Summary: Just as Danny's cousin Dannii is visiting, Vlad returns with a machine that makes Danny evil. Now it's up to Dannii, Jazz, Tucker, and Sam to save Dannii from Vlad, will they succeed?
A/N: My first Danny Phantom story, enjoy!
Chapter 1: Looming Evil
Danny Fenton flew over Amity Park in his ghost form. He was checking to see if he had gotten all the evil ghosts trapped in his Fenton Thermos. That way he could release them in the Ghost Zone, where all ghosts lived, so they wouldn't bug the town anymore.
Danny stopped flying when he heard his cell phone ring. Probably Dad again wanting to know where I hid the Cheesy Snacks, Danny thought. Rolling his eyes, he landed behind a bush in the local park and changed back into his normal self.
Danny answered the phone, "hello."
"Hi Danny," Danny recognized his mother's voice right away.
"What's up Mom?" Danny asked.
"Well, I just wanted to tell you to be home a little early because Dannii's coming today, remember?" she asked.
Dannii, a.k.a. Danielle Kylie Fenton, was Danny's cousin. She was staying with his family for awhile while his Aunt Edna and Uncle Bruce took a long trip around the world.
She was Danny's age and would be attending school with him. She looked a lot like Danny. She had long black hair that went down to her shoulders and blue eyes. She was
obsessed with ghosts and the supernatural, a lot like Danny's parents Jack and Maddie.
Dannii didn't know about Danny's powers. He tried to keep them a secret from almost everyone since previous mishaps had made him the most wanted ghost in a ghost catching-happy town. The only people who knew about his powers were his sister Jasmine, a.k.a. Jazz, and his two best friends Tucker and Samantha, a.k.a. Sam.
But anyway, Danny replied, "yeah Mom, I know."
"Ok sweetie. By the way, your dad wants to know where the Cheesy Snacks are," Maddie said.
Danny laughed, "in the snack cabinet behind the potato chips."
"Ok, see you later," Maddie said.
"Bye Mom," Danny hung up the phone.
Danny put his cell phone away and turned into Danny Phantom again and started flying. There goes my Cheesy Snacks, he thought. He flew on into the daytime sky.

In a huge, gloomy mansion in Wisconsin was the lab of rich evil genius Vlad Masters, a.k.a. evil ghost Vlad Plasmius.
He turned his head to an odd looking and tiny machine, his gray ghostly hair going with him. He smiled an evil grin and turned to a picture frame.
"Foolish young Daniel, you may have sabotaged all my other evil plans, but soon you will be mine. You will fight for all that is evil," Vlad spoke to the picture, the picture of Danny Fenton…
