Midoriya seemed to be in an empty void, with nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see. Yet, he couldn't help but give off a grin as eight cement thrones gathered and were laid out in front of him. With said thrones having 6 people who were rightfully glaring at him with hatred while two were giving it to him from the back leaning on a wall due to the events in the last few minutes.

"So... You finally got it. Tell me, did you plan this from the start? To take One for All for yourself?", the seventh user: Nana Shimura growled as she bore her eyes down at the teen.

"Not initially", he shrugged as he honestly answered, "I didn't even know One for All existed before All for One told me about it. But once I heard about it...", a sneer grew on his freckled face, "I just knew I had to have it to achieve my goals."

Midoriya could practically feel the anger radiating between the eight figures, with a ninth one slowly forming beside the All Might vestige.

"What will you do? Give it to my brother? Will that finally ache the pain in your heart?", the first questioned.

"...No."

The vestiges were surprised by his answer, their anger simmering for just a second before looking at each other hesitantly and back at the teen.

"No...? Then what will you do then?", the third faced away from the wall slightly to question him.

"I will use it for what it was intended for: To take town All for One. However!", he interrupted himself seeing the relieved faces, "I will use it to rebuild society from scratch, by destroying the foundation like Tomura wanted."

The rage once again built up like a volcano, nearly overwhelming the teen as he withstood the glares and shouts of the inheritors.

"You can't do that!"

"We will stop you!"

"Your failure is only inevitable, we will stop you before doing anything else.", the first said as he looked at the teen with a furrowed brow.

"ONE FOR ALL IS NOTHING BUT A LEGACY OF FAILURE!"

The voices once again quieted down to look at him in shock, their voices seemingly caught in their throat as they gaze upon the utter rage in the green-haired teen. Before the first three users jolted in shock as he pointed his index finger towards them, his body shaking in fury as he gazed upon them with sickly pools of emerald.

"You were there when All for One was at the height of his power! With the first user being there even before his quirk came in. And you all just LET IT HAPPEN!", he then shifted towards Nana as she flinched at Midoriya's gaze.

"You abandoned your child, causing the rise of a hurt and scared grandson who followed the words of your sworn enemy. Also letting ideals grow into your successor that is the cause of pain and suffering for me and so many others.", he growled out as he caused Nana to lower her head in shame.

He pointed towards the faint All Might ghost who also lowered his head, but wasn't able to avoid the inevitable lashing. "I already spoke to you about your failure, but let's repeat it for all the others to hear.", he growled out as he stomped his way towards his ex-idol.

"Failed to defeat All for One but managed to severely hurt him, which makes my job easier for me. So thanks for THAT I guess.", he growled out as he rolled his eyes, "The symbol of peace, the protector of Japan, the one who brings hope to everyone everywhere!", he couldn't help but let out a large laugh before narrowing his eyes in annoyance, "Everyone except those who needed to keep their dreams, 'Realistic'. 'The symbol of peace', what a joke."

"Then we have the newcomer, little number ninth: Miro Togata."

The newly formed vestige looked on in fear, after having the quirk ripped right out of him not moments ago. Yet was a bit startled to see the greenette look at him in sympathy.

"I see a lot of myself in you Togata. You looked up to the ideals of All Might and the other inheritors, even at the risk of your health and safety. Perhaps in another life, I could've been in your shoes carrying out All Might's desire to have a new symbol.", Midoriya sighed almost regrettably, "But it seems it was just not meant to be."

After his little rant, he looked with a firm, determine gaze bore into the eyes of the previous users as before turning his back on them. "The time for heroes and villains having their little squabbles is over. Now, there is only time for order."

He could hear the voices and shouts of the inheritors call out to him as he felt himself about to wake up. Ignoring them will be easy. He already did it for a decade before, what are a few more weeks more?

Same quirk as my other story 'Adaptability', but with a different origin that will be shown next time.
