Hey, sorry for the long wait, it has been done for a while, I just got distracted, and lost motivation. I've got to find a way to make this story twenty chapters long, that's how long I decided it would be. I think I've got it figured out now though. enjoy.
Retsuko and Tootie walked into the Jinjo village and she went to check in but they were full. "What? Oh, this is bad, I'm stuck in Spiral mountain hotel."
"Oh my, well that is serious, I could let you stay with my family."
"I couldn't do that." She wasn't fully comfortable staying in some stranger's house.
"It's no trouble at all, anything to kill the competition!" He said happily.
"Oh um, well I mean, if you put it that way I guess I could. Does your village have a karaoke bar?"
"Yes."
"Good, where is it?"
"It's right up the road, Tootie knows where it is she goes there a lot."
"Yep! We can go over there later if you want."
"I'd rather go now."
"Oh, well I don't have any money so maybe later, sorry."
"I can pay for you, it's fine, Retsuko said with a smile.
"Oh, well if you put it that way let's go then!" The two of them walked out and Tootie ran off down the road, Retsuko walked not far behind, she was close enough to watch her walk into a building with a sign above it that said, 'Ginger Mole Karaoke.'
"What the?!" She'd never seen such a weird name for a Karaoke bar before, nevertheless, she continued walking towards it, walking through the door into the bar, it was empty for the most part save for a few Jinjos here and there.
"Where's the karaoke machine?" Retsuko asked Tootie.
"Up there she said pointing to a stage."
"Her pupils shrank at this, we… don't get privacy?"
"No, if you're shy karaoke isn't for you. Besides, there's hardly anyone here, so who cares?"
"I do!" Retsuko whined.
"I'll go first even, and if you don't feel comfortable then don't I guess." Retsuko paid and Tootie chose her song and went up and took the microphone. She sang 'The Teddy Bears Picnic.'
Ritsuko thought it was weird yet oddly fitting. It was over and Tootie looked back at Retsuko holding the mic up with a smile, she shook her head and waved for her to go on. She nodded and sang another song. Retsuko looked through the songs and found one death metal song. She looked at Tootie and thought about it, she grew angry and realized she needed to let some stress out, she needed this.
Tootie got done and once again held the mic up looking at her, she nodded and picked her song, they quickly changed places and she got up there, she took a deep breath and sighed, the few people in the bar turned and watched Retsuko as the heavy music starter. Soon the song picked up and she started screaming her heart out going crazy. All her stress, and anger left at this point, she felt safe, she felt alive, she felt relief.
The song soon ended and she stopped, breathing heavily, then after catching her breath she sighed and turned back to Tootie. She stopped as Tootie stared at her in shock, mouth open wide and eyes nearly bulging from her skull. Um, are you okay T-
"That was awesome!" She said ecstatically, I never knew you liked such heavy stuff.
"Yeah, most people don't expect that with me…" she said mousily, a deep blush on her face.
"Well as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters!" She said happily, Retsuko smiled at this, relieved. "You wanna sing another song?"
"Yeah. I think I will." The two of them sang for a few more hours there.
The chapters are short in this story, be aware of this. And get used to it. Thx for reading goodbye.
