The plot thickens a bit, I know where I'm going with the first half of the story. Enjoy.
Retsuko had spent one day in the apparent isle O' hags and was ready to go back to work, she checked the next flight home, it wouldn't be for two weeks. She freaked out because she was going to be late going back to work. Nevertheless, she could do nothing about it and so got over it. She sang a lot of rage out of her system. Tootie hung out with her some more and she introduced her to Bottles, they were currently sitting on his couch talking with him now.
"So, you're stuck here until the next flight."
She nodded with a sad frown. "Unfortunately, I'm a little worried about my job."
"I'm sure your boss will understand your predicament."
"I wish that were true", Retsuko said sadly.
"Oh, come on your manager can't be that bad," Bottles said.
"You'd be surprised how unsympathetic my boss can be…."
"Well maybe try calling work and letting them know about it and see."
"No, that's okay, it doesn't matter", she said.
"I might be able to get you a hearing with king Jingaling, maybe he can get you a plane home."
"Thank you so much, that'd be great! "
"Calm down, I make no promises except I'll do what I can."
"Deal!" The three of them talked for a while longer, Bottles introduced Retsuko to his family, which she got along well with. She and Tootie soon left and went to her house for dinner, they walked in and her heart raced when she saw Banjo, and Kazooie were on computers.
"What are they doing?" She asked Tootie.
"We're making a game" Kazooie snapped at her.
"We're independent game designers", Banjo added, "what brings you over here?"
"Remember, you said she could come for dinner," Kazooie said
"I did?"
"Yes, you did", Tootie added.
"I guess I was too focused. I haven't even started yet."
"Get on it Banjo, I can handle this for a while."
"Okay then, do you like soup?" He asked Retsuko.
She blushed at his gaze, freaked out a second before nodding, "yes, I do."
"Good," he said, he made the soup and Retsuko decided to help him cook. Dinner was soon ready, they talked all night as they ate their dinner, turns out Banjo was a great cook. After they were done eating they talked some more and Banjo walked her back to the Jinjo village.
"Thank you so much for walking me back Banjo", she said blushing, yet smiling at the same time.
"Yeah, of course, I wasn't going to just let you walk home alone, it's not exactly safe around here at night."
She nodded, she couldn't help but smile at his kindness. He was so nice. "Well, have a safe walk home Banjo."
"Yeah, see you later Retsuko", he walked off after that, and Retsuko walked inside and went to sleep.
Gruntilda sat in her office doing stuff to help her wait for the guest to give in, she was impatient though, she went down to the door, used a spell to turn invisible, and walked through the door, no one was in the room. She was furious. "KLUNGOOOOOOOOO!" She howled in rage.
Klungo came running, tripping and falling, he got up in half a second though, "Yes misssssstresssssss?" He said nervously looking at his master with fear, she was known to beat him when he failed, the tone of her voice and scowl on her face said everything he needed to know.
"WHERE IS THE GUEST? SHE'S NOT IN HER ROOM YOU IDIOT!" She screamed and smacked him across the face knocking him off his feet into the wall.
"KLUNGO SORRY MISSSSSTRESSSS!" he cried in fear, putting his hands over his head trying to protect himself from the blows.
Gruntilda picked him up by his shirt and shook him, "FIND HER, FIND HER AND TELL ME WHERE SHE IS", she gave him a phone, "CALL ME, AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST, AND YOU BETTER NOT MESS UP, OR I'LL KILL YOU!"
"YESSSSS MISSSSTRESSSSS!" he wailed as he limped off as fast as he could away to find Retsuko.
