, standing.
"Follow me." the leader of the Shie Hassaikailed me through his villain base. I stopped trying to remember the turns after number 12.
"Here we are." He said, opening a locked door. I walked into the well-lit albeit small bedroom. A small child was asleep on the bed. She had blue-ish white hair, and a small horn on the right side of her head. I looked around the room. There were a few toys spread here and there, but nothing else. The room was pretty much bare.
"I have things to attend to. Your job is going to be protecting Eri, so you might as well get to know her." Overhaul left, and shut the door. I didn't hear it click. I sat in the chair, which with a table were the only other pieces of furniture in the room.
I don't know how long I sat there. my lunch came and was promptly devoured. I watched the small girl sleep, and fantasized about my own unborn child. Would it be a girl or a boy? I didn't know which I preferred.
After a long wait, Eri stirred. I stood, and walked silently over to her bed.
"Glad to see you awake, sleepy head." I whispered. she opened her eyes wide in fright. "Don't worry. I'm a friend." I said, petting her head. she calmed a bit.
"Who're you?" she asked in an adorably childish voice.
"My name is Nico, and I'm your new bodyguard. I get to keep you safe." I told the little girl. I ran my hand through her hair, and she instantly backed away.
"D-Don't," she whispered frightened. I stopped, and looked at her.
"Why not?" I asked soothingly.
"B-Because everyone who touches me gets hurt." She said, frightened. I smiled at her.
"Don't worry, you can't hurt me." I assured her. "I'm not really touching you." She looked at me in disbelief.
"How not?" she asked cutely.
"You see, my entire body is coated in shadows. I'm not really touching anything." I held my hand up in the light and uncoated then recoated my hand so she could see the difference.
"Wow. That's so cool." She said in awe.
"That's not all I can do." I said, and summoned a hair brush from the shadows. "May I?" I asked, pointing to her hair.
"Sure." Eri said, and turned around so I could brush her hair. Gently, I ran the brush through the bottom of her hair, slowly making my way to the top. Once I'd finished brushing her hair, I divided it in half, and started braiding the left side. I French braided the top, and then all the way down. I placed it over her shoulder, and started on the other side careful not to pull her hair.
"There, all done." I placed the finished braid over her right shoulder. I summoned her a mirror so she could see her hair.
"It's so pretty." She said in awe, running her little hands down the braid.
"Glad you like it." I said with a small smile. She turned around, and looked at me imperiously.
"I wanna braid your hair!" she announced. I chuckled.
"Sure. Go right ahead." I handed her the brush, and sat on the floor so she could reach.
She started to brush my hair, very clumsily I might add. Once she deemed it brushed enough, she parted my hair into two sides, and attempted to braid the left side.
"This is hard." She said, disheartened.
"It is. But the more you practice; the easier it gets. I don't expect you to be perfect the first time you try." I told the little girl.
"Alright! I won't give up!" she said, with childish enthusiasm.
Half an hour later, I had two very messy braids that stuck out from my head in lopsided swirls.
"I love them." I stated, and smiled at the little girl. She frowned.
"They're not as pretty as mine. Your hair is too short." She decided. I let out a small laugh.
"I can take them out and you can try again." I suggested.
"Yeah, I wanna do just one braid." She confirmed.
And that was how I spent my first day of my new job being a hair model to an eight-year-old.
"Nico?" a small voice asked. I opened my eyes, and realized that I was half on a bed, and half off.
"Huh?" I asked disoriented. Where was I again? And who was talking to me? I blinked a few times, before turning. A small girl with blueish white hair was staring at me. oh.
"Morning Eri." I said, and yawned.
"Good morning!" she said cheerfully. I must've fallen asleep while she was doing my hair.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. I fell asleep almost right after you did." She said, looking down at the bed.
"Oh, alright." I pulled my sleeve up to look at my watch. It was 8 AM.
"I don't know about you, but I'm hungry." I said with a smile.
"I'm hungry too." Eri confirmed.
"Well, I'll go get us some food then." I said, standing up. "What would you like?"
"Umm, one time I had strawberry pancakes. Do you think..." she trailed off, looking embarrassed.
"Alright! Two orders of strawberry pancakes for breakfast then!" I left her room, and wandered around using the shadows as a map. Eventually, I found a kitchen. No one was there.
I set to work making some strawberry pancakes.
"What are you doing here?" a man asked, coming in right as I was mixing batter.
"Making pancakes. Did you want some?" I asked, looking up. he seemed dumbfounded.
"You new here? he asked.
"Yep. Just started yesterday. I'm making strawberry pancakes, did you want a few? Should I make enough for everyone?" I asked, mixing the batter vigorously.
"Uh, yeah. I'll take some. I say make some extra, and just leave 'em on the counter. They'll be gone." He advised.
"Ok!" I got out more supplies with the shadows, and put together three more batches. I set to work cooking them, and finished in under an hour. I set the 50 something pancakes left over on the counter, and took the two plates for Eri and I to her bedroom.
I knocked on the door.
"Oh, come in!" her childish voice called out. I opened the door, and was greeted with the biggest smile ever.
"I made strawberry pancakes." I announced, setting he two plates on the table.
"Hooray!" she giggled, and sat down. we dug in. they were fantastic if I do say so myself.
"These are really good!" she mumbled out through a full mouth of pancake.
"I'm glad." I said, finishing my own, and setting my fork down. she finished not long after. "We should wash our hands off." I suggested. She nodded and we went into the adjacent bathroom. She washed her hands first, and then I washed my own.
Just as I was drying off my hands, my phone rang. I dried them with shadows, and pulled it out. The caller ID flashed: T.S. 3. I answered.
"Hey Tomura, what's up?" I asked, holding the phone with my shoulder, and going back into Eri's room.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, and I like to hear your voice." He replied. I smiled a bit, and sat on the floor.
"Well thanks babe. I'm doing great. I made Eri and I pancakes for breakfast, and we just finished eating." I told my boyfriend.
"Who's that?" Eri asked. I turned to look at her innocent face.
"This is Tomura. He's my boyfriend." I told her. she seemed confused.
"You have a boyfriend?" she asked. I smiled.
"Yup! And don't tell him, but he's a total sweetheart." I whispered not so confidentially.
"Alright! I won't tell!" she did the 'my lips are sealed' motion, and winked at me. I let out a laugh.
"Anyway, did you need anything else Tomura?" I asked.
"Nope. Just wanted to hear your voice. Have a good day, and call me if anything happens." Shigaraki hung up.
"Well little bit what do you want to do today?" I asked the little girl.
"I want you to braid my hair again, it came out when I was sleeping." She decided.
"Of course. I love to braid hair."
End of Chapter 5.
