(Adrien's POV)
The next day, I was at the Chinese restaurant while in goth punk disguise, having Chinese food. But then, I saw a familiar Chinese girl coming to my seat. Fei? What is she doing here in Paris?
"Fei?" I gasped and she shushed me. Of course, she once told me she uses disguises in Shang-hai to pickpocket things to the guy who destroyed her home and her adoptive father.
"I know it's you. Question is, why did you disappear?" Fei asked.
"I can't tell you that, Fei? It's best if I remain missing or presume dead. What are you doing here in Paris?" I asked her while eating noodles.
"I saw the news that Cat Noir became a villain. I'm looking for him" Fei replied
"Oh, that. Ladybug is trying hard to bring him back to his senses but unfortunately, she doesn't know the real truth from him." I explained to her.
"That's why I'm here to find him so he doesn't do the same mistake like I did," Fei said.
"Good luck finding him, Fei. I have to go now. Have a good day in Paris" I said and left euros on a check and walked out of the restaurant.
If Fei is looking for Cat Noir, then I guess I'll have to talk to her as Cat Noir. I know she's Lady Dragon but she doesn't know that Adrien is Cat Noir. I hid in the alley to transform in peace.
"Plagg claws out" I transformed into Cat Noir and stay hidden in the shadows of the alley.
Fei is very acrobatic and I gotta be aware. She's like a descendant from Bruce Lee or something but she's been raised by her adoptive father that taught her martial arts.
Suddenly, I felt something tightening around me to prevent me from moving. Of course, she can turn into animals. She's a snake now.
"Lady Dragon? What are you doing here in Paris?" I grunted and smashed myself and her against the wall to get her off me but that didn't work. How did she?
"Well, I'm here to find out the reason you became a supervillain," Lady Dragon said, tightening her grip.
"AAAGH! Jeez, you're strong!" I groaned.
"And well improved. Now start talking you cursed cat!" Lady Snake squeezed me hard.
"Agh! For god's sake! At least let me breathe!" I groaned and Lady Snake let go of me and she stood in front of me as a human.
It took me a minute to get my breathing back before almost feeling my ribs crushed by her, "Okay, I'll tell you part of it. It all started when Hawk Moth discovered my identity and I had to live on the streets. Also, I was getting less praise for my heroic duties than Ladybug. So we're not a duo anymore" I explained half of the truth.
"And why did you become a criminal? That's still no excuse. I know a thing about being a thief, Cat Noir. But I learned not to steal anymore" Lady Dragon said.
"I have to steal to survive out in the city with no real home to live in. But at the cost of my reputation." I said.
"Just like I did too. At least we have something in common. But still, does Ladybug know?" Lady Dragon asked.
"She knows I'm a criminal, yes," I said.
"You can't be a criminal for long, Cat Noir. And this Hawk Moth guy will still be undefeated. Do you want to continue hiding forever?" Lady Dragon made a very good point.
"True but I'm not strong enough to defeat Hawk Moth. He knows who I am. I've been fighting bad guys to get stronger, Fei. Please don't tell Ladybug. She can't know the truth yet." I sighed in anxiety that I have to tell her, "Fei, Hawk Moth is….is my father"
"What?! Impossible!" Lady Dragon gasps in shock.
"It's true, Fei. I had to run away. Why do you think he wanted the Prodigious and the miraculous? He's obsessed with power. He became corrupted ever since my mom went missing or presume dead. He doesn't use them for good, he uses them for abuse and evil." I said and punched the brick wall, leaving a crack on it, "My father has lied to me longer than I have. He never even spends time with me because he's always 'busy' with things. He isolated me for too long I couldn't take it anymore. When I get strong, I'm gonna take him down" I said with my feline eyes slanted.
"Cat Noir, you can't be sure you can defeat him by yourself," Lady Dragon said.
"He's my problem, not anyone's, Fei. I can't risk putting anyone in danger because of me. I'm a street cat now. I'm not a superhero anymore. I suffered in the dark all the time. My mother is gone, my father became a terrorist, and now Ladybug doesn't have any feelings for me, there's no love in my life anymore. I'm bad luck, Fei." I said and saw her transform back to her regular self since she feels bad for me. At least she can understand me while Ladybug cannot.
"Love or no love, friendship is needed as well. For Ladybug, you and she don't need to be a couple but friends. Abandoning friends that have been at your side for years can prove to be the biggest mistake" Fei said.
"Ladybug asked me that too if I'm just willing to let her die, but I wouldn't. Sure she and I parted but I'm willing to help her" I said.
"It seems you're not a villain after all. You still have the old you within. Someday you're gonna have to tell Ladybug the truth because running is like a river that will continue endlessly" Fei said.
"Yes, perhaps Ladybug was right, I'm just a coward. But doing that means I have to face my past" I said.
"The past can sometimes find you anywhere, Cat Noir. Think of it like the past remains the same while there's no future for you. If you want a better future, you gotta get rid of what you haven't accomplished in the past" Fei said.
She's right. But I can't face my father again. I'm not strong enough. My ears twitched and I tackled Fei, "GET DOWN!"
A fan nearly hit us and it went back to Mayura who was standing at the end of the alley, "So we meet again Cat Noir!" She caught it.
"Mayura!" I held out my staff.
Fei transformed into Lady Dragon again but she has no idea who Mayura is. That peacock villain better not say my real name in front of her or Fei will feel betrayed.
"And you brought Lady Dragon as well, Cat Noir." She noticed, Thank goodness she keeps it secret.
"Well, we're two against one!" I warned her.
Lady Dragon turned into Lady Bear and tried to claw punch Mayura but the peacock woman jumped over us. But I extended my staff to hit her stomach and make her fall. Once landing she held her stomach in pain, "Damn you!"
"Like I always said, Mayura. Cats eat birds. You better run before Lady Dragon turns into a tiger to eat you" I laughed and Mayura took off in a hurry since she's no match for me or Lady Dragon. That was too easy. It seems Mayura has not been trained well.
"So, do you got a place to stay in Paris?" I asked Lady Dragon.
"No, and I won't be here for long. I got 2 days until I return to Shanghai." She said.
"Very well, but I gotta warn you. If you tell Ladybug or anyone where I live, I will have no choice. Ladybug cannot know that Hawk Moth is my father. Now, turn into a praying mantis so you can hide while I give you a ride. Ladybug cannot see that you're here" I instructed her.
"Well then" Lady Dragon turned into a mantis and hides in my hair.

We came into my lair and Lady Mantis got off of my head and transformed back to her regular self, "Wow, you spent a lot of time stealing to make a home for yourself" Fei looked around.
I poured milk into two glass cups for her and myself, "Yeah, and unfortunately in the next couple of years, I might turn into a wild cat man" I gave her a glass of milk.
"You really think so?" Fei didn't believe me.
"I'm just guessing," I said.
Then my cats came, probably from hunting rats again and they saw I brought a visitor. I made eye contact with them to not attack Fei since she's a friend from Shanghai.
"Whoa, and you have cats with you? Let me guess, cat whisper" Fei teased me to think I talk to cats.
"Yep, I saved them all from animal traffickers" I replied.
"Have you named any of them?" She asked me.
"They are named after what breed they are" I explained.
"At least you're not lonely" Fei took a sip of milk.
We walked to the couch to talk, "So how are things at home?"
"All better since the last time you and Ladybug helped me out," Fei said.
"That's good, Fei. As for me, I'm still struggling to survive. Ladybug and I are enemies but sometimes she lets me steal. You may have remembered Hawk Moth but right now he's Shadow Moth. I wish I can tell Ladybug but we are forbidden to reveal each other's secret identities. I'm just afraid to put her in danger if my father uses her as bait to get me to surrender" I said and took a sip of my milk.
"I see. But that does not make you two fully enemies" Fei said.
"No, but I'm her ex-partner now. Sometimes I get a little mischief whenever she stops my heists but that's to hide my weakness from her. The only thing that upsets me is her insensitive side. She doesn't understand how I feel for her but I always respect her. Even if she's in love with someone else, even if she rejects me a lot, I still love her but not anymore. I closed my heart from feeling this heartache and don't feel love ever again." I said and drank the whole milk before putting it on the coffee table.
"Alright." Fei put her glass down too.
"Make yourself at home, Fei. This cat needs to hunt mice. I'll be back soon with dinner" I walked out of my lair to go bad guy hunting.

After feeding Plagg due to my long transformation, I crawled on all fours in the alley to hunt bad guys since I'm in the mood to claw them. Especially to taste blood like a panther.
"Where can they be at?" I looked around.
Then I saw a group of robbers loading a truck. I jumped down and did a flip in the air before knocking down one thug with my feet before I glide under another and hit his leg and I did that ridiculous pose again. Then I lunged at another thug grabbing him by my thighs and throwing him down to the floor.
"Too easy as always. You boys are weak with no honor" I said and went to the truck to see what they were loading. There were some boxes filled with weaponry, ready to smuggle.
I hate smugglers. Time to destroy everything. I got out of the truck and said the word, "Cataclysm" I touched the truck and it turned into black ashes along with the weapons inside. As I was about to walk away, a thug grabbed me from behind trying to choke me and crush my ribs with his arms. I scream in anger and stomped on his foot to make him let go which he did and I headbutt my back head in his face and scratched him in the chest and face with my claws.
"Do that again and there goes all your teeth and eyes!" I warned him.
"You're damn crazy! You scratched my face!" He complained and I knee him in the gut, hard. Making him fall on his knees and clutch his gut.
"Perhaps I am, but not enough to kill people!" I stood on him and just kicked him away, licking the blood covered on my claws.

After getting cheese pizza from the restaurant that I ordered as a civilian, I came back to my lair as Cat Noir to see that Fei is watching TV of Ladybug stopping Mr. Mime by herself.
"Seems she's doing well on her own" Fei said.
"Yup. Sometimes I help her if I need to but I think she's got it." I put the box of pizza on the dining table for us to eat. I don't want Fei to starve tonight before she has to head back to the airport tomorrow. I bet she stowaway on that plane as Lady Mantis.
"Yes, just as I do," Fei said.
"Anyways, I got dinner. It's the least I can do, Fei. Maybe tomorrow I can show you around Paris. But if Ladybug sees us, pretend that you came here for a vacation" I said and grabbed two plates for her and myself so we can eat.
"Well before I go home to China," Fei said.
We ate our dinner and I see that Fei has never tasted pizza all her life. At least she's enjoying it. I wonder how she survived as an orphan and a pickpocket thief.
"First time having pizza?" I asked.
"Yeah, it is" She replied.
"Made from Italy, Fei." I chuckled and nearly ate like an animal but I had self-control. I don't wanna be rude in front of Fei.
"Well in China most meals have rice," Fei said.
"And noodles too," I said and ate my second piece.
After eating, I see that Fei is full and tired already. She must be exhausted from probably looking for Cat Noir all day in Paris.
I carried her to my king-size bed for her to sleep. Better than a couch because I don't want her to get stiff in the morning. I hope she's not a light sleeper because I can't let her see the real me.
"Claws in" I de-transformed and shushed Plagg to not say a word. I don't wanna wake Fei up. I grabbed a cat mask and put it on just in case if Fei wakes up before me in the morning.
"Sleep well buddy," I said to him before going to bed.
