Training In IceClan
I awoke early the next morning at dawn, and Snowleaf introduced me to IceClan's leader, Ivystar, she was really nice and she agreed to let me stay in the Clan for a while. Snowleaf and Wolfpaw both trained me and taught me about herbs and other things that I would need to know if I wanted to become a medicine cat.
"Hi, Cinderpaw." I turned to see Wolfpaw run up to me with a bright smile on her face. I had gained my apprentice name when Snowleaf and Wolfpaw mentored me.
"Hi to you too, Wolf." say, and she laughs quietly at the nickname. I had been with IceClan for a few days now but I'm learning a lot from Graypool. I really miss Lightningpaw, Leafpaw, Shadepaw, Nightpaw, Bluepaw, Foxpaw, Silverpaw, Spottedpaw and Firepaw. And I knew that I needed to get back to LightningClan ASAP.
"Hay, are you in there, Cinderpaw?" Wolfpaw asked, tapping my head with a paw as I blinked and returned to my conversation with Wolfpaw, Willowpaw, Sparkpaw and Pikapaw. They were all nice friends but I wasn't as close to them as I was with my denmates back in LightningClan where I needed to be.
"Oh! I uh... I'm sorry, Sparkpaw. It's just... It's just that I need to get back to LightningClan" I say, and Willowpaw frowns and stares at me with sad green eyes. I sighed and looked down at my paws.
"But you've come so far in only a few days, and we've all come to like you Cinderpaw. You're a IceClan born kit but yet you were raised in LightningClan." Sparkpaw explained, and I nodded at her statement. I liked being here but my home, my heart, and my loyalty lies with LightningClan.
"If it really means that much to you, Cinderpaw, then we'll help you get back to LightningClan." Wolfpaw says, with a determined nod and a warm smile on her face. I smiled greatly at my friends as we made a plan of how to get back to LightningClan.
"Your almost ready to become a full-fledged medicine cat, is that excititing, Cinderpaw?" Willowpaw exclaimed, with a bright smile and an excited swipe of her tail. I laughed at Willow's bubbly and energetic personality.
"I know right. Isn't that exciting?" I say, and they all nod their heads in agreement.
"Now c'mon, Cinderpaw! Let's go see Snowleaf, she still has a few things left to teach you." Wolfpaw says, and I nod, stand up and follow her to Snowleaf's den.
"Hello, Snowleaf." I greeted the old cat as I entered the medicine den with Wolfpaw following close behind. The silver-blue she-cat looked up when I entered and she smiled at with pride shining in her eyes.
"Your Clan will be very proud of you when you get back. You'll be a full-fledged medicine cat." I nodded, smiling widely at the thought of seeing the shocked faces of my Clanmates. But I had a secret that only my new friends and of course, Snowleaf, knew that I was expecting kits.
I had met a hansom tom while staying with IceClan. He has jet black fur and amber eyes, his name's Nightcloud. I of course told hm the news and he was overjoyed, but he became sadden when I told him that I had to leave and return back to IceClan.
"But, Cinderpaw... What about our kits? We wouldn't want them raised in between two Clans would we?" He asked, and I sighed and looked down at my paws.
"I'll come back and visit, Nightcloud. I promise, I will." I say, and he nods and licks my face, causing my whole face to feel hot. I blushed and lowered my head.
"Bye, Nightcloud. I love you." I say, giving him one last lick before heading into the tunnel that lead into LightningClan's territory.
