Chapter 9: Explanations
"Fuck, Hermione! What in the hell did that bastard do to you?" Draco asked while running up to her side. He knew what had happened and knew that it was all a mater of time before Ron would get his. He pulled off his robe and wrapped it around her and pulled her onto his lap.
"Owww! Draco help me please! I need you!" She yelled with her eyes closed. Then she opened her eyes and she realized who was touching her and and burst into tears further than before.
"Shh luv I'm right here for you. Everything will be ok. Your safe with me now." Draco spoke softly in her ear trying to calm her. He started to rock her and stoke her hair. How could this have happened? I couldn't sense anything wrong with her. I should have been able to. The voice spoke in Draco's head.
"Luv, Angel, please calm down I need to ask you somethings before I start going after people." Draco explained to her in a soft voice.
"Ron, he, he......." Hermione started but then couldn't finish her sentence.
Draco understood and he was ready to do as he told Ron he would do if he ever touched Hermione again. "Shhhhh, I understand and don't need to tell me any more. Let's get you dressed." Draco told her and started to dress her.
"Draco he used the seductive potion on me and thats why I couldn't do anything to stop him." She told him.
"It's ok now loving. Can you stand up?" He asked her. She tried but fell into his arms and she shook her head no. "Ok lets not move you yet then. We can just stay here for a little." So they sat there for about 30 minutes till Hermione was calm down and could properly. She was very very weak from the ordeal but that was understandable Draco figured.
Hermione sat up and looked him in the eyes and said, "Draco I was yelling so loud in my head. I was trying to get to you some how and all. The potion then started to wear off early and it surprised me because those potions are never known to wear off like that."
"That is something weird and I have to agree it it odd. I would have to say though that you are the strongest minded person I have ever known." Draco told her with a smile that made he blush and smile back.
"Ah thanks but I really don' understand at what you are getting at." She told him.
"Well you see the potion is never supposed to wear off and you were already breaking free of it in what was it 30minutes? That potion is stronger than the Imperius curse. See what I mean, you fought it so hard that your mind blew up the effects of the potion." He finished.
"Oh, I see. My head hurts so bad though with everything that has happened." SHe told him leaning back against his chest.
"We need to get you to the hospital wing." Draco told her making her sit straight up with a look of terror on her face.
"I can't. I can't do it. I can't tell anyone what he did to me." She told him tears flooding in her eyes again.
"Don't worry you don't have to say anything if you don't want to. I will answer any questions for you." Draco told her, "You need to be check over and taken care for by Madame Pomphery." Before she could agree she passed out from exhaustion. HE picked her up and carried her to the hospital wing getting stares and comments from students. He ignored them all and kept going.
"Madam Pomphery! I need your help now!" Draco yelled as he entered the wing. She came out of her office and saw Hermione in his arms and ran over quickly to them.
"What happened to her? Put her here." She demanded, "What has happened Mr. Malfoy?"
"Well for a long story put short she was raped and beaten." He told her.
"Raped?! By whom? Surely not you?!" She asked with wide eyes filled with shock and horror.
"Me?! No I would never harm a hair on her head. No it was Ron Weasely." Draco told her as his blood burned hot with just the thought of Ron, "He used the seductive potion. She ended up fighting against it and warding it off at about 30 minutes." He explained.
"Well I can take her from here and give her the proper care. You mean while need to leave." She told him bluntly.
"I'm not going anywhere! She needs me!" Draco yelled. Then Hermione started to moan.
"Draco where are you?" She asked looking around for him.
"I'm right here luv." He said coming and standing at her side.
"Here dear take this it will make you sleep without dreams." Madam Pomphery said handing her a small vile of sleeping draft. Hermione didn't take the vile but turned her head away from it. Draco took the vile and gave it to her making her fall back asleep instantly.
"How long will she be asleep?" Draco asked.
"About 7-8 hours. Now if you will go back to your dorm and you can come back here later." She said pushing him out the door.
"I'll be back in 7 hours then. Please take care of her. She means everything to me and has been though far to much today as it is." Draco told her. She had never heard Malfoy talk like this about anyone before and it touched her. Then before she could close the door Draco ran back to Hermione's side and placed a small kiss on her forehead and headed back off.
"I will of course take care of her Mr. Malfoy." She told him gently and smiled as he gave her a small grin.
