A/N: Hello! I guess not many of you liked or read my last chapter so I thought I needed to hurry with the next chapter so here it is. WARNING!!!!! Fluff and Stuff is present in this chapter! We all know that you have been waiting till this came up SO DON'T LIE!
Chapter 5:The Halloween Ball
The next morning they went down to breakfast together like always. As they walked into the Great Hall, Hermione gasped at how wonderful it looked. She went to go sit down next to Ginny like always. They talked for most of the time occasionally eating a few bites in between sentences. After they had been done eating Ginny whispered in her ear, "So who will be accompanying you to the ball?" She asked seeing Hermione looking at Draco.
"Well, who do you think?!" She said back, "Don't tell Harry and Ron, K, oh ad look what he gave me!" She said pulling out the dragon necklace that was given to her. Ginny just about freaked.
"Oh my lord! He got you that! I'm extremely jealous, I mean Harry has yet to get me anything like that." She explained to her.
"I have to go to my dorm now so I can finish my homework before the ball. See you around!" Hermione said getting up to leave.
"Sounds like a plan. See you later then!" Ginny said waving bye.
Hermione waved and went to the library, picked up a few books that she needed and headed to her dorm. Before she could get there she ran head long into Pansy. Pansy had a look of death on her face already and it just got worse when she saw Hermione.
"Watch where you're going you filthy MUDBLOOD!" Pansy yelled, "Can't even walk without seeing you. Oh and how's sleeping with Draco? Bet you like that don't you?!" She continued spatting at her.
"We have not slept together! We are not like that yet!" Hermione said standing up for herself for once.
"Well he must want to if he's already giving you jewelry!" Pansy replied grabbing the chain. At that moment the voice spoke up and said in Draco's head Hermione is in trouble! You must hurry Pansy is there with her. Draco jumped up and left from the Great Hall to the place the voice told him Hermione was. He arrived behind the corner they were just around and peeked around to see Pansy holding on to Hermione's necklace saying "I swear if I ever find out that you are sleeping with him I'll curse you till your dead!" He saw Hermione slowly reaching for her wand.
Then out of nowhere Hermione yelled, "Potrificus Totalus!" The spell hit Pansy, which made her drop the necklace and put her in a full body bind. Draco then came around to what he had just seen and thought, 'OK. Maybe she fine.'
Well she looks that way. Don't bother her now; she has handled this situation very well. I'm impressed. The voice told Draco. Draco thought, 'me too. I'm very happy to say she is my girlfriend.' He decided to stop by the library before going to the dorm giving Hermione time to get there before himself.
Back in the hall Hermione leaned over Pansy and said bluntly, "Pansy get this straight. What Draco and I do has nothing to do with you so kiss my ass! OH and I can take you on any day so bring on your oh mighty curses and spells because I'll be ready!" She turned and walked away and at the end of the hall she took the body bind off and left. She entered the common room and set to work on her homework.
Draco came in and saw her and said, " You are so cute when you study. Oh, I'd like to say hat ever you said to Pansy sure left an impression. She won't even look me in the eye any more!" A grin formed on his face, "That one I owe you for."
"Do me a favor then." She started still poring over her book and writing.
"Anything for you." He replied
"Ok, you know this necklace you gave me, did you give it to me just to get me to sleep with you?" She questioned still not looking up at him.
"Who gave you that idea?" He asked out of surprise. " I gave it to you because I really care about you and I wanted you to know that." He explained to her as he came and sat down next to her.
"I figured that's why you gave it to me but still I wanted to make sure and be on the safe side." She told him finally looking up from her work at him. She smiled and leaned forward and kissed him.
It was about 12:00 pm when they came back from lunch and Hermione hugged Draco and said, "I'm going to go and take a nap, k?" She kissed him but before she could leave he grabbed her arm and asked her, "May I join you?"
Waiting for her to say no she shook her head yes. "Which room then?" She asked.
"Yours." He said. "Ok." She replied and she took his hand and led him into her room. She took off her shoes and robe and crawled into bed followed by Draco. He came up right behind her and put his arms around her body and she never felt so protected in all her life.
They woke up 3 hours later to find that the ball would start in 2 hours and the feast in 1and1/2 hours. Hermione went straight to work getting ready for the ball.
"I'm getting in the shower." She told him.
"Alright, I'll have your outfit out in your room." He said smiling at her as she left for the bathroom. Draco you surprise me, one moment your following her into bed and the other you act like a total gentleman. The voice explained. 'Well somethings can't be rushed or pushed because then I might lose her and she way to important to lose.' Draco Replied. You sound more like me and your father as the days go on by the way you put things in proseptive. Keep your self together and don't act like a fool though. 'Alright.' Was all Draco said in replied back in his head ending the conversation to get Hermione's costume out ready for her before she returned from the shower.
After she got out of the shower she rapped a towel around her body and left the bathroom for her room. She decided that she would let Draco know the bathroom was clear so she went over to his room and knocked on the door. The door opened and she stepped in and said, "I'm all done in there you can use it if you did to."
He just stood there and started. He had not seen her with so little on before and it stunned him. He almost felt imbaraced to look at her because it felt like he was doing something wrong. "Oh uh uh umm thanks. You know you look wonderful." He blurted trying not to sound rude. He smiled and looked away quickly.
"Thanks, but kinda have nothing on right now." She said turning red.
"Exactly. You can be beautiful with and without clothes because you are simply elegant all around." He explained gaining back his confidence.
"Thanks again and I'll see you in a bit." She said coming up to him and kissing him on the cheek and walked back out of his room.
At 4:00pm Draco was all done and ready now just waiting for Hermione. So, Draco what about some flowers for Hermione boy! The voice said as an owl started tapping on the window. He got up and let inside and it dropped a boquet of roses in his hands. It was made up of all red roses and a single white one right in the middle. Well what do you think? I thought that they were fit for royalty. It will also make your first date one not to forget. He explained to Draco. 'I think they are perfect for her.' Draco told the voice. Just then Draco heard her door opening. He turned around to face her and walked closer placing the flowers behind his back. She stepped out of the door and he felt his mouth fall open.
She looked amazing infact she looked better then she had the night on their forth year Yule ball. Her hair was in an elegant French bun with her crown going around it. She had on a sparkling silver eye shadow that was lined with black eye liner. She had red lipstick on to match her dress robe. He finally was back to reality and closed his mouth and up to her and gave her the flowers. As she took them he bowed deeply and said, "You look beyond beautiful. I think that you were born to be royalty." He finished . She had the biggest smile on her face as she thought, 'Nothing could go wrong tonight.' "Thank you very much for everything. May I coment on the fact that you look damn good too." She explained. His hair was gel-less and the crown was placed loseley on it, he had a black silky dress shirt fitting him nicely, his black dress robe and a nice fitting pair of pants that hugged his ass perfectly. He stuck out his hand after she had conjured a vase for the flowers and said, "Shall we grace the school with our presence?" "I belive we shall go then because I'm ready." She answered in return. So she took his hand and they left for the Great Hall. "Now what ever anyone says don't worry about it. It's our chiose to be together , not theirs." Draco told her with a big smile on his face as if it was Christmas morning, "I'm here for you and will always be." "I think that if I can put up with your taunts for six years I can handle what ever anyone in there has to say. I'm ready for people to know that we are together." She said placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. She felt nervous but extremely excited and felt very safe when around Draco. As long as they were together nothing could ever harm her. As they entered the Great Hall everything stopped with exception of Proffesor Dumbledore who conitued to eat and talk on like nothing odd had happened. Every student stared as they walked in holding hands. They were all in shock because one their costumes were very extravant and two it them together like a couple. Draco kissed Hermione's cheek before they parted to sit at their own tables. She flushed pink and walked over to where Ginny and Harry sat and sat next to Ginny who winked st her with a smile of approval. Ron looked scary as he looked at her but she didn't worry because Draco, the teachers, and Dumbledore was there. After the feast was done and the plates cleared Dumbledore stood up to speak, "Happy Halloween! I'm pleased to see all of you here at our first annual ball. Now if you could all stand and move to the front or back of the hall we can get to the fun stuff." He took out his wand with a smile on his face and gave it a wave making the tables move to the sides of the room and fill with party food and drinks. "and now I would like to introduce our entertainment the famous DJ Spizzel!" And out of no where a floating platform difted from the ceiling and landed softly on the floor in front of the teachers table. "Hello all you witches and wizards out there! Lets get this ball moving with a slow song to bring our couples to life called 'You got it bad'" He called out to the crowd. Hermione took Draco's hand and led him out onto the dance floor making them the first couple to start dancing. He pulled her close to where their bodies where touching and started to dance.
They were in heven and did'nt want it to ever end. She put her head down on his shoulder and whispered, "You dance very well."
"You do too." He reaplied then noticed Ron and Pansy talking maddly while looking extremely jellous. He came close to her ear and said, "After the dance I have something I want to tall you and it's very important." and he leaned in and kissed her soft lips.
By the end of the song everyone was on ht floor dancing to an up-beat muggle son called "Hey Ya!". Hermione was having so much funand so was Draco. All of a sudden the crowd grew into a circle around Dumbledore who was doing a muggle dance called the running man. HErmione was laughing so hard and could not belive how good it felt to be so happy. The hours leaked by like sand in an hour glass. Soon enough it was 10:00pm meaning that the 1st-3rd years had to go to bed. Then it was 11:00pm making the 4th-5th years leave.
DJ Spizzel had told everyone that it was the last dance and it was going to be a slow one. Drao and Hermione were sitting on a bench when he got up and said, "Would you care to dance with me?"
"I would love to." She said taking his hand and walked to the dance floor. When they began to dance to a beautiful instumental song (AN: Any HP fan who has the CoS Cd then you know the song as Fawkes the Pheonix) she saw HArry and Ginny dancing very close and she also noticed that Harry's hand was a little lower than it should be. To her shock she also saw Ron and Pansy dancing together. "Draco look it's Pansy and Ron, together." she said.
"It's a bit strange though because I saw them talking a lot early tonight too. I hope that they are not planning something." Draco finished.
"Me too but hey they may also finnaly like eachother I mean look at me and you." She explained.
"Maybe your right." He said still not convince that Pansy would just start caring about Weasley like that. He pushed the thought of those two out of his mind and kissed Hermione's forehead. He hen leaned in to kiss her but to his suprise was met halfway by her and it was a very passionate kiss to top it off.
"YES!" Ginny said. "Why are you...." Harry started just as he saw Hermione and Draco kiss like that.
"I knew this would happen and I'm glad Hermione as been through a lot this year." Ginny said realizing that she had just said too much.
"How long have you known about those two? And what has she been going through?" Harry questioned.
"First since the trainride when Malfoy hepled her," She started but was cut off by Harry.
"Help her from what?" Harry pushed.
"I'm getting to that. Now don't tell Hermione you know other wise YOU won't have a girlfriend left to kiss." she said. Harry was smilling he nodded and she started. "Well when Ron told us he needed to speak to HErmione alone he took her to an emty compartment. Once there he and her sat down to talk, well thats what Hermione thought, because Ron then told her he wanted to start over with their relationship and that he never ment anything he said before. She told him no wayand he did not like that. Then he, he......" Ginny broke off.
"Gin it's ok you can tell. I need to know whats been going on with my friends." Harry said stroking her cheek.
"He tried to rape her Harry. But thank Merlin that Malfoy heard her scream when Ron hit her and spelled Ron off of her. He got there just in time. Ron left bruises all over her though. If it wasn't for Malfoy who knows what Could have happened." She finished.
"I can't belive this. Ron try and rape someone and above all the people he tried to rape Hermione! I guess we owe Malfoy a bit then eh? I think it's time to mend a friendship that went bad a long time ago. Well now that I know what has happened it all makes sence with them being so distant and all. But what gets me is why did she not tell me?" Harry asked.
"Think about the one Harry. Could you possibly tell your best friend that his best frined had just tried to rape you?" Ginny explained.
"You have a point. I still can't belive Ron." Harry said then sighed. "Anyways, thanks for telling me Gin it means alot to me. I love you." He told her.

When the song was over everyone went off to bed. Draco and Hermione went to the dorms and went in. Once in the dorms he asked her to sit with him.

Finally you get that off your chest.Now lets hope that she answers the way we hope she will. The voice spoke up for the first time that night.
"Draco, I love you too, infact every time I see you which is everyday I fall further and further for you." She said giving him a hug then giving him a kiss. That seemed to be a very good response 'Not now I'm a bit busy. Please and thank you sir.' He thought to the voice.
" Come on lets go to my room luv." Draco said lifting up his Princess and taking her to his room. When inside he put her on his bed.
"Let me go and change into....." She started but was cut off by Draco.

Lets get this ball moving with a slow song to bring our couples to life called 'You got it bad'" He called out to the crowd. Hermione took Draco's hand and led him out onto the dance floor making them the first couple to start dancing. He pulled her close to where their bodies where touching and started to dance.
They were in heven and did'nt want it to ever end. She put her head down on his shoulder and whispered, "You dance very well."
"You do too." He reaplied then noticed Ron and Pansy talking maddly while looking extremely jellous. He came close to her ear and said, "After the dance I have something I want to tall you and it's very important." and he leaned in and kissed her soft lips.
By the end of the song everyone was on ht floor dancing to an up-beat muggle son called "Hey Ya!". Hermione was having so much funand so was Draco. All of a sudden the crowd grew into a circle around Dumbledore who was doing a muggle dance called the running man. HErmione was laughing so hard and could not belive how good it felt to be so happy. The hours leaked by like sand in an hour glass. Soon enough it was 10:00pm meaning that the 1st-3rd years had to go to bed. Then it was 11:00pm making the 4th-5th years leave.
DJ Spizzel had told everyone that it was the last dance and it was going to be a slow one. Drao and Hermione were sitting on a bench when he got up and said, "Would you care to dance with me?"
"I would love to." She said taking his hand and walked to the dance floor. When they began to dance to a beautiful instumental song (AN: Any HP fan who has the CoS Cd then you know the song as Fawkes the Pheonix) she saw HArry and Ginny dancing very close and she also noticed that Harry's hand was a little lower than it should be. To her shock she also saw Ron and Pansy dancing together. "Draco look it's Pansy and Ron, together." she said.
"It's a bit strange though because I saw them talking a lot early tonight too. I hope that they are not planning something." Draco finished.
"Me too but hey they may also finnaly like eachother I mean look at me and you." She explained.
"Maybe your right." He said still not convince that Pansy would just start caring about Weasley like that. He pushed the thought of those two out of his mind and kissed Hermione's forehead. He hen leaned in to kiss her but to his suprise was met halfway by her and it was a very passionate kiss to top it off.
"YES!" Ginny said. "Why are you...." Harry started just as he saw Hermione and Draco kiss like that.
"I knew this would happen and I'm glad Hermione as been through a lot this year." Ginny said realizing that she had just said too much.
"How long have you known about those two? And what has she been going through?" Harry questioned.
"First since the trainride when Malfoy hepled her," She started but was cut off by Harry.
"Help her from what?" Harry pushed.
"I'm getting to that. Now don't tell Hermione you know other wise YOU won't have a girlfriend left to kiss." she said. Harry was smilling he nodded and she started. "Well when Ron told us he needed to speak to HErmione alone he took her to an emty compartment. Once there he and her sat down to talk, well thats what Hermione thought, because Ron then told her he wanted to start over with their relationship and that he never ment anything he said before. She told him no wayand he did not like that. Then he, he......" Ginny broke off.
"Gin it's ok you can tell. I need to know whats been going on with my friends." Harry said stroking her cheek.
"He tried to rape her Harry. But thank Merlin that Malfoy heard her scream when Ron hit her and spelled Ron off of her. He got there just in time. Ron left bruises all over her though. If it wasn't for Malfoy who knows what Could have happened." She finished.
"I can't belive this. Ron try and rape someone and above all the people he tried to rape Hermione! I guess we owe Malfoy a bit then eh? I think it's time to mend a friendship that went bad a long time ago. Well now that I know what has happened it all makes sence with them being so distant and all. But what gets me is why did she not tell me?" Harry asked.
"Think about the one Harry. Could you possibly tell your best friend that his best frined had just tried to rape you?" Ginny explained.
"You have a point. I still can't belive Ron." Harry said then sighed. "Anyways, thanks for telling me Gin it means alot to me. I love you." He told her.
"I love you too Harry Potter." Ginny replied and then they kissed also.
When the song was over everyone went off to bed. Draco and Hermione went to the dorms and went in. Once in the dorms he asked her to sit with him.
"Hermione I feel like everyday I care about you more and more and can never get enough of you. Well what I'm trying to say is I Love You." Draco said keping his eyes conected with the ground the whole time. He flushed slightly at saying these simple but powerful words. Finally you get that off your chest.Now lets hope that she answers the way we hope she will. The voice spoke up for the first time that night.
"Draco, I love you too, infact every time I see you which is everyday I fall further and further for you." She said giving him a hug then giving him a kiss. That seemed to be a very good response 'Not now I'm a bit busy. Please and thank you sir.' He thought to the voice.
" Come on lets go to my room luv." Draco said lifting up his Princess and taking her to his room. When inside he put her on his bed.
"Let me go and change into....." She started but was cut off by Draco.
"Please don't go go and change because I think you look beautiful the way you are." Draco told her.
She smiled and said, "Alright then if you insist ." They started kissing again. After a couple of minutes she broke the kiss and said to him, "Draco do something for me." "Anything" He whispered in her ear. "Touch me ." She told him.
"Alright if that is what you want. I'll do as you say." He said in a seductive tone.
"Please just be gentle because I've well, uh, Really never done anything like this before." She said turning pink.
"Alright luv I will be gentle and show you that there is more to me than just whats on the outside." He said while he took off her dress robe and dress leaving her in her matching bra and thong. They were the black and lacy kind. "Nice bra and thong, these are my favorite kind too." He told her. He stood up next to her and took off his dress robe and his shoes and socks. Then Hermione stood up next to him and started unbuttoning his shirt. She took it off him and through it next to her clothes. She unbuckled his belt and started to unbutton his pants but he stopped her by grabbing her hands and pulling her into a passionate kiss. Then he lay her back down on the bed.
He kicked off his pants leaving him in nothing but a pair of silky black boxers. He got on top of her and started kissing her then slowly moving down her neck leaving a light trail of pink marks in his wake. With one of his hands behind her back he undid her bra with ease explosing her breasts which with the other hand he grabbed and squeezed gentley at them.
