"You chose the historical file 21-10-22." Said a robotic female voice "Humanity, a race whose only known war for most of their history. Some say that not everything about humanity is war, which would be true. Some things were created for the civilian population until the military found a use for it. But no this story isn't about the achievements mankind has made, no this story is about contact with alien civilizations.

In the year of 1498 Christopher Columbus, a Spanish explorer hired by the Portuguese royal family to find a new trade route to India, made a remarkable discovery of a new world. To the European empires in the old world this was great, but horrible for the people who were already living there.

But this story isn't about a discovery by mankind but from being from a fantasy world who stumbled upon a world different from their understanding.

The first Renaissance, a time of change and advancement for both man and foreign worlds, in the year 2022 man began the mass production of the machine at the same time though he discovered that he wasn't alone in the universe.

The elves from an foreign world made a shocking discovery: a world of highly advanced magic that isn't magic.

To the elves earth looked like a world they didn't understand. To earth it was a world that bent physics to the casters will.

At the time both sides were somewhat aware of their existence. Man with highly advanced particle accelerators which began acting strange and showing glimpses of another world one would call a fantasy world one of magic.

Soon Switzerland made a shocking discovery that they can open a portal to another world, and soon other countries followed suit.

The portals, although small were large enough to have a small drone fit threw them, and man began to secretly study the other world. They first called the world beta but they would soon learn it went by another name Elysia.

The elves, the most advanced nation in Elysia, soon began to study humans as well. Soon both world governments began publishing the existence of a foreign world with life.

Since both worlds were studying each other they would soon learn that they knew about the fact they were both aware of one another.

Even though the Elves weren't the first to arrive on earth, anomalies occurred where people or entire families would get teleported to each other's world by unknown means.

One of these companies called Cover Corp who specializes in collecting, studying and hiring these foreign beings for the entertainment industry were soon to revealed that their Idols who were officially speaking were normal humans behind a screen and a highly advanced software camera revealed that most of their idols that weren't human were from this other world.

Meanwhile on earth, missing people reports that were never solved began having speculation of people getting sent to the other world, and as such some began to speculate that summoning to use humans to defeat powerful beings that threaten their world sprung up. Although no actual evidence of people getting summoned on purpose were never revealed to the public at the time.

But it did occur and as such would deeply sour each world's relationships. But the General populous would ignore it as long as it didn't affect their daily lives. They were fine with it, and as such both worlds people prospered from interworld trade.

Both sides were at peace for decades, as they enjoyed the luxuries brought to them by the machines. But the first signs of unrest began to occur, goods from earth were cheaply made and were produced in such large quantities that local blacksmiths couldn't keep up with drastically better quality of goods which were in higher quantities so many lost their jobs.

And as such a tourist from Elysia from the Beastmen Union attacked a spokesperson on the street, in the U.S. The beastmen had lost his job in his home and so in anger went to the U.S to exact revenge, and as such massive outrage within the U.S and surrounding countries occurred. Soon more violence by beast man and other worlders on Earth soon occurred.

This would be the end of the First Renaissance, one of peace but history has shown time and time against humans always somehow ending up in conflict.
