(Adrien's POV)
It was a lovely day at the zoo. I felt like coming here to see the big cats since they can understand me while I'm eating my grinder sandwich. Right now, I was looking at the lions. The king of the jungle and the strongest cat in the world. The males protect his pride while the ladies do the hunting.
"Having a nice day, king of the beasts?" I said to the male lion.
It made a gruff groan noise, I take that as a yes. I took a bite on my sandwich while watching him go back to his queen and cub.
I then went to the black panthers to have a look at them. Just like I remember when Ladybug and I fought Animan. Good old times but those times are over. I'm no longer a superhero. I don't even know if I'm really a supervillain or an anti-hero to Paris. I mean after helping Ladybug with the giant cobra, people are now questioning if I still have my heroic side. I ate the last piece of my sandwich and just went to the bench chair to sketch a panther in my sketchbook to later do graffiti art in my lair. Well I know they are either leopards or jaguars colored black. I never knew I can be an artist. I guess I just missed out on what I should be doing rather than being told by my father.
A few moments later I finished up the sketch. Who knew that doing art can bring inspiration? Plagg came out of my leather jacket for some air, "My little kitten has finally found his new hobby" He said.
"Yeah, to not get bored," I said.
Suddenly, the public is running away from something or someone. Okay? What is so scary this time? Where's Ladybug? Looks like I'm gonna have to find out for myself.
I hid in the men's bathroom, no one is in here which I can transform in peace, "I know I'm a criminal but whatever is going on out there, I can't let my father harm innocent people just to find the real me" I said to my kwami.
"He's your father, Adrien. I know you are free from him but it's like he wants you back in the family. Despite that he has only himself" Plagg said.
"I'm never going back to that depressing life! Plagg claws out!" I transformed into Cat Noir and head outside.
The animals in their exhibit went into hiding from whoever or whatever is startling them. Why are they looking at me like that? It's like they are scared of me. No, that's impossible. I may know that animals like Fang never lie but they do have feelings, to tell the truth.
I felt a cold ice breeze behind me and when I turned around, I came face to face to see a look-a-like person that looks like me but much sinister and dark. He had very dark red hair, yellow cat eyes, very pale skin, and a black catsuit. It's got to be a sentimonster because it can't possibly be the sculptor who was akumatized as Copycat in the past. Did my father create an evil cat of me or something?
"What the hell are you?" I asked with a serious tone.
"I am you, with the flaws removed." The Red Copycat smirked evilly but I replied with a punch.
"Really?" I said coldly.
Red Copycat got up and tries to hit me with his claws but I blocked every one of them. This sentimonster seems to have his own free will rather than follow orders. He has to have an amok somewhere on him but he's moving too fast like a cheetah.
"Do you have a name or should I call you Red Copycat?!" I tried to claw him but he grabbed my arm and kicked me in the gut, "Agh!" I was sent against the fence.
"You can call me Doppelgänger." He laughed evilly and held out his baton that contains a dagger on the end of the stick. He held it up and tries to stab me with it but I grabbed it and pushed it back, "Such a young kitten you are. It's no wonder my master wants you. Dead or alive" He pushed me back against the fence to trap me but I kicked him off.
"Not gonna happen!" I took out my staff.
He chuckled evilly and took dual pistols out of nowhere. Oh crap! I hate guns! Seriously?! I spun my staff rapidly to deflect the bullets. Is my father really willing to kill me?! Or did Doppelgänger go out of control to not follow orders? I gotta get him out of there before he hurts the innocents! I ran out of the zoo and let him chase me. Jeez, he's fast! He may not be human but he's very demonic than I thought!
"CATACLYSM!" He yelled and I hear the pavement of the street crackling and I fell along with the debris.
"Agh!" I landed in the sewers but I quickly got up with a dislocated shoulder that I can't move.
"You can run but you can't hide little kitten! I'll let you live until your purrecious lady comes and I take her miraculous!" Doppelgänger laughed sinisterly and jumped down to find me in this debris dust.
I gotta hide now before he finds me! I ran into the locker room to hide so that I can help Plagg and myself recover.
"Claws in," I said and Plagg came out of my ring. I gotta pop my shoulder back. This is gonna hurt but I gotta move it.
"Kid, you okay?" Plagg asked but I groaned and smacked my shoulder against the locker door, hearing the joint socket crack which made me groan but at least I feel better that I can finally move my shoulder.
"We got to get away from him, he won't spare us. Quick, digest this." I gave him some cheddar.
"He's like the opposite of you. You're gonna need Ladybug to purify the amok" Plagg swallows the cheddar in whole.
"No kidding. I need her for the third time as an anti-hero. Plagg! Claws out!" I transformed again.
As I did I ran out the door to find Doppelgänger before he tries to harm Ladybug. She's gonna mistake him for me. I ran to the tunnel and heard her voice. Damn it, Ladybug! Get out of there!
I found her getting cornered by Doppelgänger aiming his guns at her but he didn't shoot her, just intimidating her.
"You can't be serious, Cat! You know that using the miraculous for evil will make you lose your mind!" She yelled in fear.
"I'm serious right now, Ladybug. For you see, I'm not Cat Noir. I'm Doppelgänger. The opposite of your precious kitten." He got closer to her and put the gun near her head, "Now be a good girl, Ladybug. This will all be over soon enough" He's about to take her earrings as I grabbed his wrist and threw him against the tunnel wall.
"That's a sentimonster, milady. I'm not letting him hurt you!" I ran up to Doppelgänger recovering. I gotta get his guns away from him! I don't like guns but I bet that shooting a sentimonster won't do anything. They are indestructible.
"Ladybug, we need to distract him," I said.
"Okay let's see. LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug used her lucky charm.
Doppelganger shot her yoyo that prevented Ladybug to summon her lucky charm. Damn it! He's right that he has no flaws! I'm gonna have to fight him while Ladybug gets out of here.
"AAARRRGGGHHH!" I charged at him and pounced, scratching his face but his skin is very thick and not a single scratch. He's not human which I knew. He kicked me off and did a backflip.
"Nice try! But you'll be gone with your lady being helpless!" He taunted me and claws at my chest.
"Argh! I'll find your amok, Doppelganger!" I punched him and quickly grabbed his guns so he doesn't try to kill me or my lady, "Looking for these?!" I held out his guns.
"I can do this too!" He pulled his tail like a whip and tries to lash at me but I dodged them by doing flips. I don't kill with guns but I gotta focus that he's not human nor can he be hurt like a man. I fired at him but he's way too fast.
"Hold still darn it!" I exclaimed and tried to get a good aim. He came right in front of me with a creepy smirk. I tried to shoot him but he dodged really fast. He was beside me trying to wrench the gun from my hand and I fired at him but I missed again. He appeared next to me again and I tried to fire but he grabs my arm and kicked my stomach three times and swoop me off my feet, grabbing his guns.
"Like I said, with the flaws removed. See you kitten!" He ran on all fours and disappeared.
I got up from my recovery, "ARGH!" I punched the wall in anger that he got away! If I wanna get rid of him, I have to go to that so-called home that I hate. He's too dangerous to be existing here.
"He got away! Darn it! Shadow Moth really got better controlling them." Ladybug said.
"No kidding, Ladybug," I replied glaring at the direction Doppelgänger went at. Right now I'm concerned for milady as I grabbed Ladybug's arm and pulled her close to me, moving her face to the side to make sure she's not injured or anything from that monster.
"Agh! What are you doing?!" Ladybug wasn't used to getting her personal space invaded.
"Making sure he hasn't hurt you or if both your miraculous are still there," I said.
"I'm fine, kitty. Despite how many times we fight each other, you still care about my well-being as a bad guy?" She asked in confusion.
"I can't risk that Shadow Moth get your miraculous or that you end up killed. Besides, you know how much I've sacrificed while I was still your partner." I said.
"Criminals don't help superheroes, kitty" Ladybug corrected me.
"This criminal has a heart, milady. I'm not like any other criminal that kills innocent people. And I saved your life again" I held her chin to make her look at me.
"Well, thank you again, kitty." Ladybug said.
"And you owe me a kiss. Even if you have no feelings for me but a prince like me always saves his lady" I flirted.
Ladybug smirked and pulled my face close to hers, kissing me on the lips, "For your luck." She pulled from the kiss.
"Meow. That makes your ego out of character, bugaboo. You never wanted to kiss me" I purred.
"First time was to conquer Dark Cupid's hate spell in you." Ladybug said.
"Well, that too. Anyways, see ya. This bad kitty needs to hunt mice and you might wanna use miraculous ladybugs to fix the hole" I said and did a blow kiss and left.

It was dusk and I was making my way to the Agreste mansion that I hate. It's time for dad to get rid of Doppelgänger for good. I see my father in his bedroom through the balcony window talking to Doppelgänger. Grrr! I am not a killer but my father has gone too far to create a monster to almost kill me and my lady.
I landed at the balcony and punched the glass door, grabbing their attention as I stepped on the glass shards.
"Cat Noir!" Father saw me.
"Yes! What the hell were you thinking?! You were gonna kill me and milady with Doppelgänger?!" I yelled.
Doppelgänger hissed at me like a cat, ready to kill me. I ran at him in such motion that I pulled at Doppelgänger's neck and threw him down to the floor.
"Stay down!" I hit him in the back head with my baton to knock him out but I know he'll recover quickly. I glared at my father and walked up to him but he tried to run to the door and I threw my baton at the door to prevent him from escaping me.
"Leaving so soon, father? I thought you allow villains in the house" I chuckled insanely and pounced him, "Scary, isn't it? To see your son who was once as sweet and innocent like his mother but now became a villain because of your betrayal" I removed his glasses and tossed them aside.
"You wouldn't dare!" He noticed I was raising my claws.
"You lecture me? How much suffering and pain is on your ledger, father?" I asked him about the times he akumatized victims and kept me in the dark.
"Remember, friendship makes you soft. I knew by it you can't abandon your special lady completely." He said.
"By sending a demonic Copycat with guns?" I snarled.
"With no flaws at all! You're still my son and you have disobeyed me for too long!" He yelled at me.
I was almost about to summon my cataclysm but I don't want that. I roared in anger and just scratched the side of the floor next to him. I'm not a murderer and I can't kill him like that. Ladybug would never wanna see me with blood on my hands.
"You're wrong, father! Friendship brings joy, strength, comfort, and happiness! You have no friends because everyone sees you as a secretive man with a cold attitude that never leaves the house!" I jumped up and did a backflip in midair because I sensed that Doppelgänger is awake. The bracelet on his wrist! That's gotta be where the amok is!
"Prepare to perish, Cat Noir!" Doppelgänger reaches for his guns when I leaped at him.
"You first!" I did the move he did to me earlier, grabbing his arm and kicking his stomach three times but it didn't stun him. I quickly did Ladybug's trademark move. Twisting his arm on and wrapped my legs between his neck and shoulder to pin him down, grabbing the bracelet and crushed it, releasing the amok. I can't purify it but I can destroy it.
"Cataclysm" I grabbed the amok with my destructive right hand, turning it to dust, and Doppelgänger dissolved into nothing. Finally! He's gone.
I stand up and walked towards my father who is backing away from me, scared to think I'm gonna claw his face but not like this. I grabbed my baton and put it behind my back, "If you ever kill me or Ladybug again, my claws will bring justice" I said with a low hiss.
He didn't say anything but I could see the fear in his eyes, "You've been warned!" I then said before leaving.

After warning my so-called father, I hid in the alley since I used cataclysm, I transformed back and caught Plagg in my palm to let him rest, "Eat up" I gave him Camembert.
"Thank you." He began munching on it.
"Gabriel better listen to my warning this time. As much as I wanna take his miraculous, I'm just not ready to face him again. I can't let Felix see that or he'll think I'm a killer" I said, pacing back and forth while waiting for Plagg to take his time eating his cheese.
"All done." Plagg finished eating.
"Plagg, claws out" I transformed back and decided to rob the jewelry store again since it's now nighttime. Still angry but now in the mood to rob and maybe fight a bad guy that might be there to rob the store.
I pole vaulted and ran on the roof to another until I landed with my trademark pose, walking up to the glass door and I see bad guys robbing the place. Puuurrrfect. Time for this cat to hunt mice. I clawed the glass to make a huge circle, putting the circled glass aside, and went through the hole I made.
"This is gonna take a soft hand, don't wanna set off the alarms." The thief I snuck behind said before turning but I moved swiftly out of the way after I made a noise.
"Bling bling, baby. Just what we came for." The other one said while I climb up a pillar.
I quietly crawled on all fours to sneak up on the crook that's near the ledge. Meow. I hope you'll have a nice fall! I kicked him off the edge and he fell, landing on the floor. I jumped down and cartwheel kicked another thief into a display which closed once he landed.
"Where the hell did you come from?!" One of the bad guys asked.
"This cat is full of surprises." I sneered at them.
"Not for long, kitty cat!" One of them pulled out a gun and fires at the crystal chandeliers, making them crash near me but I dodged in time.
I ran on all fours like a cat to dodge the bullets. I hope he runs out of it so I can knock him out cold, "Nice try but you'll never get me!" I taunted him.
He ran out of bullets and I tackled him down, "Cats have nine lives, dude. And deadly claws to scratch through the skin like this" I slowly used my claw finger to claw his cheek as blood oozed out slowly, making him whimper from the painful scratch.
Suddenly, I got kicked and rolled against the pillar, "Agh!"
"You're a psycho! It's time I put an end to you, teenager!" One of the bad guys was about to shoot me but I jumped in midair and stomped his arm, hearing the bone crunch.
"A psycho? No, I'm not the one using guns." I swooped him across the floor.
"Aaaahhh! You broke my arm!" He screamed and I see that his arm is bent.
"This is what happens when you try to shoot this cat," I replied.
The other bad guys chickened out that they can't beat me since I'm stronger, faster, and thirsty for blood like a panther. I do wanna taste their blood from my claws but I'm afraid I don't have time for that because I hear the sirens from the distance. It's time to quickly grab whatever I can get. I took some necklaces, rings, and some other solid gold objects.
"It's been fun, boys. But I just don't have time!" I pressed the alarm button. Time for this cat to get out of here as I made my way to the back door instead of the entrance door.
