Chapter 4: Monty Proposes
It's been three months since Rebecca and Mr. Burns began dating, and Monty wants his life to be full of happiness and love. Just the day before he had bought the shiniest diamond ring he could find, he is now outside of the Gilded Truffle with Rebecca. He and her were on their thirtieth date, and Rebecca had been waiting for Monty to pop the question. Monty grabs her hands and says, "My dear, this is our thirtieth date, and I know you love me very much." He gets on one knee, letting go of her right hand.
He is still holding her left hand, and says, "I hope you say yes to this question.." He pulls out the box holding the ring, "Will you.." opening it he finishes his question, "marry me?" Rebecca tears up, she then puts her other hand on the man's shoulder, "OH MONTY! YES!"
He stands up, hugs her, she hugs back, he then states this while pulling the ring out and putting it on her right ring finger, "Thank you, dearest." Rebecca tells Monty how she's been waiting weeks for this moment.
