Speedaway
The child ran quickly from his captor. He was bringing something… something equally normal and equally mysterious. It was a card and it was glowing… then a big sparkle just flowed out and the boy disappeared. The captors cursed themselves for being so slow and not getting that mysterious thing the boy has and went back to report to their boss.
Botan was walking very angry from Yuusuke and Kuwabara's taunting, suddenly a boy bumped her while turning to the corner. "Hey! You better run fast co'z I'm gonna kill you!" She probably didn't know what she was saying because she was very angry. Then she ran after him.
"Waaah!" Koenma screamed as he watched a monitor infront of him. Jorju who was alarmed quickly hurried to his boss' office "What's wrong?" he asked "Th-th-the…" Koenma said as he fainted.
"Hey guys, what happened to Botan?" asked Kurama walking into the ramen shop. Yuusuke and Kuwabara were looking very guilty and Kurama knew what it was. "So… you teased her again." Kurama said hands in his pocket "Hmmm… let see… did you call her a ditz?" "No… it's about you." Keiko said coming into the room. "About me?" he asked curiosly
After a few minutes, the boy stopped and panted. Botan also stopped as she also panted. "Boy, you already knew that I was after you yet you didn't stop. What's wrong with you?" The boy looked surprised then turned slowly to face her. The kid cried and cried as he went to hug Botan. She was equally surprised herself. She then heard the boy say "Mother…sniff-sniff" She just embraced him. She felt that she has known that little boy for a long time. Then finally realizing what the kid said to her "What do you mean by 'mother'?" Botan now looked very surprised.
"Boss, boss…" Jorju said while patting Koenma's face to wake him up. And finally he woke up but very angry from Jorju's slapping. "Boss, what were you screaming about earlier?" Jorju asked partly concerned and partly curious. "Well---it's like this…"
"Aren't you my mother?" asked the boy. "Of course not! I'm not your mother! I just met you!" exclaimed Botan "By the way, why were you running?" "We--ll someone was after me… I saw a light infront of me… I kept running." explained the child while still crying "What is this on your hand?" Botan asked feeling pity on the boy. "If your not my mother, then I can't tell you." the boy said backing away from her. "Okay then, I won't force you to tell me, just tell me where you live and I'll…" the boy hugs her crying. Botan dropped the issue. "Will you take care of me?" the boy asked clinging to her arm tight. Botan smiled sweetly "of course…" They just went to where she was staying.
Botan is already in front of the door of her apartment and she noticed that the boy is already asleep.(a/n:she's carrying the boy on her back) Her features softened and she opened the door and went in. She went to her room and placed the child on it. When she was about to go out, she heard him mumble "mother…" then smiled. Botan went down to her living room and seated herself. She was still wondering where the boy had came from, then her eyes got heavy and immediately went to sleep.
"What about me, Keiko?" Kurama asked
