Naruto - Aburame Rant
Ok, so the Aburame clan uses bugs to fight, right?
Right.
The bugs are all over them, inside them, and feeding off their chakra.
Destruction bugs to be precise, but we're not going to be all petty like that.
I mean, they use almost every single type of bug there is, formerly including that scent bug from the anime filler arc.
But it all comes down to the fact that people from the Aburame clan have insects all over their body and inside them too.
These bugs help them fight, form clones, does secret detective work and other awesome stuff.
Cool.
But then...
Does this mean that...
Aburames have...
Head lice?
Seriously! I just noticed because another case of head lice broke out at my friend's school, and then, I was drawing a picture of Shino, added to the fact that I just finished Deception Point, by Dan Brown, made me think that.
Do people from the Aburame clan have head lice?
Let's bring in some Shikamaru logic. Well, if they all have bugs crawling around all over their body, then, yes, it should be that they have head lice. Not only head lice, but head ants, beetles, bugs... etc etc
However, doesn't head lice make you itchy? As far as my knowledge goes, Shino hasn't ever scratched his head because it was itchy in the series as of yet.
Orisn't licea little... contagious for lack of a better word? Hinata doesn't seem to have any head lice from being around Shino all the time seeing that he's her teammate and everything.
Kiba, I'm not so sure. Akamaru, dogs, fleas...wow! You get the picture don't you! I'm so amazed!
Anyways, back on track. Maybe this is one of the little details Kishimoto-san overlooked.

Oh well.
Who cares if Shino has head lice?
He's still cooler than a lot of people.
