The elevator doors open, and the first person, or we'll, ghost now is Daniel. He stares at him wide-eyed but doesn't say anything because he doesn't want to upset Chloe.

How did Dan even get back to Earth in the first place? He thinks to himself, but then Dan screams "Lucifer look out!" and an angel comes at him like a raging bull, pinning him to the wall with her bladed wings pointed to his throat.

"Now I can finally get my revenge!" The other angel spats.

"Hey!" Chloe grabs the flaming sword's key from her pocket and clenches her first, ready to punch the lights out of this random angel.

But in an unexpected turn of events, the young lady with the pink-streaked hair sheaths her wings and immediately backs away.

"Mom," She mutters as if she's relieved and horrified at seeing her mother's younger self at the same time.

"What?"

Lucifer fixes his cuffs after recovering from the surprise assault and tells the angel, "Who are you? You are definitely not one of my siblings. Nice wings, by the way. They're probably a nightmare to preen,"

"I'm your daughter."

"You have a daughter?"

"I have a daughter?"

Chloe and Lucifer, respectively, blurts out in unison, unsure of how to react.

"I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, Chloe."

"Why won't you tell me this? I thought we were past keeping secrets?"

"We are past keeping secrets! I can't keep a secret if I don't know what the secret is!"

The young lady stands there, watching the exchange. This must be what it would have looked like if he stayed put. They would argue like this and... no.

"Hang on, guys! I'm your daughter, Mom. He's the father, unfortunately."

"Sorry, you're our kid? How…?"

"I'm Rory, from the future."

Lucifer and Chloe exchange glances. Even though it sounds far-fetched, it's not at all impossible, given the former's celestial nature. She must have self-actualized or something.

"Your name is Rory?"

"Short for Aurora."

Aurora, a name she would have given if she had another daughter.

"Oh wow."

"Now, hold on a second Chloe,"

"Lucifer, look me in the eyes and tell me if I'm lying."

Chloe gives a nod of approval, but she feels this girl is telling the truth.

So Lucifer stares into Rory's eyes and feels it in his gut that he knows this lady even though he only met her once.

"Oh."

And so, the quest to find out what really happened begins.
