True Love for the Wealthy
Chapter 5: Wedding Day
Monty had decided to let Rebecca's mother plan the wedding for him and his dearest. Rebecca told her brother, Kevin that he'll be the best man. The bridesmaids are going to be Rebecca's sister, Tiffany, her aunt, Marge, and Mindy Simmons. Monty invited the employees at the Power Plant to the wedding, Rebecca invited her family and best friends, Sideshow Bob and his brother, Cecil.
The day of the wedding, Monty is dressing in his tuxedo while talking to Smithers who is helping him dress, "Waylon, I applaud your ability to get over me.", "I applaud you on finding love, sir." Smithers states. "You'll find true love one day. You should've married Michael though." Burns tells his friend. Smithers tells Burns that he couldn't marry Michael on account of how he treated his puppy.
Meanwhile, Rebecca is getting dressed with the help of the bridesmaids. Marge tells her how happy she is for her, Tiffany states, "I always thought you'd marry Bob, the homocidal maniac." Rebecca tells her, "He was too much of a criminal for my tastes. Plus he's engaged to that Cassandra chick now.
Soon the couple is standing with Reverend Lovejoy. The crowd listens to him read the bible and tell stories. Soon enough he reachs the point of vows, and tells everyone there, "These two have their own vows." Mr. Burns then tells Rebecca while facing her, "After losing my beloved Lyla, and after Gloria Jailbird dumped me, I thought love would never favor me. But meeting you, and you being with me, I learned love has its own plans. I love you." Rebecca tears up, then says to Monty, "Monty, I always envisioned a lover, and he would be handsome and kind. When I met you, I realized I found that lover."
Lovejoy then asks Burns, "Do you take Rebecca Simpson to be your wife?" (I'm not typing all the other stuff) Monty says that he will. Lovejoy then asks Rebecca, "Do you take Monty Burns to be your husband?" Rebecca says that she will. The two then kiss after Lovejoy says, "You may now kiss the bride!"
