(Cat Noir's POV)
It was 2am and I'm at the nightclub drinking White Russian this time, with no vodka or ice since I don't want to get drunk or do anything stupid. I can't believe Ladybug thinks I'm a coward! She's one to talk! She's always insensitive to understand what I feel. But in a sense, she's right that I'm keeping the truth of Shadow Moth away from her. Never mind, I better keep my mind off her. If she said she's not holding back, I hope she does not risk becoming Evilbug.
"Give me another," I said to the bartender.
"But you just had 8 cups," He said.
"I said give me another!" I yelled since I'm not in a very good mood and he went to go refill another.
"Fine, but we're closing soon," The bartender said.
I hissed lowly like a cat and grabbed the cup and gulped it. 9 drinks, how ironic. 9 has been my favorite number.
"Aww…the poor kitty not having a good night?" Volpina took a seat next to me.
"Go away" I mumbled but she rubbed my very tense shoulders which kinda relaxed me with a long purr. Damn it! No! But I think I need it.
"Fighting your ex-partner again?" She guessed.
"Yes, she thought of me as a coward," I said.
"Poor kitty. Do you finally see what I see in her?" Volpina asked and played with my ponytail.
"Well that she's my number one enemy but I can't stop flirting with her," I said.
"Flirting is like drug addiction, kitty cat. You know she gets annoyed with that" Volpina sat on my lap. I simply let her since I don't feel in the mood to tell her to back off but I don't want her to do anything inappropriate.
"That may be true, Lila. But my heart is cold as ice right now. I don't want to feel love nor love anyone ever again" I glared and she scratched my chin.
"But for how long?" She smirked.
"That depends. I'm a lone wolf, Lila. I work alone and I don't want a new partner if that's what you're thinking" I put my arms around her waist. I may hate Lila Rossi and Volpina at the same time but she doesn't know I'm Adrien the whole time.
"I could take down Ladybug for you," Volpina suggested.
"No. If you ever hurt Ladybug, I'll claw you to death" I growled lowly. I may hate Ladybug but taking her down is something I would never ever do.
"She hurt your feelings. Don't you want revenge?" Volpina stroked his chest.
"Revenge has no justice in it. So don't even try to get me to change my mind." I moved her hands away from my chest. She can sit on my lap but I'm not letting her seduce me.
"Well that's a pity," Volpina said.
"Sorry, Volpina we can't be a duo. I want to be alone." I looked at the clock seeing it's almost closing time.
I pushed her off my lap and quickly finished my drink, "And, I don't like liars like you" I said and made my way to leave.
"Just wait, I will deal with her again and no mercy this time," Volpina said.
That got me pissed and with my cat speed, I pinned her against the glass wall, shattering it, "If you do that, my claws will make you bleed to death. Trust me, you have no idea what they can do. On second thought, how about this?!" I clawed her arm and blood was on my claws, licking the blood like a psycho just to scare her so she gets the message.
"AAARGH! Are you insane?!" She screamed in pain.
"No, just very feral like a cat. Do you want scars, Lila? Ever heard of the phrase of the boy who cried wolf?" I slowly clawed her arm, making sure she won't hurt Ladybug.
"Just STOP!" She screamed and kicks me off.
"Agh! Then I suggest you stay away from Ladybug! Don't make me take that akuma away from you!" I made a loud cat hiss which spooked her.
"Okay!" She yelps in fear and runs off.
She may be a liar but I hope she doesn't try to kill Milady. Paris still needs Ladybug because she's the only one who can capture akumas and repair the damage. While I'm just the criminal cat.

The next day, I decided to visit my princess since she's the only person that understands me. I made it to the balcony and saw her sitting on the beach chair.
"Cat Noir?" She saw me.
"Missed me purrincess?" I said and hopped down to the rails like a cat.
"What are you doing here? Don't you have like criminal things to do?" She asked nicely.
"Not for the moment today," I said, walking to her.
"Taking the day off from it, my minou?" Marinette asked and put her hand on my cheek.
"Yeah, after fighting Ladybug again, I so hate it when she interrupts my heists," I said.
"Oh kitty, kitty, kitty. Perhaps the roles have been reversed" Marinette giggled.
"You could say that. But seriously, am I being too mean and violent to her?" I asked.
"The way you've changed has scared people, especially when you lick blood some has witnessed," Marinette said.
"This isn't the life I chose, princess. I don't have a choice. It's never fun to me but I have to be scary to show intimidation. Do you think being nice is a way to get bad guys to back off?" I asked her as I sit at the beach chair and with her on my lap.
"No, but don't you think you're overdoing it too much?" Marinette asked as she played with my low ponytail.
"Well now that you mention it, I may have gone too far," I said.
"Perhaps but please don't get too much like a predator" Marinette scratched my chin.
"I'll try" I replied, purring softly.
"You bad kitty, how many times have you hunted mice, and when I mean mice, I mean bad guys," Marinette asked.
"A lot of them," I said while holding her close.
"If there was an akumatized person with the power of a fish-like Poseidon, would you eat him? Cats eat fish" Marinette teasing me about my feline nature.
"I could, as long he's fish food" I licked my lips.
"And I thought cats hate water" Marinette giggled.
"Not this cat. I'm brave to face my fear of water" I teased her.
"Especially the rain?" Marinette added.
"Yes, that too" I nodded and gently held her hand.
"Are you still angry at Ladybug?" Marinette asked.
"I'm not sure. Late last night I was angry at her for being so insensitive. Sure she makes mistakes of accidentally getting others akumatized but I don't know if she ever learns to not let history repeat itself. I on the other paw, I got the sculptor akumatized into Copycat in the past because he was jealous that Ladybug loves me. I just don't know if she takes things seriously because she cares about herself and the more she keeps doing that, the more that Shadow Moth preys on negative emotions" I explained, stroking her leg.
"She is doing all she can to keep the city safe and learns from her mistakes. And honestly Cat Noir, I'm scared too of your violent behavior with her" Marinette said.
"You shouldn't be afraid, princess" I assured her.
"But do you ever regret fighting the girl you love?" Marinette asked, stroking my hair.
"I do but I still hold a grudge of the day she threw me in the trash bin just because I was a broken record of declaring my love to her. It hurt me and I felt like giving up on impressing her" I said, clenching my fist.
"Then we hung out for a while." She reminded us of our date.
"But if I'm feeling honest, it's was my fault too, I was too open with my love to her, so I became less flirty" I added.
"But you still flirt with her again," Marinette said.
"Much less now," I replied.
"I saw the news you defeated her at the jewelry store with a flirt," Marinette said.
"Yeah, but ended up locking her in a janitor closet. So her turn in the trash." I chuckled at the karma.
"She's gonna be pissed that you did that" Marinette pouted.
"I'm not scared of her temper anymore, my princess. I find it cute and hilarious. Anyways, I got mice to hunt. If Ladybug gets in my way again, I'll be sure to charm her" I kissed her on the cheek.
"Good luck" Marinette blushed.
"See you around my purrincess" I winked and jumped off the balcony.

I managed to find the bad guys' hideout in the abandoned workshop. Meow! They got a chunk of euros. Must be my lucky day.
I crashed through the glass roof and landed in a different pose again, startling the bad guys, "Well, well, well. While the cat was away, these mice try to play" I chuckled with an evil grin.
"You! We'll tear your whiskers off!" One of them yelled.
"Meow, I like to see you try. This cat loves to scratch his prey" I extend my claws.
They all pulled their guns out to shoot at me. I ran up the walls and dodged them before they ran out of bullets. I jumped down easily scared at what I'm gonna do next. I unsheathed my claws and ran at full speed at them, scratching their chests one by one. It's gonna be so painful for them it would take a week to heal. I don't care if I scratched too hard. I'm a predator.
"Piece of cake guys." I chuckled and took up one of the guns and crushed it like a toy.
I saw them looking in pain and unable to move due to the painful sting of the claw marks. I chuckled and made my way to grab a bag of money.
"Thanks for doing the work for me, boys. Better luck next time" I laughed and jumped up to the hole in the roof.

Once back at my hideout, I was counting up the euros in the bag.
"Wow, it's 50,000 euros"
"At least you got what you needed, cat thief," Plagg said.
"Yeah, got quite a fortune now," I said.
"I wonder how long being a thief will affect your addiction, kitten" Plagg said.
"Who knows Plagg, but I haven't turned feral," I said.
"You have already. You hate bad guys hurting innocents" Plagg reminded me.
"Yes but those innocents fear me too," I said.
"Do you want them to fear you for the rest of your nine lives" Plagg complained to think I'm crazy.
"No, what Marinette told me made me feel ashamed, she is scared of my violent ways" I replied.
"But you don't seem to ever harm her in any way. It's like she's the only person that makes you soft" Plagg said and I put the bag of money underneath my bed.
"I can't harm any of my friends Plagg," I said.
"And I hope you make a vow for it, kitten" Plagg said and I went to the table to pour the whole cat food kibble for my cats.
"Eat up my fellow kitties," I called for them.
I put the big bowl down so my cats can eat since I know they are hungry for food. Whenever they see food, they don't meow. Such cuties they are whenever they think of me as their cat master.
