Beastboy shot him a cold stare.
"Oh, come on baby," he snickered. "You know you want to stay locked up in this cage. You want to be with me."
Beastboy shot Adonis an even colder stare, "Go away."
"Oh come handsome, don't be like that. Think of all the good times we've had."
Beastboy felt like ripping Adonis apart with his bare hands.
"Y'know, when we both got sprayed by those chemicals because I tried to touch your girlfriend?"
"She's not my girlfriend."
Adonis cocked an eyebrow. "Oh really, that's not what I heard."
"And what exactly did you hear, Adonis?"
"Oh, nothing really. Just that you two have been getting busy and she came pregnant. Oh, with another guy of course."
"That's not true!" Beastboy rattled his cage with pure fury, "THAT – IS – NOT – TRUE!"
Adonis stepped back. He had never seen Beastboy this angry before. No one had.
Beastboy continued to rattle his cage dangerously. "THAT – IS – NOT – TRUE! DON'T YOU EVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT RAVEN AGAIN!"
Adonis started to shake. Beastboy had gone crazy. He looked around nervously.
"Remember, Adonis," he tried to reassure himself mentally, "Beastboy is a cage, there's no way –"
BANG! Adonis' thoughts were interrupted by the loud sound of metal snapping.
Beastboy had broken the cage. He was free. Beastboy was shaking with hatred.
Adonis was shaking with fear. "Hey, Beastboy, 'old buddy …" Adonis tried to reason "You didn't take me locking you up in a cage too seriously did you?" Adonis let out a fake quivering laugh. This however, did not make Beastboy want to forgive Adonis. It did the total opposite; It reminded him of what Adonis had done in the first place.
Adonis tried to run but Beastboy was too fast. He grabbed Adonis by his arm and swung him around into the wall. Adonis looked up, his battle suit smashed and dust form the inside of the wall floating around him. There was Beastboy standing over him hunched like a mad man with his hands clenched into fists. This was Beastboy's payback.
No mercy.
Beastboy grabbed Adonis' head and slammed it against the wall.
Adonis' vision went blurry and all he could see were white flashing lights behind his eyes. As Beastboy slammed Adonis' head against the wall again and again,
it was payback for every bad thing Adonis had ever done to him;
Fed him chemicals to temporarily take away his powers, Locked him up in a cage, touched him were he did not want to be touched, and made fun of Raven.
Beastboy couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to destroy Adonis.
Beastboy picked up the unconscious Adonis, swung him around and whacked him against the floor again, again and again.
"Beastboy!" Beastboy ignored them. He had to destroy Adonis. He had to kill him.
There were The Teen Titans, staring at Beastboy in horror.
Beastboy was breathing like he had just run a marathon and in his left hand, he was using Adonis like a club. Bashing him against the ground, each time a new patch of blood appearing on the floor. "Beastboy, no!"
