"'Fess up, T. You spiked the punch, didn't you?"
Trixie turns around and furrows her brows at the young woman before her.
"Huh?"
"Nevermind, I'm about four years too early." Rory says and continues, "I'm Rory, Lucifer and Chloe's...friend."
"Cool, I'm Trixie. Maze's bestfriend,"
"I thought Lucifer was Maze's besftfriend?"
"No way! I love Lucifer, but no way."
"You...love him huh? Why?"
"Well, because he's funny and weird and really bad at board games."
"Lucifer plays board games?"
"At least once a week. On game night."
"You guys have a game night? You never told me that."
"What do you mean? I just met you," The urchin says matter-of-factly, a little weirded out. "Why does it...who are you again?"
Out of nowhere, Rory answers, "I'm your little sister from the future."
Trixie nods, "Mmkay. So, did I become the President of Mars?"
Aurora gets taken aback by the question, or rather how her big sister doesn't look surprised at all.
"So you believe me?"
Trixie shrugs, "I mean, why not? I know for a fact that Lucifer's the actual devil. He told me when we first met at my school, so it's not at all impossible for my mom and him to produce their own offspring. Also,"
Her little big sister beckons her to come closer and whispers in her ear, "They've been having that naked cuddle time nonstop since last month. I mean, that's what Maze told me, so it's only a matter of time. Is she pregnant right now?"
"I-I don't actually know," Rory stammers.
"I take it you time traveled? Why? And you haven't answered my question."
"Uhhh, I wanted to know why Lucifer abandoned us. And... I can't tell you if you did or didn't become the president of Mars."
"Buzzkill. Well, there must be a good reason why he left. He's been really good to my mom and me ever since my... Dad died. He did a lot of things for us, and he's like the Step-Satan I never had. Will have. Or something."
"Why do you have so much faith in him?"
"Why don't you?"
"Becauseā¦"
"Anyway, this party is for grown-ups. How about you babysit me instead, hmm? I just overheard mom talking to Olga. I like her, but she makes me sleep early even when it's not a school night."
"Sounds like fun."
"Great. So tell Mom we're going. It doesn't look like you're enjoying anyway."
Lucifer and Chloe are on the dance floor, not even a minute in when the former spots Rory walking away while Trixie goes to Chloe.
"You're leaving? Maze has just finished her third tequila...bottle."
"Yeah, going with T."
"T? Oh! Trixie, wait a minuteā¦."
"Don't sweat it. She's smart, and I really don't want to talk to you right now."
Lucifer sighs while Chloe leads Trixie back to where father and daughter are standing awkwardly.
"So Trixie said you wanted to babysit?"
"Yeah. She knows Mom." Chloe does a double-take but doesn't say anything.
"Enjoy the party, Mom; I'm pretty sure Rory and I will have a great time."
"Uhhh... yeah." Chloe reluctantly agrees, a little taken aback by what just transpired.
"Well, shall we go back to the dance floor, my love?"
"I guess so,"
But even before they could start that slow dance, Ella takes over the microphone for a major meltdown of the century.
Nay, the end of the world.
