Utena was spaced out during class and always looking out the window. She had asked to go to the bathroom allot since she thought she was going to be sick. Anthy carried out her day like normal. she tended to the roses, which felt some what familiar but she didn't think twice about it Wabaka and some girls came up to Anthy and threatened her to stay away from Toga and slapped her and was on there way. While sitting there holding her cheek, she felt that was familiar and convinced herself it wasn't. through out Anthy's day things have reminded her of Utena. It's as if she was there in her life but she couldn't see her. Anthy was living, but she wasn't there. Anthy didn't live if Utena didn't, live a half of a whole.
It wasn't until after dark that Anthy started to go back to there house. She was thinking of how she has treated Utena, her prince. Her prince showed up on a white horse and its as if she took his own sword and killed him with it. Anthy wanted to die for what she did. She looked at the stars and thought of how they remind her of utena. They would fall asleep at night looking at the stars. It hit Anthy finally. "I'm remembering things again all my own." With a smile on her face she stared at the stars thinking how she wanted to go home and tell Utena. The smile was wiped from her face when she saw a figure above a building. Utena was on top a building in the opposite direction of the house. "UTENA!" Anthy threw her bag and stared running to that building. She reached the top of the building. She was Out of breath and almost falling to the ground from exhaustion. "UTENA!" Anthy let out one last breath. Utena looked back in a daze. "Utena..." Anthy whispered. Utena was still looking at Anthy until she started to fall toward the ground. "UTENA!" Anthy yelled while running over to Utena. She grabbed Utena before her feet left the building.
"Just let me go." Utena said still in a daze.
"You're just going to run away."
"Just leave me alone."
"I thought we were going to get through this puzzle?"
"Game over, I give up.
Anthy pulled Utena back and they were now sitting on the edge of the building.
"I didn't want to continue." Utena stared to cry.
"You have to save me, Utena. Your my prince."
"How can you save some one that doesn't want to be saved?"
"I do want to be saved."
"How do you let someone you don't trust save you?"
"I remembered things on my own."
Utena looked up interested in what she had to say.
"This has happened before." Anthy continued.
"But it was me who was out there, you saved me Utena."
Utena smiled and looked away trying to hide it.
"you want to know something else I remembered?"
"What?" Utena said curiously
"this..." Anthy leaned over and kissed Utena.
Utena started to smile again. Anthy started to cry because she just realized what just happened and how close Utena came to loosing her life. Utena leaned over and kissed the sad tear sitting on Anthy's cheek.
