Pandemonica yawns as she enters a coffee shop. She ran out of Hellfire Coffee Beans, and it was going to take a while for a new order to come in. She did find this shop and did have some normal coffee. It was a surprise, the coffee here was really good and the owner always greeting her with a smile. She walks up and stood at the counter.
"Hello, Pandemonica." The Owner smiles.
"Hi, Mr. Fresh." She said as he places a cup in front of her.
Pandemonica took the cup and drink it. Like times before, her horns grew, but this time her face was different. She was happy, there was no sign of her Sadist personality. Not very many people knew about this. She even thought of letting Danny know a few times, but she never brought it up.
"A demon that loves coffee. I still can't believe it." Mr. Fresh said.
"I understand. And we still have a hard time believing everyone here is not afraid of us." Pandemonica said.
"I guess if you're attacked by ghosts so many times, anything hardly surprises you anymore." He said.
"Yes, Danny Phantom does his best to keep everyone safe." Pandemonica smiles.
"Ah, him. The ghost that fights his own kind. It's been rumored that he has been starting up the attacks." Mr. Fresh said.
"And who said that?" Pandemonica asked.
"The Fenton's, though I think it because they have their own reasons, and Mayor Masters. From what I think, he must hold a grudge against him. For what, I can't say. But I can tell the boy is trying his best. I wish people would understand it's not his fault." Mr. Fresh said.
Pandemonica looks away. During her time in Amity Park, she discovers a lot of false crimes under Danny's name. One was the time Danny starting robbing places, however, she discovers that Danny's eyes were always green in his ghost form when they were red in the paper. Another false crime was the time the previous Mayor was held by Danny. However, she took a closer look and saw that it was the opposite, the Mayor was holding onto Danny. Making it look like he was holding the mayor.
She never talked to Danny about them, but she saw Danny was trying to clear his name. She already knew he was innocent.
"So, Pandemonica. How goes Hell Customer Sevice?" Mr. Fresh asked.
"Long and boring. Even after getting out of Hell, I still have to go back and make sure the citizens are doing fine until Judgment Day." She said.
"I see you trying to talk to that boy that brought you here. I know you told me that you're socially awkward, but it's clear that you are happy to be around him, even when breaking his fingers." Mr. Fresh said.
Pandemonica was quiet. She still rarely speaks with Danny. Most of the time, it was just to make her coffee and see how well he does. They might try to chat here and there, but her job and Danny trying to make time for the others made it hard for them to even talk for long. The only time she did get to spend time with Danny was when she visits Danny's school.
"Pandemonica, I know you for a few months now. Keeping quiet about this isn't going to make it better." Mr. Fresh said.
"I know. He's the first person to even off to make me a cup of coffee. I know he's learning, and he's getting better with every cup. But from the way the other girls act around him, I want to feel that too. Have him hang out around me and make me happy. Sadly, my job takes up most of my time." She said.
"Ever thought about trying to find someone to take over a few days?" Mr. Fresh asked.
"Yes, no one can do the job right." She said.
"Pandemonica, even a sadist has its limits. I can tell that you care for this soul very much. If you can't have time, then make time." Mr. Fresh said.
"Make time?" Pandemonica asked herself.
She then noticed another cup set down with a bag.
"Here you are, Pandemonica. I have you have a wonderful day." Mr. Fresh said.
Pandemonica blinks before smiling.
She walks down the street and drank her coffee. Mr. Fresh's words stay in her mind. Make time, that sounds hard, but she wanted to try.
"Pan?"
She put her coffee down and saw Danny, surprised to see her. There was something else, that nickname. She likes it. While she does wish Danny could say her full name, she has grown to like her nickname.
"Hello, Danny." She said.
"You're cheerful?" Danny asked.
She knew Danny never saw this side of her. She leads Danny over to an empty table and sat down. She explains that she ran out of Hellfire Coffee and was waiting for a new order. She found a little coffee shop a month ago when waiting for him to come back from school and met the owner. He was very nice to her and didn't treat her like a demon.
"Wow, making friends with others. You've came a long way, Pan." Danny said.
"I'm still going to have you make my coffee. I know it might not be as good Mr. Fresh's, but I know you are trying." She said, taking a sip.
"Yeah. Um, is Cerberus still under punishment?" Danny asked.
"She was let out this morning. We all heard what Dash said to you and Cerberus. I know Bitches could be another word for dogs at times, but Zdrada is the real bitch." Pandemonica said.
"Don't I know it. Is Lucifer still trying to figure out how she and Jazz can fuse?" Danny said, then asked.
"Yes, I even ask the citizens of Hell about that, and none of them heard of a human and demon fusing before," Pandemonica said.
"Well, I have likely reason," Danny said.
Pandemonica nodded. It was theorized that besides the close bond he shares with Malina, Danny's ghost powers might be the reason he was able to fusion with Malina. She could even find Lucifer thinking and sometimes grinning about it. She heard from Justice that she was picturing what her's and Danny's fusion would be like.
Pandemonica opens the bag and pulls out a donut and hands it to Danny. He blinks and takes it.
"Thanks...sorry, not use to this side of you," Danny said.
"It very rarely shows up. I might be tired all the time, and I mostly become a sadist, but I do care about you." Pandemonica said.
"You do?" Danny asked, taking a bite out of his donut.
"Yes. You're the first human to ever offer to make me coffee and the first to ever get some Hellfire Coffee Beans. Even when you saw my sadist side, you still let me hang around you. I want to learn more about you, Danny. But our jobs are making it hard to speak with each other for no longer than a few minutes." Pandemonica said.
"Yeah, I got to know the others well, but not you. I understand your job is tough, and I wish I could help in some form." Danny said.
Pandemonica smiles. Danny really did care for her. She really did want to make time for him, even if she ends up breaking his fingers most of the time. She recalls what Azazel said about Danny bringing out the light in them. The coffee might put a spring in her step, but it was Danny that made her feel really alive.
"Modeus and Malina told me about your dates with you. I might be a sadist most of the time, but even I'm curious about it." Pandemonica said.
"Pan, are you asking me out on a date?" Danny asked, surprise.
"Yes, yes, I am. You better impress me or I won't just break your fingers." Pandemonica said.
Danny sighs and shook his head.
"There's the Pan I know." He said.
"Let me get this straight you want a night off so you can go on a date?!" Lucifer asked, shocked.
"Yes, I want some time with Danny. We barely speak to each other. I want to know him some more." Pandemonica said.
"I get that, but are you really going on a date with him after you had your coffee?" Lucifer asked.
"Lucy is upset that you ask him out first. She has been planning to take Danny out for some time." Beelzebub said, smirking.
"YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" Lucifer shouted.
"Danny has treated me like a person, but I think it's time for us to really get to know each other. And not in the way Modeus thinks." Pandemonica said.
"But are you going as the Tired Demon or the Sadist Demon?" Modeus asked.
Pandemonica had to think about that. She was one of the few demons to carry two titles. If she went as the Sadist Demon, she could easily make the date bad, which Danny wouldn't like. If she went as the Tired Demon, she more likely falls asleep during the date. She pushes up her glasses and sighs.
"I cross that bridge later. Lucifer, I need someone to take my place and not one of those weaklings you call loyal followers." She said.
"Fine, I'll see what I can do," Lucifer said.
"Someone's jealous," Beelzebub said in a teasing voice.
"SHUT UP!" Lucifer yells.
Later that night, Pandemonica stood ready. She got a text from Danny that he was taking her out and didn't have to worry about dressing too nicely. She even asked him if she should go as the Tired Demon or the Sadist Demon. She got an answer and was surprised. He doesn't mean to upset her, but he wanted to take his chances with the Tired Demon. She did point out that she might fall asleep during it, but Danny assures her he will wake her up. So she avoided her coffee and waited for Danny to show.
There was a knock, and Cerberus actually opens the door. Cerberus wanted to stop being treated like a dog and started to act more like people. Like answering the door and welcoming people instead. When it came to Danny, they still jump on him once he was inside. Which is what they did when they close the door.
"Cerberus!" Danny cried out as the three girls hug him.
Pandemonica gave a small smile. Danny was different than most humans. She knew he made some bad choices, but he always tries to fix them. She sighs. Danny was signed to go to heaven when the time comes. Azazel would be able to see him a lot, but she and the others won't. Still, she was going to enjoy her time with him. If you don't have time, make time.
Pandemonica walks up, just as Danny got Cerberus off him.
"Pan, are you ready?" Danny asked.
"Yes, I didn't touch a cup of coffee today." She said, yawning.
"Again, I'm sorry, but I don't want to take chances with the Sadist on a date," Danny said.
"It's fine. I already know that dating a Sadist is not the best ideal date there is." Pandemonica said.
"Okay, Danny, before you go and before anyone else asks you, we're going on a date next!" Lucifer said.
"Lucy's jealous," Beelzebub said, walking by.
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!" Lucifer shouted.
"Fine, I have you mark after Judgement," Danny said.
"After?!" Lucifer shouted.
"Yeah, just a few minutes before I left, I got a text from her about a date as well. Told her about Pan, and she said she'll wait." Danny said.
Lucifer froze. Danny started to look worried, but Pandemonica stops him.
"Don't. She'll be fine. Let's just go." She said.
Danny looks confused but follows her out of the apartment. Just as he closes the door, though...
"COME THE FUCK ON! HE'S MY BOYFRIEND!"
They both just end up walking around the town, with Pandemonica yawning every now and there. Danny was started to rethink his choice.
"Maybe dating a Sadist wouldn't be that bad," Danny whispers.
"What?"
"Nothing."
Pandemonica had to admit, going on a date as the Tired Demon was...well, tiring. She spotted the coffee shop she goes to and headed there, causing Danny to run after her. She enters and saw Mr. Fresh was still working there.
"Ah, Pandemonica. This is a rare sight." He said.
"Good Evening, Mr. Fresh." She said as a cup was placed in front of her.
He then turns and saw Danny.
"Ah, Mr. Fenton. It's been a long time. My, you have grown." He said.
"Hey, Mr. F. Good to see you're still holding up," Danny said.
"You know him?" Pandemonica asked.
"Yeah, my parents use to come here all the time back when they were my age. The Nasty Burger didn't exist back then." Danny said.
"They still come over, even on their anniversary. Let them know that it still open." Mr. Fresh said.
"Will do, Mr. F." Danny said.
Pandemonica smiles. The two people she likes actually knew each other.
"So, stop any ghost lately?" Mr. Fresh asks as she drinks her coffee.
"Um, my parents are trying, but they really still working out the kinks," Danny said.
"I meant you, boy." Mr. Fresh said, causing Pandemonica to almost choke on her coffee.
"You know?" Danny asked.
"It's not that hard. I don't know how this town misses it, but turn your hair white and make your eyes green, and you look just like Danny Phantom in normal clothes." He said.
Pandemonica blinks. As part of their deal, she wasn't allowed to tell anyone Danny's secret, but Mr. Fresh discover it on his own.
"Don't worry, Daniel. I won't tell anyone, but let me say keep up the good work." He said, handing him a cup.
"Have a nice date you two." He said, shocking them both.
Danny and Pandemonica both walk down the street, still confuse and shock about what they learn.
"I guess not everyone is clueless," Danny said.
"I guess so." Pandemonica agrees.
Danny goes to take a sip before his ghost sense appears. He groans and looks at Pandemonica.
"Sorry, Pan. I just sense a ghost and I need to find and stop it." Danny said.
"It's fine. Do what you must." She said.
Danny nodded and ran off. Pandemonica sighs and took a sip of her coffee. This date was far different than Modeus and Malina's. Still, she was having a good time. Was this what it was like to hang out with someone? She goes to take another sip before she felt the ground shake. She was able to stay on her feet, but she notices her coffee was on the ground. She started to growl before hearing the sounds of a fight.
"Someone is going to get hurt! And it won't be by Danny!" She said and stomps towards the fight.
Okay, I didn't want to stop here, but I need a break. I do have Danny's and Pandemonica's fusion in mind, and I do plan on bringing it in. And if you guys are confused about the beginning, there is a comic that covers Pandemonica and Azazel about Pandemonica's third possible personality. It does show proof. I was able to read them. So Danny and Pandemonica were having a date, and I give a reason why they don't talk so much. In truth, while Pandemonica isn't my favorite demon, I really felt like I been ignoring her. Not to mention, I also got to cover nine other girls.
So, next chapter, Danny is going to be fighting the ghost that draws him away from Pandemonica, and they are going to get their fusion. It might take a while because there's another story I would like to update before New Years'.
