"So, yesterday was fun wasn't it?" I said trying to break through the awkward silence. They just stared at me unamused. "I didn't listen yesterday I was distracted so if you could tell me what exactly going on that would be much appreciated." I smiled nervously knowing that I was about to get in trouble with all of them.

"Really? You don't remember anything from the meeting yesterday?" A lady to the left said. I nodded and winced. She just sighed and looked at me like I just kicked her favorite puppy. "You are going to Camelot with Emerys and the king to study magic with Emerys, you will take Faolan along with you for protection and so we can communicate with you long distance." I nodded along as she said the last phrase, I got slightly worried because Faolan wasn't paying attention last night as well.

"Does Faolan know? We were distracting each other all last night"

"Not yet I was assuming that he knew already." She sighed and looked at me disapprovingly. Even if I was 18, I was known for my childish antics and impulsive behavior. I was very popular with the little children but with older adults I was a little more of a loose cannon.

"One last question that doesn't really have anything to do with the matter at hand. About my vision and how we are going to deal with the problem with the king and his wife?"

No one answered but I could tell from the look on everyone's face that they didn't know what to do other than offer to help with magic. I sighed then left the tent to go gather my things.

I didn't see Faolan until I had my bag full of clothes and some books packed and waiting by the opening of my tent. I was talking with my parents who kept mothering me to the point where it was slightly insufferable. I was sad to see them go but happy because I would get some more freedom.

"Adrastea," I heard Faolan say outside the tent. "It is almost time for us to leave"

I yelled back ok and turned to my mother who engulfed me in a hug in which my little siblings and dad joined in.

"Adra, do you have to go?" My youngest sibling said looking very sad

"Yup, but I will get you something from Camelot when I come back, how about that?" I said trying to make it seem exciting and not something I was secretly dreading.

After a couple more minutes of goodbyes and farewells I grabbed my pack swung it on my sholders and went to go meet Faolan on the edge of the camp. My mother and father both walked me to the edge of the camp. The whole way they kept telling me to not forget to eat, wash daily, write to them every day and other small things that were making it hard to leave. Finally, we reached the edge of the camp where Faolan had a bag just like mine on his back. There were also two knights of Camelot there with horses. Probably to help us make it to Camelot by night fall. There were also some elders there as well.

"Hi," one of the knights said when he saw me. "I'm Sir Gwain, and that over there," he said pointing to the other knight "Is Sir, Elion"

"I assume you already know us," Faolan said they nodded, and he continued "Well I for one am really tired so let's get going so I can get to sleep sooner."

"Is all you think about sleep?" Adrastea said

"No, I think about food as well." Faolan said

"Both of you quite it you have a long ride ahead of you, so you'll need to get going." My father said cutting in.

"Agreed I want to get back to Camelot as soon as possible" Sir Gwain said. We all agreed and go ready to leave. Soon all of us mounted our horses and rode off towards Camelot.

During the ride Faolan and I joked around and got to know Gwain and Elion as they wanted us to call them. Apparently Gwain was married to a bottle of Beer, and Elion is the brother of the queen. Gwain seems like he is only slightly sober, but Elion says he hasn't drunk anything since last night and said that's just how he is. Soon enough the sun was going to reach the horizon and we could see Camelot in the distance.

We reached the gates and by then my butt was sore from sitting in the saddle and from being rubbed raw. We would have made it to Camelot sooner but Faolan and I were very inexperienced riders, so we had to stop everyone in a while to rest our legs and butt. When we entered the gates, people stopped and stared at us, or rather at Faolan and I. We were wearing our druid cloaks not thinking about how the people of Camelot would react. Faolan and I both pulled our cloaks hoods further down our face to hide ourselves. Gwain and Elion both hurried up to the castle before anyone could do anything.

I saw the king and Queen on the steps leading up to the Castle. Both in regale clothing with the knights surrounding them. To the left of the king was Emerys. Gwain and Elion got off their horses and bowed Faolan and I followed suit but didn't bow as deeply as they did.

"Welcome Adrastea and Faolan of the druids" King Aruther said when we straitened our backs. We both nodded confused at what to do now. I glanced at Faolan at the same time he looked over at me. His face was asking what to do now but I just shrugged at him.

"Merlin will show you where you will be staying then you can join Gwen and I at dinner to give you a break from the ride." King Aruther said. Merlin then stepped forward and helped us with our bags.

"I'm glad you guys could make it. You'll be staying in the castle in the guest quarters."

Once Faolan and I had gotten our bags off the horses we followed Merlin who was carrying my bags. We were lead through the castle which was a maze with no end in sight. Eventually Merlin stopped and guided Faolan into one room and then said my room was right across from his. My room was huge, with a huge bed and even a window. There was a huge wardrobe and a changing stall thing. Everything was decorated in red and gold colors as a reminder that we are in Camelot. The room was decorated with some flowers and other symbols of Camelot. I set down my bag on the bed then someone walk in. I turned around to see Merlin and Faolan both walk in.

"The room looks very comfortable thanks for that." I said before anyone said anything.

"You're welcome," Merlin said, "Do you want to change quickly before we go down to dinner."

I nodded and the guys walked out and shut the door so I could change. I quickly spread my clothes out on the bed, most of them pants, and other men's clothing. The two dress I had where both well-worn and a little tatted. I chose the blue one pulled it one bushed my hair out a little then opened the door where Faolan and Merlin were waiting for me. Now that I looked at Faolan he was dressed in his nicest clothes, which were still very worn down. Merlin I couldn't tell if he was wearing fancy clothes or not. They were clean though which I took as a good thing.

Merlin led us through the castle Faolan and I walking together behind him. There where guards patrolling through the castle. All the hallways seemed similar and I was amazed how anyone could find their way around. Soon enough we reached some big doors with guards on both sides. Merlin nodded to the guards and they opened the door. He didn't even give Faolan and me any time to mentally prepare ourselves.

It looked like a feast was prepared for us with how much food was on the table. The king and Queen both sat at the end of the table. The looked a little more casual than they did when they greeted us, although they still looked a little dressed up for the dinner. Faolan and I glanced at each other then stepped into the room after Merlin.
