(Adrien's POV)
The next morning, I've been reading these ancient Chinese writings in the spellbook while mixing the potion. Ever since I ran away from prison life, the power-up Camembert cheese was left behind. If Shadow Moth creates a powerful sentimonster or an akumatized victim, I'm gonna need powerups. I may not be the best potion maker but I have taken chemistry class in the past.
"Spicy pepper should be the right one" I poured the last ingredient and the liquid turned from purple to green in a flash.
"Shouldn't you test it before you try it?" Plagg asked.
"I read the ancient writings 3 times, Plagg. I'm sure I got it right this time. It's no wonder Gabriel wanted me to take Chinese so that one day he would use me to read these spells" I said and poured the potion to the next bowl so I can put Camembert cheese in it. I have to wait an hour for it to be ready. I put the spellbook on my bookshelf to hide it in plain sight.
"And you're gonna workout to stay in shape, huh?" Plagg was guessing that I'm gonna do some work out on the punching bag as the real me.
"Yes. I gotta be strong and fierce like a wolf, Plagg. All bark and no bite" I chuckled and removed my leather jacket so I can do some good combat kicks at the dummy punching bag chained up at the ceiling. Then I threw some punches at the punching bag with all I had. Then I did a spin kick in midair. It's like women do kicks and men do punches, all the time when fighting.
I can do this all day. Saving up my nine lives would make this kitten strong and fast like a panther. I kicked the punching bag dummy as hard as I can to test my strength.
"Wow, you should try boxing," Plagg said.
"Nope, the risk for brain trauma," I said.
"Funny but I think you have the martial arts of a tiger than a cat," Plagg said, watching all my moves related to a tiger.
"If I had the tiger miraculous, yes. I've already unified mine with the snake one." I replied and did another kick at the punching back with a flip, hearing the chain giving out soon. I stopped knowing another blow will break it.
"Okay, that's enough, kitten. I think you already awaken your lion strength" Plagg rested on my head.
"It seems like I did, Plagg," I said and suddenly, my cats screeched in alarm that they can sense danger. I looked out the window and saw what looks like a storm cloud forming in the blue sky, creating a blizzard of snow covering the entire city.
"Oh boy! Time to power up!" I quickly went to the table and grabbed an ice blue Camembert cheese and tossed it to Plagg to eat it to turn into Plag-glacier.
"Plag-glacier, claws out!" I transformed into my ice form of Cat Noir just in time before the ice crackled inside my lair but it also froze my cats like ice statues.
"Don't worry I'll get you all thawed," I said before getting out.
Father, what have you done now?! I ice-skated on the streets and saw innocents frozen like icicles. Is Frozer behind this again? No, it can't be him. The last time Ladybug and I fought Frozer was he froze Paris into a giant ice rink.
This time is new and there's snow. Almost like an ice age era. Ladybug, where are you?! I hope you're powered up with the ice form.
I came to the Eiffel Tower and jumped up so I can get a good view. The storm is getting worse and the snow is building up, especially the river canals becoming ice along with boats too.
I tried to call her, waiting for an answer. My baton phone kept ringing, "Come in Ladybug. Come in."
"Cat burglar? Thank god. Are you seeing this?" Ladybug picked up.
I winced when she called me that, "Yes, I don't see a villain but I doubt it's Frozer. Where are you?"
"It's not Frozer. Chloe has gotten a classmate akumatized. She goes by Ice Age Queen and she's extremely dangerous. I'm at the high school" She explained the whole story.
"One of these days I'm gonna hunt Chloe for being irresponsible as always," I said with a low cat hiss.
"Well, I'm trying to hold her off." Ladybug replied
"I'm coming Ladybug." I hung up.
I jumped off the tower and grind on the rails with my ice skates to get to the bottom and skated to the school. If Chloe really did something to make a victim feel miserable, I am so gonna scare her to death until she learns about responsibilities.
I made it to the school and saw milady fighting an Elsa-like person all crystallized. If she's really Ice Age Queen, I need to observe what her strengths and weaknesses are.
I used my baton to zoom in with the camera mode to see where the akumatized object is. It's gotta be the tiara. Maybe this classmate was doing a play or something. I jumped up to the roof where milady is and I kicked the villain off the roof so that I can talk to Ladybug for a plan.
"Ladybug, I got a plan and I can tell it's a warm-up," I told Ladybug.
"Is that a metaphor of something hot to melt the ice?" Ladybug asked.
"Yes. Try to use your lucky charm." I suggested.
"Okay. Lucky charm!" Ladybug uses it and out came a lighter. That's too easy. I don't have time for this! It's time I do things my own way!
"I don't have time for this!" I got frustrated and I saw Ice Age Queen rising up to the roof and her tiara crown fires an ice beam at me but I dodged it.
"ENOUGH!" I yowled like a cat and pounced on the villain as we crashed into the roof and right through the classroom.
"Get off me you savage cat!" She was about fire again but I swiftly moved my head to the side and grabbed her crown.
"Shut up!" I headbutt her face to knock her out and skated out of here and found Ladybug in the lobby.
"We are supposed to work together!" Ladybug complained that I did this on my own.
I simply rolled my eyes that I don't care, "Just shut up and use the lighter to melt the crown. It has the akuma, milady. I like to get back to my criminal life" I handed her the crown for her to melt it since it's too thick to break it.
She held it at the middle of the tiara and it melted into two, releasing the akuma.
"No more evil doings for you Akuma!" Ladybug caught it and purified it, "Bye-bye little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" She threw the lighter high above and it scattered into ladybugs as it removed all ice and snow.
"Claws in" I de-transformed to my normal Cat Noir, "See you around, bugaboo," I said and made my way to leave so I can check on my cats.
"Goodbye, kitty." I could hear her say.

I came back to my lair and sighed in relief that my cats are okay. They tackled me down and snuggled, meowing, and purring on me. I didn't expect that but at least they are happy to be out of that ice.
"Thank goodness you're alright my babies." I petted them.
"Meow, meow, meow" They all meowed at me and the black cat licked my cheek in kindness.
"Aww, thanks." I chuckled.
I sit up so that I can breathe for a minute since these cats are being way too attached to me like I'm their daddy. I said my de-transformation words and Plagg flew out of my ring.
"Phew, it's warm again now," Plagg said.
"Yup. The villain is out of the ice now." I said.
"And your cats are happy to see you. It's like you're the daddy" Plagg laughed and I just rolled my eyes in annoyance that it's not funny.
"I'm their alpha, Plagg, remember that." I reminded him.
"Of course Adrien," Plagg said.
I stand up so I can go see if the Camembert power-ups are okay and colorized. I just hope the ice didn't ruin it.
Thankfully they weren't ruined. I sighed in relief that they're okay and not very ice cold. At least I managed to make powerups by myself. I wonder how long Master Fu managed to translate these ancient writings. Must have taken some time since he's over 100 years. Just like a turtle would live over a century old. I put the powerups in a container.
"There, they should be safe until next time," I said.
"Perhaps someday your lady might need someone like you to translate these spells for her" Plagg suggested.
"Once I trust her enough to be here. We're still no longer a duo so it takes time to fully gain her trust here." I said.
"Okay then." Plagg nodded.
"Now if you don't mind, I feel in the mood to meditate. Master Fu taught me a bit to calm my anxiety and stress ever since we first met" I went to take a yoga mat from underneath my bed and put it on the floor so I can sit in Indian style while the cats just cuddled next to me. Seriously? Oh well. I guess I need a bit of relaxing purring music from them. I closed my eyes as I started my meditate session. I inhaled slowly and exhaled out, doing some breathing exercises that Miss Bustier taught us about whenever we need something to help us relax.
I put my fist and palm together to breathe deeply to think of my emotions on the surface of a quiet deep lake. Breathing in and out slowly to relax while my cats are purring for me.
"Be all calm," I said quietly to myself.
My mind wanders in a field of roses. I purred in delight of the times I offer a rose to Ladybug but she rejects them. No! No! No! Don't feel love, Adrien! Do NOT feel love in your heart! No, No, No, No! Not that! We're done with our feelings! I'm done with feeling love in my heart! It's time to feel nothing in my heart! I took a deep breath to calm down. Deep breaths, Adrien. Master Fu told you the key to calming down is clearing your mind. Get rid of all the love for Ladybug in your heart, Adrien. Clear it! Don't love Ladybug but care about her well-being.
Soon I felt all relaxed. I opened my eyes to see my cats cuddled near me while I'm still crossed-legged. The black kitty came on my lap and stood on her hind legs and put her paws on my chest, meowing for attention.
"Good girl." I petted her.
"Aww…is my kitten becoming too soft for his kitties?" Plagg flew to my head to rest.
"You could say that again, Plagg," I said.
"And how do you feel about meditation? I saw you looked a little angry a second ago" Plagg asked while I'm petting my cats one at a time.
"I was trying to get rid of my romantic thoughts about Ladybug," I explained.
This made him gasp in shock, "You're getting rid of love in your heart?!"
"Is that wrong?" I asked with a brow raised.
"Love is needed to conquer hatred," Plagg said.
"And you kwamis can't fall in love," I said.
"This isn't about me, Adrien. This is about you. Even if you're a criminal, that doesn't mean you should learn to fill your heart with darkness" Plagg was worried I would end up like my father.
"It's already done, Plagg. I'm nothing like my father or any heartless people. First, my mother disappears, then my father treats me like a puppet, and now Ladybug has no feelings for me, I can't afford to feel anything. Love is blind and a fantasy. It really hurts to feel it" I put my cat down and stand up.
I tensed up and felt darkness in my veins, grabbing the dart and throwing it at the poster ad of my father in anger. All this time he treats me like a puppet instead of a real father! I should've clawed his face to make him feel the pain I suffered from.
"Then what about when you kissed Ladybug a few days ago?" Plagg said.
"That was different" I shook my head to make him get off, "It was like she's afraid to refuse or I would scratch her. Besides, I know she kissed me just to make me bring my good side" I crossed my arms.
"Don't try to deny it," Plagg said.
I rolled my eyes and just ignored him. Even if I am denying it, I don't wanna feel love ever again because I wasted my time on loving Ladybug and she does nothing but sees me as a friend the same way I see Marinette as a friend.
