GENDO'S CONDO
The faint scent of perfume and alcohol wafted through the air, as two individuals laid naked in a bed. They sat next to each other, contemplating their next move.
". . . You had a lot of stress built up… I'm still rather sore from last night…"
Naoko said, pulling out her phone and checking the time.
"I have a lot going on. The Council is up to something and I think the incident with Balthazar has to do with it."
"You really think so?"
"Mm. Kaji has been doing some work for me."
He turned away and sighed. He scratched his bearded chin before speaking again.
"Jacques is staying here officially on Diplomatic Stay. Meaning he is here on good faith between countries. But I feel like he has some more motives than that. He might be a spy for the Chairmen."

"I see… I'm going to use the bathroom."
"Mm."
Shinji and Asuka
MISATO'S APARTMENT
12:12 PM JST
Shinji and Asuka aat next to each other playing a game. Their competitive nature towards one another made the air tense. They were playing an old fighting game that they both loved.
"Dodge this you filthy casual!"
Asuka quickly thumbed the joystick in several directions to create a combo move.
Shinji's character quickly fell to Asuka's quick strikes and fell over, causing a KO.
"Damn it."
"Hohoho! Best 2 out of 6?"
Shinji sighed and got up, stretching his arms.
"You beat me fair and square… Several times…"
Asuka gave a cheeky grin.
"Are you giving up?"
"Yeah I am."
She chuckled and turned off the game, standing up behind him.
Shinji was nervous, He was afraid to ask her…

Rei and Ritsuko

"So, essentially the Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell."
Ritsuko set down the textbook and took a sip of her water bottle.
"Thanks for helping me with my homework Ritsuko."
Rei said, stretching in her chair. Today was a long day of studying. She did Social Studies first, then English, then Math and now Biology.
She looked at the ground and saw the cat wandering around and meowing.
"Hi Kitty!"
Rei said, kneeling next to the cat and petting it.
"Rei, Grab your stuff."
"Why?"
"We're going to the hospital."
Misato and Kaji
3:10 PM JST
MISATO'S CAR
"What do you mean sabotaged? The council did that?"
Misato asked, keeping her hands firmly on the steering wheel.
"Yes, And I have a feeling they won't stop at this to let Gendo know that he can't leave now."

"Hello?"
Misato said, answering the phone.
The car suddenly swerved around.
"We are on our way!"
She hung up and focused on the road, which was now incoming traffic.
"What happened?
"Naoko and Gendo got in a car accident."
