Lucifer holds Chloe's hands in the OR as the doctors deliver their twins via c-section. A few minutes later and their baby girl is out. They clean her up a bit before placing her on Chloe's chest for that skin-to-skin contact and then taken away again after about a minute or two.

Not even five minutes later, their little boy is delivered as well. Like their little girl, he's placed on his mother's chest and then taken to the side for further cleanup.

"Well done, my love."

Chloe wakes up in her private suite (of course, it's a suite because it's Lucifer) and sees her boyfriend holding the twins on each arm.

"They look cozy," She utters, and Lucifer looks up.

"Oh, you're awake. Yes, these babies are obviously comfortable. This suit is an Armani, after all."

Chloe resists the urge to roll her eyes at the quip.

"Let me take one off your hands," She waves him over, and he lets her choose which baby she would want to hold first.

Chloe takes Zain and then plants a kiss on Rory's head.

"They're perfect."

"They are indeed." Lucifer stares at his beloved intently, and Chloe can't help but question his antics.

"What?"

He doesn't answer right away as he quickly thinks it over. Then he decides there's no need to overthink, and his next words came as easy as breathing.

"Will you marry me, Chloe Jane Decker?"

The blonde smiles, eyes glazed with tears of joy, obviously taken by surprise.

There's no way she'll turn this man down.

"Yes."

They held an intimate wedding at the beach, officiated by Linda, again, a few weeks later.

Sundays are lazy days. The twins are a year old, and Trixie's fourteen, and it's been absolute chaos on some days, but most days were pure bliss.

And today is one of those happy days.

Lucifer is lying on Chloe's lap while she absent-mindedly cards her fingers through his hair. They decided on a rom-com after endlessly flicking through movies and series titles.

On the other hand, the twins are inside their little playpen while Trixie is busy browsing her phone.

Chloe turns her head and sees Rory standing up. The little girl wobbles for a bit but doesn't lose her balance and then attempts to take a step.

Chloe taps Lucifer's shoulder and points at their children, Trixie too, who quickly switches her camera on to capture the moment.

Zain copies his sister's action and attempts to take a step as well. Both succeeded for a few seconds before falling on their butts.

A burst of applause grabbed the twin's attention, and they giggled and clapped as well.

It's a little weird how such a small feat can bring so much joy.

At three years old, the twins sprout wings. Chloe is mortified when the toddlers decide to take a plunge from the second-floor window to the garden. (how they managed to get up the second floor over the baby fence is still quite a mystery)

Good thing Lucifer got there just in time to catch the giggling little buggers who have yet to learn how to use their wings properly but jumped anyway.

He wonders where they got that impulsive nature — oh wait.

Lucifer makes a mad dash towards the twins' school after receiving a call from the principal. Unfortunately, they couldn't get a hold of Chloe (because she's probably neck-deep on their current serial killer case), so he's the obvious choice.

AmenaGod knows he's still wary of children that aren't his own or Charlie, so he usually begs off on these little trips unless Chloe's with him or specifically asks him to. Not that he doesn't want to be there for his children. He just doesn't like the other children with them.

Good thing he delayed his Hell commute today, or else they would have called Linda or Maze. Linda's probably the next best choice if he isn't available. But the thought of Maze strolling in the school is something else entirely.

Lucifer spots Zain and Rory sitting outside the principal'S office. The Lord of Hell sees the bruise on his little boy's eyes when the said boy looks up, and it makes the former want to tear whoever it was to pieces.

"I'll have this rectified in no time, spawn."

Zain clearly didn't understand. All the younger twin knows is that their mom will not be pleased.

"Mr. Morningstar, these are the Morgans."

"Can't say it's a pleasure to meet you, seeing as how your little imp lay a hand on mine."

Mrs. Morgan scoffed at Lucifer, and this only irked the Devil more.

"For all we know, it was your children that started the fight."

"Actually, Mrs. Morgan, it's your kid who started the fight," Principal Howard intervenes.

Lucifer smirked at the woman while Mr. Morgan looked away. Clearly, the wife is in charge of the relationship if the way the husband flinches is any indication. Not that he minds letting the wife be in charge, but his definition of marriage means being partners in every way.

The couple in front of the Devil doesn't seem like partners at all.

This is going to be a long day.

Chloe is not pleased that Zain got into a fight, but Lucifer is still seething at the audacity of one scrawny human laying a finger on their offspring.

"I should drag that imp to Hell myself."

"The kid is seven, Lucifer."

"So?'

"So, no."

"Well, we are definitely suing, my dear."

"Is that really necessary?"

"Well, the boy's parents insist that our child started the fight even when a handful of kids said the opposite. Clearly, there's injustice. And I obviously don't hit children, and you said that dragging it to Hell isn't an option so, let's take them to court! I'm pretty sure my lawyers will have a field day with this. Makes me wish Charlotte was still here,"

"Sorry, Mom and Dad. That boy was teasing R and was about to punch her, so I took the hit. Should I have hit him first?"

"Definitely,"

"No."

His parents answer in unison, but his mother frowns at his Dad for some reason.

Before they could discuss further, Maze bursts in, fuming.

"Who do I have to kill, hmmm?"

Chloe runs her hands over her face. Not only does she have to deal with the lord of hell but now with a demon, too.

Oh, wait. She also has to deal with their eldest daughter.

"Wha- why does my brother have a black eye?"

"It's okay, T."

"No way. Tell me who it is, and I'll kick their butt."

Maze crosses her arms, smirks then nods. As expected of Trixie.

"No, no, no. That's not necessary, Trixie."

"Mommy's right," Rory finally speaks. "I already kicked him in the no-no touch-touch square."

Lucifer grins, "Well played, offspring!"

Chloe groans. It would seem she's the only adult in the room.

Trixie goes home one night (drove at least 3 hrs from her dorm), eyes red from crying too much. Chloe knows what it's all about and offers her eldest a hug. The twins follow suit and do the same, even offering to fly out to hunt the dummy who made their favorite sister cry.

"Don't worry, T. I'll call Auntie Maze; she'll know what to do." Rory offers while Chloe shakes her head at how sweet her children are to one another and is horrified at the fact that they could put a bounty on anyone's head for free.

Maze would do anything for these kids, so there's that—poor chap. But, perhaps as Lieutenant, she could also do something — except sensible Chloe wouldn't.

"Aaw, thanks, R. I feel a lot better now."

"Then why are you still crying, T?" Zain asks.

"I just miss you guys so much."

Rory then whispers to Trixie's ears, "I have chocolate in my room. Do you want some? But don't tell Mommy."

Trixie smiles at this and nods, look at their mom, and give her a knowing look.

Chloe then knows her eldest is going to be okay.

But maybe she should at least do a background check on that prick…

Trixie marries the love of her life and has a child of their own a year later. Chloe was promoted to Captain while the twins were off to college.

Since then, it's been quiet in their home, but the kids visit at least three times a month, sometimes more, because Chloe is about to turn 60, and they wanted to be around her as often as possible.

Their Dad tells them not to worry since they know what the afterlife is like. Still, it doesn't change the fact that once Chloe leaves the mortal plane, she can never go back. Sure, traveling to Heaven and Hell is possible, but not on Earth. Or perhaps, AmenaGod could do something about it.

Lucifer makes a mental note to consult with that new God about these 'ghost' rules.

Rory and Zain are by Trixie's side when she finally breathes her last. This was many, many years after their mother passed on.

She was accompanied by Azrael to the gates, alongside the twins who's visiting for the first time. (They promised Trixie they'd visit the Silver City together)

Trixie is greeted by her parents, Amenadiel the Lucifer, and all their loved ones who passed on before them.

Chloe and Lucifer descend to Hell after the welcome party to continue their work as consultants while training demons on the side on how to categorize each soul.

It's a daunting task, but there's nothing the partners can't do. Partners for eternity, indeed.
