Sunlight shone brightly, blinding my eyes as I dared to open them. Morning, did I reach it? Did I live? or am I dead and death has played yet another cruel joke upon me. I hear a groan of wood and a soft click. I turn and see a man with long brown hair peppered with gray strands. A bow tucked neatly. He holds a tray, weaved with local flora should I assume we are near the forest I almost died in.

"Mister, might I ask for your name?" I utter, etiquette lessons ingrained well in my mind. I can see my "mother" scoffing at the shuddy appearance of the man. I hear another click and there I see the man was not truly a man but a centaur. Knowing centaurs demeanor to wizards and that I am in debt for they saved me from deaths clasp. I bow my head in respect. " My name is Kraos, No need for that youngling, I see a path of greatness within you, the stars said so." I look up the stars? I wonder if what I've seen can be reasoned as the stars said. . . "A youngling wizard, shall not trouble themselves with the stars whispers as they are too far and distant to your roots unlike my kind who tend and head to their wishes." I nod, agreeing that worrying should be my last priority over my health as I need to still survive. "Thank you for saving me" He gave me nothing more than a nod.

"Eat, there will be a warm bath waiting beyond the curtain. Day is upon us and you will have travel long distance to reach your destination." I knew Hogwarts would be a long trek I would have to take.

I gingerly ate the food given to me by Kraos. Filling myself with such warmth, I can feel my magic hum. Wispy gold aura envelopes me, I peek under the bands of bandage wrapped around my frail torso and I can see well enough my healing is in place. I bathed in the warmed tub Kraos generously offered. Once out of the tub I see a set of plain robes and a cloak of treated fleece. I fasten the cloak and head outside towards the forest. Noticing Kraos standing beside another centaur, I bow to both giving my gratitude. "Youngling, beware the danger that lurks within the forbidden forest, Hogwarts is near. We know too much and are assured you will reach greatness that you long for" then with the cloak and myself healed. I trudged towards the forest heading nowhere else but hogwarts.
