If it wasn't for the giant picture of their selfie that Danny had given him, Bumblebee would have almost forgotten about him after everything had finally been over and done with.

In fact, Bee forgot about the picture until it fell out of one of the compartments that he had on his body.

He hadn't noticed it falling out of the compartment, and he wasn't aware that he would have lost it if Strongarm hadn't called for him while picking it up.

Bee froze when he realized what his teammate was holding and grimaced.

He completely forgot that amid everything, he didn't tell anyone about the existence of Danny. And that tidbit of information never came out until now.

"Lieutenant," Strongarms voice was quiet as she said," who is that boy?"

There was no getting out of it now, but nonetheless, Bumblebee gingerly took the photo out of Strongarms hands and held it in front of the both of them. The sight of the teenager made him smile," This is Danny," Even through the picture, the aura had covered most of Danny's face, only leaving the bottom of his jaw grinning widely," He was a teenager I met back in Jasper. He was on the run from the government."

As he thought, Strongarm was curious about the relationship," Oh. He was one of those kids you met?"

Bumblebee hummed thoughtfully before answering," No. I never introduced Danny to the others. We met hiding out in the same alleyway. We had agreed to never mention the existence of each other. Danny…Danny was special," Bumblebee couldn't help the smile that spread across his face," He never explained them to me, but his powers gave him the ability to understand and speak any language. So, when I answered him in binary…"

Bumblebee could see the pieces clicking together in Strongarms head," He was able to understand you?"

He hummed in confirmation," And he was able to speak it too. Danny had visited me in my room before he left Jasper."

He could tell Strongarm disapproved of his secrecy with the human. Especially since Bumblebee made it a point of being honest with each other to prevent confusion in the team.

"What of him now?"

Bee deflated and sighed heavily," I don't know," he put the picture back into the compartment," He had to leave Jasper because the government agents were getting close to picking up his trail. I haven't heard from him since."

Strongarm hummed thoughtfully," He didn't give you any means of communications?"

Bumblebee snorted," No. But he did tell me that if I was lonely, I just had to do a little dance," he started to move his hands around like he's seen the children do in a joking manner," Say Danny, and he would appear." He put his hands down with a grin," But I'm pretty sure he was just being silly."

Strongarm chuckled at his answer and waited for Bumblebee to go ahead and start their slight journey back to the command center. Bumblebee grinned and started to approach her.

Bumblebee didn't think he would ever see Danny again.

It had been at least 130 earth years since he had seen the teenager, he reluctantly accepted the sad truth that his friend has most likely passed away decades before his arrival.

He had mourned the loss of his friend. Although they were not together for a long time, it had been enough for Bee to consider Danny a close friend of his.

But after a short talk with Denny, he eventually moved past the death of Danny.

Until he realized that there had never been a death to mourn.

Imagine his surprise when the person Denny was leading around the scrapyard, walked past Bumblebee in his alt mode, and very casually said

"Hey Bee."

Everyone froze.

Denny took in a sharp breath as he snapped his head to the visitor. And the man looked at Denny with a raised eyebrow until he just realized what he said.

The man turned around, and as soon as his eyes landed on Bumblebee, his eyes lit up.

Bumblebee couldn't stop the smile from spreading across his face even if he wanted to.

He quickly transformed and was barely able to keep himself from losing balance from the impact.

"Bee!" A small body that was very familiar nearly knocked him off his feet," Dude I thought you forgot about me!"

It took him a few seconds to process what had just happened. And his processor finally caught up with reality, he had a hard time believing what he was seeing, "Danny!"

Danny pulled away with a gasp, letting him get a good look at the teenager.

Well he wasn't a teenager anymore.

He looked older, he didn't have that childish look anymore. His back had filled out like the adult males he had seen so many times on earth.

His aura was more controlled. For the first time, he could get a clear look at Danny as a whole. He had a blinding grin, his blue eye had turned green, which was odd since he always had a different colored eye in both forms.

Yet despite the fact that Danny looked older.

He was still far too young after all of those years.

Danny looked stunned, and then ecstatic," Your voice!" Bumblebee was starting to get dizzy with the way Danny kept on flying circles around him," Your voice is back! How is it back! You-!"

Bumblebee had his own questions," Me! What about you!?" Bee forcefully pulled Danny in for a hug, chuckling when he felt Danny wrap his slightly longer arms around his neck," What are you doing here?! How are you here!?"

"I was just looking for some parts for my car! Dude!" Danny finally stopped their rambling and looked at the bot with a blinding smile," it is so good to see you!"

Bumblebee returned the smile," Its good to see you too."

At seeing the lieutenants smile directly, Danny started to poke fun," Aw look at that smile!" Danny purposely leaned against Bee just enough to make him lose his balance. His actions making the bot laugh happily," how many sparks have you won over with that smile?"

Bumblebee snorted and pushed Danny away with an even wider smile," oh shut up!" They continued laughing until they heard.

"Uhh…Bee?"

They froze.

And blushed when they realized that they had an audience.

Sideswipe, strongarm, and Denny were staring at the two of them," Who is this?"

Danny ran his hand over his white hair and grinned as he saved at them," Danny Phantom!" He turned to bee, asking," Are these the guys you told me about?"

"Nah, this is sideswipe and strongarm, they're part of my new team here on earth. The others are back home on cybertron."

The news of the planet made Danny gasp," You did it?! You saved your planet?!"

Bumblebee didn't get a chance to answer yes before he was picked up in a tight hug, his feet leaving the ground as Danny spun him around," That's amazing!"

He could hear the others gasping, and he knew that it had to be quite the sight. To see a giant metal being, being picked up and spun around by a human effortlessly. Yet, he couldn't help the laugh that escaped him. He let himself be spun around, just taking in the presence of his close friend.

"YOU!" Even while being spun around by Danny, he jumped at the loud exclamation coming from Denny and so did Danny.

Barely catching him, Danny set down Bee and looked at Denny with a raised brow as he blandly said," Me."

Denny's mouth was hanging open, and it took a gentle nudge from Strongarm for him to finally finish his thought," You're Danny Phantom!"

Danny slowly nodded his head and said," Yeah…I noticed."

Denny stammered as he said," I thought you were a myth…"

Sideswipe and Strongarm exchanged looks and it wasn't until Strongarm quietly asked him to clarify when he did.

"You were just a bedtime story my mother told me…Danny Phantom. A teenager that died when he was 14 and became king of the underworld. "

If it wasn't for the past 130 years of living, Danny would have started to squirm nervously under everyone's gaze, especially when Bee was staring at him in amazement.

"Ehhhhh, you're kinda right," Danny said with the bobbing of his head. Landing gently on Bees shoulder he transformed into his blue-eyed and black-haired form," I didn't die completely," He said with a small smile," And I didn't become King until I was 20."

…Bee wasn't even going to question that.

If he could be brought back to life because he landed into the right body of liquid, he wasn't going to question what Danny just said.

But he was going to question one more thing," Is that why you look like you're in your 20s when its been 130 years since I've last seen you?"

Danny snorted," Yeah, I'm kinda immortal. How long do your people live again?"

"A few eons. Give or take."

The grin got even wider," Looks like we have a few eons to cause some trouble then."

Bumblebee let out a bark of laughter.

He knew that Danny was just being silly at the moment, but he couldn't help but agree at the moment.

With a bright smile, he replied.

"Sure."

He doesn't remember a time he smiled that much.

It was nice.
