I was met with a large room that was decorated with the colors and symbols of Camelot. There was a rectangular table that was in the middle of the room that had food set out as well as plate for eating. The king and queen where sitting at the head of the table while Merlin walked up and sat at the right side of the King.
"Welcome again to Camelot!" The king said standing up and gesturing for Faolan and I to sit down. I went and sat next the queen and Faolan sat next to me.
"So, is there anything you want to know while you will be staying here?" The queen said
"Not really it's just kind of learn as we go." Faolan said I nodded along with him there wasn't really anything I wanted to know at the moment. Tomorrow or later but right not now. The king and Queen along with Merlin start grabbing food so Faolan and I did the same. The conversation was hard to keep going. I didn't really feel like talking and the queen kept trying to get Faolan and I to talk.
On the other hand, to food was amazing! I almost didn't want to stop eating but I was full, so I did stop, not without sneaking some food into my pockets to save for later. I caught sight of Faolan doing the same thing, I laughed silently to myself.
"So, Faolan and Adrastea I was thinking of giving you a tour of Camelot tomorrow." The king said I was surprised that he would let us do that.
"Sure, that would be wonderful your Majesty." I answered beating Faolan before he could say anything.
"Don't forget that soon Adrastea we have to work on your magic." Merlin said I nodded in his direction.
"One more thing I think that you should know your Majesty," I said turning to the queen. "I have visions of you getting captured by Morgana be careful." There was a soft gasp from her, and I smiled apologetically at her.
"I also think that you are going to have a pleasant surprise soon." I said smiling
"What do you mean?" The Queen asked, "Arthur why haven't you said anything to me!"
Arthur looked scared, as he should be angry women are a forced to be reconned with.
"I was trying to keep you safe and," The Queen intruped him before he could finish
"I would be better protected if you told me about things like this so I could be careful!"
"I know but I didn't want you to worry!" The king shouted. Faolan and I both sat quietly smiling at each other, we are used to this type of argument between older people. At this point it would be repeating the same thing repeatedly. So, I turned to Faolan at the same time he turned to me. We knew each other so well.
"I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight with the new and strange environment." Faolan said
"We could share a room tonight if you want" I offered. Sometimes when we couldn't sleep Faolan and I slept in the same room. It happened sometimes with us moving around so much.
"Sounds good, also tomorrow do you think we will get a chance to go to the forest. I need to contact the elders."
"I think so, if not we can ask."
"On that lovely note I'll escort Faolan and Adrastea to bed," Merlin said interrupting the arguing Queen and King. Faolan and I both laughed quietly to ourselves as they continued fighting and Merlin got in on the action.
Eventually all three stopped arguing and settled down. At this point Merlin had gotten food thrown on him from the king and the queen had won the argument. At this point Faolan and I had just sat back and watched them all fight, and we grabbed more food for later. When they finally realized Faolan and I were watching the damage had already done I could never unsee the moment where Aruther dumped food all over Merlin.
"Well, Faolan that was fun to watch" I said while they looked at both of us in shock.
"That really was, well I'm tired so let's head to be." Faolan responded. We both stood up and walked away laughing silently to ourselves. The three behind us stood up and started walking to meet up with us.
"I'll show you to your rooms," Merlin says as he reaches up. We both nod at him and he leads the way. Soon we are back to our rooms and Merlin leaves us I turn to Faolan and say,
"Five minutes and I'll be ready; do you want to come to my room or me go to yours?"
"Yours" he answers simply I nod and turn to my room and get ready for bed. Changing into some worn out shirts from my dad, they were big on me but very comfortable, I pulled on some pants from my dad as well and used a string to make it so it wouldn't fall. I let my hair fall louse and brushed it so it wouldn't get too tangled. A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I opened it up and saw Faolan wearing a lose shirt and pants like me. He was also holding some extra pillows.
I let him in, and we climbed on the huge bed. He laid out the pillows and made himself comfortable, I did the same thing. Soon Faolan used his magic to blow out all the candles so the room was dark.
"Do you think the people will be accepting of us?" I say quietly turning to Faolan.
"I'm honestly not really sure, I think there will be mixed results."
"Yeah, I'm just worried with Morgana going to attack and then adding the peace between the druids, I'm not sure how everything will work out."
"What the great seer of the druids, confused by her visions?" Faolan said making fun of me
"ha, ha real funny Faolan." I said dryly, "Go to sleep wolf boy"
"You too, Sad seer."
After that we laid down and tried to get some sleep. It was hard for me with the new environment. My eyes soon adjusted to the darkness and just staired at random stuff in the room. Soon my eyes drifted shut and I was taken away to the land of dreams.
A woman was hunched over and crying in the corner wearing all black. She had black hair that was dripping wet. Her sobs echoed around the room. I took this chance to look around the room. It looked like we were in some kind of cave with a pool of water to the right. It looked freezing and, I could see her breaths in the cool air. She turned around and I stumbled backwards, it was Morgana. She didn't look upset or like she had just been sobbing.
"Well, I was expecting another visit from you soon, but not quite this soon." She said smirking.
"What?" I stammered confused "How are you doing this?"
"Dear, I'm not doing anything. Your mind connected with my dreams." Morgana said still smirking, "Although your powers are very strong and I would gladly help you control them, so you don't have any more late-night visits."
"What do you want Morgana?" I said trying to sound strong, but I knew it came out weak and pathetic.
"Nothing at the moment, just waiting for you to realizes that I'm your only option with controlling your magic as the only other magic seer."
"That will never happen, Merlin is going to teach me!" I yelled her eyes darkened at the mention of Merlin.
"Oh, so that traitor is going to teach you." Morgana said quietly a deadly look in her eyes. "Well good luck with that Adrastea."
I didn't say anything and started backing up trying to wake myself up. She was looking unstable like she would kill anyone that looked at her wrong.
"My dear you aren't going anywhere" Morgan said appearing beside me and grabbing my hair forcing me to look at her. Grabbing my hands with her other hand she pulled them behind my back so I couldn't fight back with them.
"Let me go!" I yelled at her, but she just smirked and tightened her grip. I cried out much to my displeasure.
I felt my magic start to rise but since I was in a dream I wasn't sure if it would affect my waking body or just the dream. Hopefully nothing bad would happen to Faolan. But with my panic at not being able to move my magic was doing the work of building up my power to protect myself for. I could feel my magic start to leak out into my surroundings, but I couldn't see anything happen in the dream.
"Let ME GO!" I yell at her and stomped on her foot. With a shout of surprised she lets go of me turning around I shove her away and she stumbles backwards. Turning away from her I start running away from her. An earthquake started shaking everything up and my vision started to waver and break apart like a ripple in the pond. I feel the dream start to rip apart at the seams.
My eyes shot open and I sat up quickly looking around the room panting with fear and exhaustion. My magic was making things around me float and there was a small fire on the table where some flowers were. Faolan was shouting my name and Merlin, Arthur, and Gwen where there looking at me with concern. Merlin spoke some strange language and the fire stopped and the floating objects dropped.
"Adrastea are you ok?" Faolan said when he saw me looking around in confusion. I felt sweat all over my body and I felt more tired than when I fell asleep.
"What, what happened?" I stammered out, I was feeling slightly dizzy and the room started to fade in and out of focus.
"Adrastea, are you feeling well?" Merlin said and he walked over to me. I tried nodding but it made the room spin even more. I didn't even have the strength to keep myself sitting up and I fell back onto the bed. I heard shouting but couldn't make out what things where being said. I couldn't breathe correctly, and I started panting to try and get air in my lungs. I felt my temp. rise once more and I tried to move all the blankets off of me. But I felt so weak I couldn't really do anything. Black spots appeared in my vision and I felt myself pass out.
