Part 3 - Day After Christmas

After the Cullens had left home, same with the rest of them too leaving for their own places around midnight, Bella and Michael went upstairs to her old room at her dad's place, the first thing they did was to shut the windows shut and then Michael screwed them shut with nails down into the houseframe without waking the rest of the house up from it, then they pulled on some new curtains as the old ones were all ratty and gross looking, so the new ones were dark out-curtains.

Soon after doing so, they also stripped the bed off the old ratty sheets, and on with their own, that they took with themselves to this trip, then they finally got out of their clothes into some PJs, and after some quiet love-making, they fell asleep in each other's arms. Luckily no children around to accidently see them this way either in the morning, as they had been back home with the boys a few times, but they knew what adults did in bed and what it was called by, and they were ok with it enough despite young ages.

Next morning, the two woke up, and got a shower together, after getting themselves ready for the day ahead, as they would leave tonight, so they could be back home around noon-2 PM the next day or so. Depending on traffic and so on of course. They came down holding hands and smiling faces, and walked into the kitchen, and went ahead to cook breakfast, as the others seemed not be awake yet. Just them for now, which was ok, as they were discussing low to each other, what they should do today before leaving tonight when the others in the house was back in their beds and sleeping good.

They came up to go and visit some places that Bella had been at, while living in Forks, and see if they saw any of her high-school friends or acquianctes of sorts of them. So the Diner, driving by the High School, Hospital, Outfitters where she worked at, to the beach down in La Push and sit on that beach and just watch the frozen waters for a while, before coming back to Charlie and Sue's and hopefully they would get some hot lunch after being outside in the rather bitter cold shock the town gotten themselves over and into by the weather.

So while Bella stood by the stove, doing the eggs and bacons, Michael was fixing up the sandwiches and other things for breakfast, as he was great making those things, while she was more homely with the stove afterall. The others who was her father, Sue, Leah and Seth who both staying over the night as neither were married or had any children yet in ut their lives. Which Bella felt abit weird that they didnt have kids or were at least married, but she felt it is not really her business.

All of them sat down and watched the two going at it with how they usually did at home and so on. After all of them had eaten their breakfast, Leah and Seth left to go back to their own homes, and Sue and Charlie sat back with pleased looks of the breakfast they gotten today. Michael then asked them;

"How come that Seth and Leah was over too, don't they have a family or partner in life?"

He said in rather gentle voice, as Charlie looked abit taken back of the question he had asked, but Sue said

"Oh they do have a partner of their own, as they were here last night, you didnt see their partners, it was Sam and a girl named Nia. Although I have a feeling that Sam and Leah are on verge of breaking up for good this time around. But I could be wrong in it. Not really my business unless it is hurting my daugther in one way or another."

"I thought Sam was with Emily, your niece, Sue?"

"No it never worked out, so Emily went back home with a slight broken heart, but Sam went back to Leah for the last 2 years or so, and they were happy as far I know being back together. As for Emily, she is doing much better now, and has 2 children of her own."

"Oh well I am happy that Emily has moved on as best she could, as I know she was really in love with Sam, we talked about it before I left for college. And we did keep in touch over the years, but it been about a year since we last talked."

Sue smiled, so did Charlie, as Michael said

"And Seth and Nia are they going strong?"

"As far I know, they are really happy together and doing rather well. They have talked about children, but both are young still and want to take time to get to know each other and just be them for now."

Bella and Michael just smiled and nodded at that, as they agreed on that part too.

"So when is your birthday, Michael?"

"It is December 28th. I was my parents' fourth child, later second, as my two oldest brothers died in a drowning accident at age 4 and 5 years old. My parents were supposed to have 9 children in total, but only 7 are alive now. 1 girl and 6 boys."

"Bloody hell, wow. Well that is one big family you have, and also I am sorry you lost two brothers too."

"Thanks, I dont remember as I was just 1 year old, when it happened, but my older brother and only sister does. As Lesley my sister is oldest of us all, she was born soon after losing the two first ones. Then Matthew, myself, Patrick Jr, Eddie, Clay and last Ryan. Ryan is about a year older than Bella."

Bella just smiled and held his hand, as it was difficult to talk about those two who didnt make through childhood years to adult years. But it was easier to talk about them these times around at least.

"So what do you wish for your birthday, Michael?" Michael said

"Oh now I am adult and not that materialist anymore like I was in teenage years, I dont wish for anything but being happy that I am healthy and being happy with how my life is like. And that I have an amazing woman by my side and have my family with her too."

Bella just smiled happily and kissed his cheek, as she had plans for his day when they got back home tomorrow afternoon or so to gift him with. Charlie looked abit bummed out of his answer, but he just shrugged it off like nothing, as Sue said

"So what is your plans for today to do then?"

"Oh we are going to drive around town, to see places that Bella visited or was at/in at the time she lived here, and then to the diner if you aren't home for lunch time, we will have lunch then and there."

"We are both going off to our shifts today, as we took the day off yesterday, so we have to go back to our normal routine of work again, so we wont be back until tonight around 6 PM."

"Alright, then we will fix the dinner tonight, and have a hearty lunch at the diner as planned, Baby."

Bella nodded, as her father's breath hitched at the use of baby like that, but none of them took notice of it either, not even Sue did. But she looked abit shocked of the use too. Soon they had to leave for work, while Bella and Michael got themselves ready for the ride around town and down to La Push, then around noon-1 PM they would have their lunch at the diner.

So off they went to their drive, and at 12 they arrived outside the diner and after locking their car, they took hands and walked into the diner, as most stared for most of them didnt even recognise Bella anymore as she had changed and also the bump visable they didnt know who they were. They went up to the counter, to take a table and menu's to look through before deciding what for lunch they wanted.

After contemplating, they agreed on having each a pasta dish with chicken and a steak with potatoes, aswell for desert to take home with them to eat there instead, they chose two pieces of chocolate cake. Drinks they chose two Cokes. Then they sat talking to each other while waiting on their food and drinks, they could see peoples' curiousity on who they were.

As they did so, people came in and sat down too, then they looked over to their table, and recognised them aswell, as they had been at the christmas celebration and gasped of the sight of the two there, and it was none other Alice, Jasper and Edward, soon the rest of the family came in and sat down too, and Alice no issues to say anything, told the rest of the family whoelse also was here in the diner, and they too looked over, but Michael and Bella had just been given their drinks, and soon after their food also came to them, and they went on to eat their meal.

Edward sat there looking at them, or Bella rather, while Alice shook her head at what the two had chosen to wear that day, and Rosalie had her sneer/glare on her face, while the others tried their best to not stare or anything, not that they knew that Bella and Michael had seen them and seen their looks was the same ones like yesterday. But neither cared too much of it, and after being done, their waitress came around, and they two asked both the recipt and for two large pieces of chocolate cake to take with them to go back with to Charlie and Sue's house to eat it there instead.

Carlisle looked shocked of their request of such cake and large pieces too, while Esme was still hurting of yesterday being called Mrs Cullen by Bella. But before the two could leave, a nasal voice disrupted the two's thinking and doings to get themselves ready to leave, for it said

"Bella is that you?!" Bella turned after an annoyed sigh, and said

"Yes, Lauren, it is me. Why do you ask?" Most looked shocked of her tone being abit on the ruder side, and Lauren grinned evilly, and said

"And who is this with you, your lover?!" Bella rolled her eyes, as Michael said

"No I am Michael, Bella's husband. Now lets go, baby. We have other things to do." At that Bella nodded her head, and only gave a nasty look to Lauren, who stood in shocked manner, and the two got first their two large pieces of chocolate cake and left pay with some extra money with it, telling the girl to keep the change. And the girl smiled widely and thanked the two, then they left everyone in shocked manner in there, and went out to their car and went back to Charlie and Sue's.

After eating most of the cake pieces, they decided to eat it later in the car-ride, and then they went upstairs to start their packing up the gifts and so forth, then also got some of the things they had used, to be washed in the washing machine, while Bella cleaned the room up as best she could for now. Michael helped her out with other areas too.

Meanwhile the rest of the town had heard about Bella and this Michael who said he was her husband, but some didnt want to believe that she of all peoples were married or anything like it. But Lauren had also said that Bella looked like she was pregnant too. It shocked the people even more so than just news her being married woman.

Mike Newton, Tyler Crowley to say the least were shocked abit hurt that their favorite girl to torture and make uncomfortable around themselves, was a married woman. Angela was shocked but also hurt as the two had seemed to been good friends at the graduation. So she was hurt that she wasnt told nor invited to her wedding day, if it even happened. Jessica and Lauren had fun to spread lies and stuff about Bella all over again like back in High School days. Not that Bella knew, at least they didnt think she knew what they had said about her back then.

After being done with all their chores and clothes being cleaned and dry again, they took off to travel down to La Push and drive around for few hours as they were going to have the dinner done around 6 PM so Charlie and Sue would be back home to hot meal on the table. Not that they knew that the Cullens were going to invite them in to their home for dinner yet.

Soon after coming home, the house phone rang and Bella answered it by saying Swan's house, and it was her dad, telling them that that dinner would be at the Cullens' place tonight and Bella said fine to that, and soon after some small talk they hung up for now, and Bella told Michael of the change of plans for dinner time, so they got themselves ready for a dinner at the Cullens despite being rather uncomfortable about it all, but decided to come anyways. So they packed the car up, as it was not visable of all their stuff in it either, as it was rather big vehicle they took this time as they knew presents would be on large side.

So after getting themselves ready with Bella wearing a very beautiful, oversized red/black/white dress, Michael had his red, longsleeved buttom-up shirt and pair of black fancier pants, and shoes and their jackets on, and then they took off towards the Cullens' house for dinner. Hopefully it would go well tonight like yesterday evening with christmas and all. Sue and Charlie would see them there instead at home, so they arrived and rang the bell on the door, and soon after being let in, they met up with Charlie and Sue, who arrived just few minutes before themselves.
