HI GUYS! I'm back. So, I know my chapters are short and all, but I am busy writing my own story, so sorry. but anyway, here you go!

Leo was bored. Sure, he had friends to keep him company, but they were out right now. They told Leo they had some "stuff to catch up on." And now Leo was alone. Again. He missed his home.

Even though Leo's mum was never rich, they still were a happy family. Leo would clean the kitchen and make food, so his mum could rest before work, since she was working extra hard so they wouldn't starve.

His Tia, Rosa, refused to help them, saying stuff like: "you should marry a rich man" or "not my fault his father was a failure, just like him."

Leo was a child then, so he didn't understand anything. But now he knew, that every action had a consequence, and that you should use every word as if it was your last, and every action, as if it was your finale one.

The day his mother died, was the day his life would be changed for ever.

It was on his eight birthday, the 7th of July, it all went downhill. His mum woke him up, by gently pushing his black, curly hair from his face, and softly singing 'Las MaƱanitas.'

Her voice was like the voice of an angel, and he loved it. Ensperanza was an angel after all. She picked Leo up, and sat down on his bed, with him in her lap, smiling at him.

"You want to help me in the werehouse today, mijo?" She asked. Leo nodded, desperate to help his mum. She chuckled softly and they made their way down, Leo holding her hand.

It all went well, 'till Leo's mum forgot her keys. "Wait here, mijo." She told him. "I'll be back soon." She gave him her army jacked to keep him warm, and went back. Just as she went trough the door, it locked itself, and she was trapped.

"Mama?" Leo screamed. "Mama, are you OK?"

A tear made its way down Leo's chin. He didn't want to remember that day, but it haunted him, and it will until the day he dies.

Death. Such a small word for such a horrible and harmful thing.

remember to drink water and eat food!
