Chapter 2
"Excuse me sir. You is needing to get up now, sir."
Draco rolled over. He could hear the persistent house elf, but he didn't want to get up.
Wake up you slacker!
'Shut up Nick.'
Not until you shut him up. Get up and call Cher already!
Please Draco, I need her.
'… ok.'
Draco rolled out of bed. The house elf left. Draco got the phone (he bought one so he could talk to Cher. She's a muggle) and dialed Cher's number.
After two rings she picked up.
"Hello this is Cher Mageils office."
"Hi Cher."
"Draco?"
"Yeah I called cause Rich wanted to talk."
"Oh, put him on then."
Draco gulped; he hated this part. He let go of his control and fell back into his mind.
"Cher?"
"Yes Rich," Cher said softly.
"Oh Cher!"
"What's wrong!"
"I can't take it any more."
"Take what?"
"Living in Draco's shadow. At lest Nick gets to be in control the whole time Draco's at school."
"Really, Draco lets Nick take control!"
"Yes, it because his father likes him best as Nick. I can't see why thought. He's a jerk!"
"Rich you need to talk to with them about how you feel about that."
"I can't when ever we try to talk Draco tells us to shut up."
"I'll talk to him about that. Um…. Can I talk to Nick now."
"God even you like him best!"
"No Rich that's not true!"
"Sorry babe he's already gone."
"Nick?"
"Yes the one and only."
"Nick tell me why Draco lets you take over at school. I know it's not to please his father. He hates his father."
"Um ….. I don't really know why. Maybe you should ask him."
"Ok, let me talk to Draco."
"Cheer?"
"Yes Draco?"
"I need to go."
"What! No Draco, I still need to talk to you."
The line went dead.
"Draco who was that?"
"No one mother."
"Ok, get dressed and come down stairs for breakfast."
Draco sighed. He was going to have to be more careful if he wanted to hide this much longer.
