A/N Hello my lovely readers, welcome to another chapter of The Best Kept Secret. I still don't own it. I know I didn't mention this before, but this is a multicrossover of Harry Potter, BBC Sherlock, Avengers, James Bond, Mission Impossible and Sherlock Holmes. Characters will be showing up throughout the story some more than others. I would like to put it out there that I haven't watched James Bond or Mission Impossible. I would also like to say that most of not all characters will be very OOC but just how I need them too for this story.

The Best Kept Secret

"Hello Ant."

"Myc? What's up?"

"I need your help…"

"With what?"

"It's Hermione, she got detention."

"...And she's freaking out claiming it's the end of the world?"

"No, actually. She didn't even say anything about it"

"...What...?"

"I also think that it's with Umbridge"

"...The one 'mione says keeps her friend Harry until midnight and he comes back in obvious pain?"

"The very one"

"...How do you think Hogwarts would react to me coming there and making it clear that Hermione Granger is not to be touched?"

"I think that this is something for the whole team."

"Everyone? Even the Capsicle?"

"Even the Capsicle," Mycroft agrees, making it clear what he thinks of the nickname

"Okay, if you say so, Big Brother."

"I do say so Anthony, you need the team on board before the end of break, before Hermione goes back to school, so you can make that dramatic entrance you like to do,"

"I take offence of that," is said in an overly offended way.

"I'm sure you do."

"Fine, I'll leave you be. This will take a while."

"Goodbye Anthony"

"Goodbye Mycroft," Tony Stark replies before hanging up, he had a team to convince.

Hogwarts Express (After Christmas Break)

Hermione, and Luna find themselves in a compartment hiding from a couple of red-haired menaces. The door slides open, and two heads of red pop in, Hermione looks up and takes in the faces of the newcomers, once she sees who they are she relaxes. The two identical brothers sit down across from each other with grim faces. "What's wrong? What happened," Hermione asks worriedly, tensing once again.

"Nothing…"

"Really…"

"It's just…"

"Hogwarts will be…"

"Having some visitors…"

"They will be…"

"Coming in during…"

"Dinner, and we haven't…"

"Been able to figure…"

"Anything out about them," Fred and George Weasley bounce back and forth in their usual manner, almost giving Hermione a headache. She decides to not worry about it and recommends the twins and Luna to do the same. They spend the rest of the train ride in companionable silence with the twins huddled over some papers communicating in whispers, Luna reading the Quibbler upside-down and Hermione switching between books she got for Christmas when she finishes one going to the next one. They all get out and start heading towards the carriages when an owl lands on Hermione's shoulder, looking at it she recognizes him as Mycroft's owl. She looks at his leg and sees a letter. Once she gets it off, she opens the letter and reads it, it says no more hiding relations. Hermione quickly glances around hoping that there is no one paying attention and quickly, quietly and efficiently she burns the paper. Shrugging off the odd feeling the letter gave her, she leads the group to the nearest carriage, unfortunately right as the Thestrals are about to start moving, Ronald and Ginevra Weasley hop onto the carriage, and greet Hermione and Neville warmly, while barely acknowledging the twins and Luna. The carriage ride up is spent catching up with Ron and Ginny about their break. Once they reach the castle entrance hall, they all get out and head to the Great Hall and go their separate ways; the twins heading to their friend Lee Jordan who stayed during the holidays, Luna heading to the Ravenclaw table, Ginny heading over to her year mates. Ron and Hermione head over to Harry and sit down on each of his sides, Hermione on his right and Ron on his left. Once everyone is seated at their tables Dumbledore stands up and everyone quiets.

"Welcome back students, I hope you all had a wonderful break. Before we all tuck into the amazing food the elves prepared for us, I have a couple announcements. First off, Mr. Filch would like me to tell you that he has once again updated the list of banned objects. The other thing I would like to introduce a group of people here to help with teaching in our new classes, -I know its late in the year for new classes but they have been busy since the beginning of the year- the classes will be required for every year group this school year. Please welcome the Avengers!"

Right as he finishes talking the doors slam open in a fashion not unlike last year with Moody. Once Hermione's brain registers what Dumbledore said she blanches. Seconds later she relaxes, realizing what Mycroft's letter meant. Dumbledore starts speaking again, "I would like to introduce, Black Widow, also known as Natasha Romanoff," Natasha steps forward then gets back into the group. "Ironman, or Tony Stark," Tony steps forward and takes a bow, then retreats back to the group. "Thor, Prince of Asgard," Thor does the same as Tony. "Captain America, less well known as Steve Rogers," said captain steps forward and waves, then steps back. "Next we have Bruce Banner, or the Hulk," Bruce just waves from his position in the group of gathered Avengers. "And last but certainly not least we have Hawkeye, also known as Clint Barton," Clint follows Natasha's lead and just steps forward and back, no theatrics involved. During this whole thing Hermione is sitting on the edge of her seat waiting for Dumbledore to finish with the introductions; while they were happening, many people had turned so they could see the Avengers better. Even the Purebloods who had no idea who they were, wanting to see what the big fuss was about. Dumbledore waves his hand, and the staff table lengthens making spots for the Avengers, "STUDENTS!" he yells getting the attention of the distracted young witches and wizards, "I am giving everyone a free day tomorrow to ask the Avengers any questions that you have, and to study. So, if you didn't do your homework over the holiday, I recommend you work on it. One final thing, tuck in," once he sits down, the food appears in front of the students and staff. Conversations start up again, this time though it's about the Avengers; mainly trying to explain them to the Purebloods and Half-Bloods who are unaware. Hermione is about to turn back to her conversation with Ron and Harry when suddenly she is grabbed from behind and being strangled to death through a hug.

Laughing Hermione exclaims, "Ant, put me down!"

"No, I don't think I will," is what she hears from behind her.

"Fine then, two can play at that game," She retorts, "CLINT! Help me please! Ant is hugging me to death." She glances at Harry and Ronald; both are giving her strange looks. Ignoring them she proceeds to look at Clint with puppy eyes. He comes over with a knife in his hand, casually putting the knife up on Anthony Stark's throat he asks what the hell he's doing with his sister in a deadly calm way.

"Your sister?!?!" Tony asks incredulously, "Hermione is MY SISTER, Birdbrain."

"YOUR sister, Stark?" Clint replies just as incredulously, "She's my father's and mummy's child."

Tony is about to retort when his brain catches up to what Clint said, "OH!" Tony exclaims, "You're one of daddy's children."

Clint realizes what Tony means by 'one of daddy's children' and after a second looks at Hermione as if to berate her for not telling him, but instead of finding her still wrapped up in Tony's arms he sees her curled up in a ball on the floor with tears running down her face…

A/N: I know, I am evil, I think… I hope…. maybe one day. How was it? Please review, it helps me write faster. Constructive criticism is allowed, but please be nice about it; I don't have someone Betaing this and I don't plan on that happening with any of my stories. If you find something wrong, please let me know and I will do my best to fix it, the next time I put up a chapter.
