Hello all Storm here with a new story! Here we'll be seeing a reboot of "The Heavenly Forest", with it still having Naruto gain the Mokuton after being experimented on by Orochimaru, but then takes a completely different turn. So, without further ado.

"Isn't this surprising? You've come all this way just to visit me, I'm honored." Said Orochimaru with a smirk as he watched Danzō Shimura enter his throne room, having been informed of the Warhawk's arrival the moment he set foot in his base.
"Do not play games with me, Orochimaru, I have a task that requires your expertise." Danzō said, not in the mood for any of Orochimaru's games, while the Snake Sannin chuckled lowly as he stood up.
"Well I'm afraid I'll have to decline. Sarutobi-sensei is already growing suspicious of me and I'd prefer not giving him another reason to investigate my experiments by getting involved with you again. Unless, of course, you have something that would prove beneficial to me. Besides watching you create more enemies for Konoha to deal with." Orochimaru said, knowing that any plans Danzō made usually ended in him creating more enemies and problems for Konoha.
"You will accept, otherwise Hiruzen will be informed of the rest of you experiments and I will ensure you don't live long enough to escape Konoha. That is how it will benefit you." Danzō retorted threateningly with Orochimaru rolling his eyes, not surprised that he'd start using threats.
"Fine. What do you want this time? Another limb filled with Sharingan, perhaps." Said Orochimaru, only to raise a brow when one of Danzō's ROOT Anbu emerged from the shadows, dropping an unconscious and restrained five-year-old boy on the ground in front of him.
Recognizing the boy as the Kyūbi Jinchūriki, Naruto Uzumaki, making Orochimaru look at Danzō blankly at bringing a Jinchūriki to him.
"You will infuse the Shodaime Hokage's Cells into the weapon, ensuring that Konoha will once again have access to the Mokuton." Danzō stated, with the Snake Sannin now looking at him in disbelief of what he wanted him to do.
"And what makes you think this time will succeed when all other attempts have failed?" Orochimaru asked, given how Konoha has tried numerous times to recreate Hashirama's Mokuton, resulting in all attempting failing and any further attempts being forbidden.
Even his own attempt to recreate it using sixty children, all having various backgrounds, abilities and skills had ended in failure, with all of them dying in the process. So he doubted that anyone is capable of inheriting the Shodaime's Mokuton.
"This time it will work. With the weapon's Uzumaki Physiology, making it distantly related to the Senju Clan, and being the Kyūbi's Jinchūriki, it will survive. And with the Kyūbi and Mokuton, Konoha will have the ultimate weapon to force all other villages and nations to submit." Said Danzō, believing that Naruto would be fully capable of surviving the process and awakening the Mokuton.
With Orochimaru now looking at Naruto in intrigue, thinking it over and considering it, before deciding that if anyone had a chance of at least surviving, he would be able to. And should he truly awaken the Mokuton, it would be all the better at finally making a breakthrough in recreating the Shodaime's power.
'But of course, you overlook one very important detail, Danzō.' Orochimaru thought with a smirk.
"Yes, I suppose if anyone would have a chance at surviving and awakening it, he would. But as you said, the boy would have access to the Mokuton and the Kyūbi. Combined with his heritage, he would have the potential to stand on the same level as Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, perhaps even surpass them. Tell me Danzō, would you even be capable of controlling such a Ninja? Or will you need help with that too?" Orochimaru asked mockingly, doubting that his former employer actually thought of what would happen should the procedure be a success.
"Hmph, underestimating others is your weakness, Orochimaru. With the Sharingan infused in this arm, as well as the spare eyes I shall gain once the Uchiha Clan is dealt with, I will be more than capable of keeping the weapon in line." Danzō said, completely confident in the Sharingan-infused arm he gained from Shin Uchiha, another of Orochimaru's experiments that was obsessed with the Uchiha Clan, he'll be capable of controlling Naruto.
Plus, once he infuses it Hashirama's Cells as well and completed his plan to deal with the Uchiha Clan, he'll have plenty of spare Sharingan to use.
'And overestimating yourself will lead to your death, you decrepit old fool.' Thought Orochimaru, rolling his eyes at the Warhawk's declaration, having known that Danzō could be arrogant in his own abilities, even more so after he gave him the Sharingan-infused arm.
Not to mention that despite all his talk of everything he does being for the "Good of Konoha", everything he's done has only amounted to undermining the villages security and create more enemies. And the Snake Sannin had no doubt that this and the eventual Uchiha Massacre will be no different.
"Fine, I'll see if the boy is capable of surviving the procedure and awakening the Mokuton." Orochimaru said while picking up Naruto.
"See that it's done immediately, before Hiruzen grows suspicious." Said Danzō, having had a Blood Clone created to take Naruto's place to avoid the Sandaime growing suspicious of his absence, but knew it wouldn't fool his old rival for long.
With Orochimaru merely nodding, before going further into his base to prepare for the procedure.
*Timeskip-Two Days*
"So the Jinchūriki is still alive." Danzō stated as he and Orochimaru looked at Naruto suspended in a large test tube.
"You sound surprised, Danzō. And here I believed you were expecting him to survive." Said Orochimaru with a taunting smirk as the elder gave him a warning look.
"What I expect, is to see whether this experiment succeeded or it's just another one of your failures." Retorted Danzō, making Orochimaru let out a "tsk" before bringing out several seeds and plants, putting them in front of the test tube.
Given how it's known that Hashirama was able to affect plant-life just from being around it, making it healthier, stronger, and grow faster. And if Naruto had successfully awakened the Mokuton, then he'd have a similar effect on it.
'Though whether he awakens the Mokuton or not, I'm sure the other DNA will still succeed in affecting him.' Thought Orochimaru, having gone behind Danzō's back and infused Naruto with more cells, ones he'd taken from one of his latest recruits.
A boy named Jūgo, who possessed a unique Kekkei Genkai to absorb Natural Energy and enter a Sage Transformation, but at the cost of him entering a berserker rage whenever he transformed. Having added his DNA as well as Hashirama's.
'I'm sure it'll be interesting to see the affect they have on a Jinchūriki, especially that of the Kyūbi's. And at the very least, it'll also make things more difficult for Danzō.' Thought Orochimaru, wanting to see how Naruto will be able to handle a Sage Transformation, along with making him even more difficult to control.
The two watched the plants and Naruto, waiting to see if there'd be any changes or signs to show that he had managed to unlock the Mokuton. But after a few moments of nothing happening, Orochimaru frowned in disappointment while Danzō scowled at seeing it fail.
"Well that's disappointing, I was actually starting to hope he'd gain the Mokuton after surviving." Orochimaru said, starting to think it'd be impossible to find a subject capable of awakening the Mokuton.
"Tsk, then the only good it has is as a Jinchūriki." Said Danzō, annoyed that the experiment was a failure.
Seeing there was nothing more to be done, Orochimaru and Danzō had Naruto taken out of the test tube to be brough back to the village. Knowing suspicions would soon arise if he wasn't returned soon and the Blood Clone was discovered.
*Timeskip-Six Months*
Six months have passed since Danzō's failed attempt to have Naruto awaken the Mokuton, with the whiskered blonde having been dropped back at his apartment while his Blood Clone was dispelled. All while Orochimaru had also defected from Konoha after his illegal experiments were discovered by the Sandaime Hokage. Managing to escape after his former teacher couldn't bring himself to kill him, though having still been heavily injured in the process.
Meanwhile, Naruto continued on like nothing happened, unaware of what had been done to him, while eventually being able to enroll into the Academy. Though as time passed, Naruto began feeling different. Feeling his Chakra Reserves start growing even larger, along with his physical prowess improving, making him faster, stronger, more durable, have even greater stamina and endurance, even his reaction time was getting faster. But even with the sudden changes, the Uzumaki hasn't been able to improve in the Academy, with many of his classmates even considering him to be the deadlast.
Currently, the students were outside to have some sparring matches, something that Naruto was excited for, the chance to finally show what he could do than sit inside listening to lectures all day. With several other students all sharing his excitement, eager to be able to spar and prove themselves.
"Alright, settle down! The first match will be between Naruto Uzumaki and Satsuki Uchiha!" Said the teacher, calling out the first two names, with Naruto's previous excitement instantly vanishing while being replaced by an annoyed scowl.
'That's on purpose!' Thought Naruto, knowing he was purposefully picked to fight Satsuki, who's already showing to be one of the most talented students in the Academy.
And while he hated to admit it, the Uzumaki doubted that he stood a chance against her in a sparring match, something he knew the teacher was also aware of. Which Naruto really hated, knowing the teacher was hoping to humiliate him against a better fighter.
'Fine bastard! I'll show you what I can do!' Thought Naruto, refusing to back down or lose as he entered the ring, with Satsuki soon following, this being the first time Naruto actually got a good look at her.
Seeing that Satsuki was five-years-old as well and had pale skin, blue-tinted black hair that went down to her shoulders with short bangs hanging on the sides of her face, and dark black eyes. With her wearing blue Ninja sandals, white shorts, and a black long sleeved, high-collared shirt with the Uchiha Clan symbol on the back.
All the while having a bored, neutral look on her face that only annoyed Naruto further, that she didn't even look like she cared to spar with him.
'I'm gonna wipe that look off her face!' Naruto thought while narrowing his eyes at Satsuki.
"Okay, the first to pin their opponent or knock them out of the ring wins. Both of you make the Seal of Confrontation." Said the teacher, with both students holding up their hands to make the seal.
"And…Hajime!" The teacher said, bringing his arm down between them.
Not wasting a moment, Naruto charged Satsuki with shout and his fist pulled back to punch her, intending to take her out quickly. With the Uchiha not moving from her spot, waiting until Naruto got close before deflecting his punch, followed by spinning around Naruto to kick him in the back and out of the ring. Only for something to happen that shocked everyone, including Naruto himself.
Feeling like his body was moving on its own, Naruto turned around and raised his arms blocking Satsuki's kick, before grabbing the ravenette by her ankle and threw her out of the ring. Everyone looking in shock as Satsuki hit the ground before getting back up with her own shocked expression. The other students and teacher looking between her and Naruto, not believing what they just saw, until Naruto gained a large grin on his face
"Alright! I won!" Naruto cheered, not believing he really won but happy about it nonetheless, with this also pulling Satsuki out of her shock as she scowled.
The Uchiha rushed towards Naruto before jumping up to kick him in the head, surprising Naruto at the sudden attack before he managed to dodge the kick just in time. With Satsuki landing on the ground in a crouch and delivered a spin kick to the Uzumaki's legs, knocking them out from under him. With Naruto letting out a yelp as he hit the ground, before he quickly grabbed Satsuki's leg when she tried pinning him to the ground.
Pulling Satsuki's leg out from under her, Naruto got up and tried knocking Satsuki off balance while still holding her leg. The ravenette placed her hands on the ground when she was knocked down, kicking her other leg out at Naruto's head, only for him to grab it as well. Holding both of Satsuki's legs, Naruto twisted them around, spinning Satsuki in the air before slamming his fist into her stomach. The attack making Satsuki gasp at the wind being knocked out her, before grunting as she hit the ground.
Before she could get up, Satsuki growled in annoyance when Naruto straddled her stomach while pinning her arms to the ground and began laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I beat you again!" Naruto laughed, not believing he beat Satsuki again.
"You didn't beat me at all! You must've done something to make me mess up! And get off me!" Satsuki said while trying to throw Naruto off of her.
"Nope, I'm just that awesome! I threw you out of the ring and now I'm pinning you! So that means I beat you twice!" Naruto said with a grin before grunting when Satsuki managed to headbutt him, throwing the whiskered blonde off of her.
The sudden attack making Naruto glare at the Uchiha, which she gladly returned, but before they could try attacking each other again the teacher got between them.
"Enough! Satsuki you were knocked out of the arena and pinned, so no matter what Naruto won the spar…somehow." Said the teacher, while muttering the last part.
"Now then, both of you make the Seal of Reconciliation." The teacher said with Naruto and Satsuki glaring at each other, but held up their dominant hands to make the Seal of Confrontation before moving to lock their fingers together.
But rather than make the Seal of Reconciliation, the two students grabbed each other by their collars and glared at each other, until they let go and exited the ring. With the sparring matches continuing once they were out of the ring, with the whiskered blonde feeling a little better that he'd won his match.
All while Satsuki scowled in annoyance at somehow losing, but would occasionally glance at Naruto, with it still not sitting well she lost to him of all people. Having been working hard to prove herself as more than Itachi's little sister and get out of his shadow. But the fact she lost against someone who's already proven to be a top contender for being the deadlast, it really didn't sit well with her.
'I'm not going to lose again!' Satsuki mentally swore, refusing to lose against Naruto in their next spar, knowing she wouldn't rest until she did beat him.
*Timeskip-Two Months*
Since that day, Naruto and Satsuki had been assigned as regular sparring partners, much to the ravenette's pleasure at having more chances to beat Naruto. With the Uzumaki being just as pleased to get the chance to beat Satsuki again. The two students sparring against each other every time they could, both of them having since gotten their fair share of wins and losses. Something that only made them try harder to win in the next spar they have and the one after. Each time they pushed themselves harder, with their annoyance also growing each time the other won.
But with each new spar, the two also felt themselves improving and growing stronger, needing to improve themselves to gain and/or maintain the advantage for the next time they went against each other. Which also lead to them training more to be stronger and faster than the other.
With Naruto currently at an empty training ground, working on improving his Taijutsu, as so far he's just relied on his physical abilities to beat Satsuki, along with becoming familiar with her fighting style. Though now he wanted to actually be able to have his own Taijutsu Style to use against her, knowing that his physical abilities alone were starting to not cut it anymore, but had some difficulty with making his stance solid enough.
'Is this good?' Naruto thought, looking at himself while wondering if his current stance is good enough, but still felt like it was too loose, before he suddenly felt someone watching him.
Looking, Naruto frowned when he saw Satsuki standing at the entrance to the training ground.
"What're you doing here?" Said Naruto as he got out his stance, not wanting her to see his training and get an advantage over him at the Academy.
Only to be confused when it seemed like Satsuki was trying to say something, but looked like she was also forcing herself to stay quiet.
"If you have something to say then say it, or go away if you're just going to stand there." Naruto said in annoyance at her just standing there.
"How did you get so good?!" Said Satsuki, finally managing to swallow her pride and asking what she's been wanting to ask, ever since she first lost against the whiskered blonde.
"What?" Naruto replied in confusion at the sudden question.
"How did you get so good?! And how are you able to block my attacks, even the ones you can't see?!" Satsuki asked quickly, wanting to get some answers before she changed her mind, with Naruto blinking in surprise before shaking head.
"I…um…I don't really know. I just felt myself get stronger one day and feel my Chakra Reserves growing, and suddenly feel…better I guess. As for dodging those attacks, I can just…feel or sense when you're going to attack and I either get out of the way or block them." Replied Naruto, since he didn't really understand how he's improved either.
"You just…sense my attacks?" Questioned Satsuki with a frown, not understanding how he could do that, while Naruto simply nodded.
"Yeah, I'm actually able to sense a lot of things around me, people, animals, Chakra, sometimes even the plants around me. It gets even better when I'm completely still and meditate." Naruto said, having learned more about his sensing abilities, while also learning that they improved when he's not moving.
And while Naruto would normally hate something like meditating, much less sitting still for any period of time, his curiosity also helped him get through it. With Satsuki frowning at this, still confused at how he was able to do all that.
"Would…would you…maybe…be able to…to…help me train?" Satsuki said, struggling to ask for help, not wanting to admit she wanted Naruto's help in her training and seeing if he could teach her to sense things like he can.
The Uzumaki being surprised at her asking for his help with her training, before smirking.
"You're asking me for help? Does that mean you're admitting that I'm better than you?" Said Naruto, though inwardly wondered if this would be able to help him with his own training, making Satsuki scowl in annoyance.
"I'm not admitting anything! I just thought you'd like a training partner, who could help you! But I guess you're doing just fine alone! We'll see who needs help after the next match!" Satsuki retorted as she turned to leave, making Naruto's eyes widen.
"Wait!" Naruto said, running up to her while getting the ravenette to stop and look at him with narrowed eyes.
"I'm…sorry. I was…I was actually wondering if…you might be able to…help…with my…training…too." Said Naruto, not wanting to actually ask for help, but knew he needed to, with Satsuki looking at him in surprise before smirking.
"Now who's asking for help? Finally admitting I'm better than you?" Satsuki said tauntingly, with the Uzumaki scowling in annoyance at her for using his own words against him.
"You asked first!" Naruto said, with Satsuki glaring at him.
"And you tried making fun of me for asking!" Satsuki retorted, the two now glaring at each other heatedly.
"And you did the same thing!" Retorted Naruto.
The two glared at each for a few moments before looking away and crossing their arms, with stubborn looks on their faces.
"…F-fine…I can help you train." Naruto muttered after a few moments, with Satsuki glancing at him before looking away.
"…I…guess I could help you too." Replied Satsuki before they both turned towards each other and slowly shook hands.
Both kids then returned to the training ground to begin their training together.
*Timeskip-Four Months*
It's been four months since Naruto and Satsuki began training together, with Naruto helping Satsuki improve her sensing abilities and reaction time. While Satsuki helped Naruto improve his Taijutsu and overall abilities. Both of them also helped point out the mistakes the other was making and how to further improve themselves, as well as pushing each other to grow stronger. The two now fully seeing each other as rivals and refusing to fall behind or lose to the other.
But before long, Naruto and Satsuki soon started to spend time together outside of training. Neither of them realizing how much closer they've gotten, still acting like nothing has changed and only seeing each other as rivals. Though neither of them could deny they were actually starting to have…fun training and spending time together. With how Naruto was treated and isolated by the rest of the village and Satsuki being seen either as Itachi's little sister or the daughter of the Uchiha Clan Head. It felt nice for them to now have someone that now only saw them as themselves.
Which had lead Naruto to going to the Uchiha Compound after waiting for Satsuki to show up at the training ground, only for the ravenette to not show up. After waiting a few hours, he had decided to go to the Uchiha Compound to see if something happened. Only to be refused entry by the guards, but rather than simply leaving, Naruto sat outside the compound to wait and see if Satsuki would come out.
'Maybe I should just go back to the training ground.' Naruto thought before letting out a sigh, having already been waiting an hour for Satsuki who still hasn't shown up yet.
Standing up, Naruto went to return to the training ground only to suddenly be pushed to the ground, making the Uzumaki look up and saw three older Uchiha children standing over him with glares on their faces.
"What do you think you're doing here, loser?!" Demanded one of the children, with Naruto glaring at as he stood up.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I was waiting for Satsuki so we could train. But I was just leaving." Naruto said, moving to walk past them only to be shoved against a wall by one of them.
"Then beat it and don't even think about coming back here again! And stay away from Satsuki too!" The second child said, the other two nodding in agreement.
"You aren't even worth Fugaku-sama's daughter time, let alone anyone else's from the Uchiha Clan. And we won't let an outcast and weakling insult the clan by spending time with Satsuki either. So do yourself a favor and stay away from her and the compound, freak!" The lead kid said, with Naruto flinching slightly at their words.
Though suddenly the three kids cried out when they were hit in the head by rocks, looking to see Satsuki was the one who threw them and didn't look happy.
"Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Demanded Satsuki, having just exited the compound only to see the three kids cornering Naruto, along with catching part of what they said.
"Satsuki, we were just-" Said the lead kid, only to flinch along with the other two when threw a kunai at their feet while glaring at them.
"I don't care what you were doing! What you're going to do though is get out of here or else! Got it?!" Satsuki said glaring at them, with the three instantly nodding before running from the angry ravenette.
Watching them run with narrowed eyes, Satsuki turned towards Naruto once they were out of sight.
"Sorry about that and for not showing up for training today." Said Satsuki, having gone to train with Itachi, something that she couldn't do often with how busy he's been with his duties in Anbu, even more so recently.
"I-it's fine, I was a-ac-actually coming to tell you I-I can't train today s-since I had…something to do! Bye!" Naruto said quickly before running before Satsuki could say anything, leaving the Uchiha look at him in confusion.
*Timeskip-One Day*
The next day, Naruto sat on the swing outside the Academy with a downcast expression, having been avoiding Satsuki the entire day and didn't even go to their usual training ground after the Academy got out. Having simply been sitting on the swing the entire day, unable to help but think about the Uchiha children said yesterday.
That him spending time with Satsuki would only bring problems on her and her clan, given how the rest of the villagers treated him. It made Naruto start thinking they'd start treating Satsuki the same way, ignoring her, whispering behind her back, and seeing her as something that didn't belong. The whiskered blonde believing it would be best if he just stopped spending time with Satsuki.
'Maybe it would be better if I was alone.' Naruto thought sadly, wondering if it'd be easier if he didn't try spending time with anyone, so they wouldn't have to worry about being hated and isolated by the villagers.
"What're you doing?" Said Satsuki, pulling Naruto out of his thoughts as he looked up in surprise to see the Uchiha standing in front of him with her arms crossed.
"Satsuki?" Naruto said in confusion, not expecting her to still be here or to come find him.
"Well? What are you doing here? I thought we were going to train today." Satsuki said with a raised brow, making the Uzumaki shift uncomfortable on the swing.
"I just…wasn't feeling…good…and didn't want to…train." Naruto replied lamely, with the ravenette looking at him unconvincingly before narrowing her eyes.
"Is that about what those losers said yesterday?" Said Satsuki, knowing she was right when she saw him flinch slightly.
The sight made Satsuki scoff before she grabbed Naruto's hand and pulled him off the swing, much to his surprise as he could only walked beside Satsuki or be dragged along with her. Naruto having no idea what Satsuki was doing as they walked through the village, getting more than a few looks. Though what surprised him even more was when he spotted the Uchiha children from yesterday. Thinking they were going to try something again, only to be surprised when they instantly ducked their heads down and quickly walked passed him.
It wasn't long before they arrived at their training ground, with Satsuki finally letting Naruto go and looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Let me get one thing through that thick skull of yours, I don't care what anyone thinks about me or who I spend time with. If I want to spend time with you then I will, whether it's training or not, and no one is going to stop me, including you! So don't think you can just avoid me, otherwise I'll be knocking some sense into you!" Said Satsuki, with Naruto looking at her with wide eyes.
"You-" Naruto said, only to be silenced when Satsuki covered his mouth with her hand.
"And second, forget what those losers said, they aren't worth your time. I also talked with my parents and brother yesterday about what happened, and Kaa-san really wasn't happy about what happened. She went and talked to their parents, so we definitely don't have to worry about them trying anything again." Satsuki said with a smirk, knowing her mother can be pretty scary when she wants to be.
And the other kids definitely won't try anything against Naruto now, knowing that the Uchiha Clan's Matriarch is backing him. Which she was a little confused by, but was glad for her mother's help.
"You…you did that? Why?" Naruto asked in surprise, not believing she'd go that far for him.
"Yeah, I did, and because we're friends." Stated Satsuki, which only further surprised Naruto.
"We're…friends?" Naruto asked, with the ravenette nodding in response.
"Yes, we are. I think you're the most annoying, stubborn person I've ever met, you constantly taunt me, you have no patience nor do you think things through, and I honestly want to scream most of time when I'm around you. But…you also treat me like anyone else, not as an Uchiha, the Clan Heads daughter or the prodigy's little sister. To you, I'm just Satsuki and…I like that. I like spending time with you Naruto and that we're friends." Satsuki said, smiling at the whiskered blonde who could only look at her in shock.
"I…I actually like spending time with you too, Satsuki. I used to think you were pretty stuck-up and thought you were better than everyone else, but I also thought you were really strong and that made me want to beat you to show everyone I could be strong too. Then we began training together and then spending time together, I was happy to hang out with you since I've…never really had a friend. I just…wasn't sure if you wanted to be friends, but even if you didn't, I was still happy we could spend time together." Replied Naruto as he soon began smiling as well.
"Well we are friends and nothing is going to change that." Stated Satsuki before she made the Seal of Confrontation, surprising Naruto before he made it as well.
But rather than attack, Satsuki held her hand out, with Naruto doing the same as they locked their fingers together, smiling at each other as they solidified their friendship.
*Timeskip-One Year*
A year has passed since Naruto's and Satsuki's friendship was solidified, with the two now eight-year-old children having grown closer since then. Spending more time together as well as training even harder and pushing each other to grow stronger.
But recently, Naruto has noticed something strange happening to him, with it being whenever he's near any kind of plant-life, they seemed to become more…lively. Something that confused Naruto, wondering what caused the sudden change in them whenever he was around. Leading to him experimenting with his apparent new ability to see what exactly he could do with it.
At the moment, Naruto and Satsuki were at their usual training ground, with Naruto practicing with his new ability and Satsuki working on her Shurikenjutsu. Neither of them noticing how late it was getting with how much focus they were putting on their training.
"Satsuki! Satsuki, come look at this!" Naruto said excitedly, pulling Satsuki from her target practice as she went over to the Uzumaki.
"What is it?" Satsuki asked, only to see Naruto holding a few seeds in his hands.
"Watch this!" Naruto said before crouching down and put the seeds on the ground, the ravenette crouched down beside him with an intrigued expression.
Only for it to change to one of shock and amazement when Naruto put his hands on the ground, channeling Chakra into it and the seeds. Both kids watching in amazement as the seeds began growing before their eyes.
"Did…did you just…" Satsuki said in amazement at what Naruto just did, knowing that only one other person had ever been capable of controlling plants like that.
"I can control plants and make them grow! I've also been getting better at sensing plants and what they're like! It's like the Shodaime's Mokuton!" Naruto said in excitement that he has an ability like the Shodaime Hokage's Mokuton.
"Naruto…I think that you actually do have the Mokuton. No one else has ever been capable of controlling plants like that before, except him. You could actually have the Mokuton!" Satsuki said in amazement before smiling at her friend, happy that he could have a Kekkei Genkai that only the Shodaime Hokage ever had.
Only for her to notice just how late it was, surprised to see that the sun had already gone down before standing up along with Naruto.
"Come on, we can talk to my parents about this! I'm sure they'll be able to help you, if you have the Mokuton!" Said Satsuki, given how her clan were once rivals with the Senju Clan, especially with Madara Uchiha's and Hashirama Senju's rivalry, they may have notes on the Mokuton from when the Shodaime used it. Which would definitely help Naruto learn to use it.
With Naruto smiling in thanks at the chance to learn how to use the Mokuton, before the two exited the training ground and made their way to the Uchiha Compound. Both of them unaware that someone had been watching them before vanishing in a burst of speed with a Shunshin.
*Later*
Naruto and Satsuki arrived at the Uchiha Compound, only to find it completely empty, something that confused and unnerved both children.
"Uh, Satsuki? Is this place usually this empty at night?" Naruto asked warily as they walked through the compound, with the ravenette slowly shaking her head.
"N-no, it's never like this and everyone couldn't be asleep already. Something must be happening." Replied Satsuki, walking a little faster to get home, nervous at how empty the compound is.
But the moment they turned a corner, Naruto and Satsuki were shocked and horrified when they saw bodies lining the streets, with blood splattered everywhere.
"Wh-what? Wh-wh-what h-ha-h-happened he-h-he-he-here?" Satsuki stuttered, looking around in horror at seeing her clansmen lying dead on the ground.
"I-is…i-i-is th-th-this a-a-an-an a-at-at-att-attack o-o-on th-th-the vi-vi-vi-vill-village?" Naruto asked shakily at seeing so many dead bodies, before Satsuki's eyes widened in fear as she took off running towards her home to see if her parents were still alive.
With Naruto following after Satsuki, not wanting anything to happen to her either in case whoever did this was still around. The two rushed to Satsuki's home, running inside to find any trace of her parents, only to find nothing. Something that only increased Satsuki's fear.
"Over here…there are no traps. Come inside."
The sudden voice filled Satsuki with relief at hearing her father, making her instantly run towards where it came from, with Naruto following after her. But just before they could enter the room where Satsuki's parents were, both children froze when they heard another voice and what was being said.
"Tou-san."
'Itachi? Did he see what happened?' Thought Satsuki, relieved that her brother was also here, that her family was still alive and would hopefully know what happened.
"I don't want a death match with my own son." Said Fugaku, with Satsuki freezing at his words.
'A…death match…with Itachi? What…what does that mean?' Satsuki thought, her fear returning at what her father meant by that.
With Naruto looking at her in worry and motioned if they should go inside, only for the ravenette to shake her head rapidly and motion him to be quiet. With Satsuki wanting to know what was going on and what her parents and brother were talking about.
"I see. So you've aligned with the other side." Fugaku stated in a resigned tone.
"…Tou-san, Kaa-san…I just…" Said Itachi, sounding like he wasn't sure what to say anymore.
"We already know, Itachi." Mikoto said to her son reassuringly, while Satsuki's breathing grew heavier at the way they were talking.
"Itachi, just promise me this, that you'll take care of Satsuki." Said Fugaku.
'Take care of me?! What does that mean?! What's happening?! Did…did Itachi…is he the one that…that killed everyone?!' Satsuki thought in horror, not wanting to believe that her brother was the one responsible all those deaths.
"I will." Itachi replied shakily.
"Do not fear it, this is the path you have chosen, compared to yours, our pain will be over in an instant." Fugaku said, with Satsuki grabbing her head tightly with tears in her eyes.
'No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!' Satsuki mentally screamed, not wanting to believe this was actually happening.
"Our philosophies may differ, but I'm still proud of you. You are truly a kind child." Said Fugaku, with Naruto and Satsuki hearing the sound of someone crying in the room as he spoke.
"NO!" Screamed Satsuki, running into the room with Naruto, wanting to stop what was about to happen, just in time to see Itachi raise his sword and about to bring it down on their parents.
The twos appearance making Itachi, Fugaku, and Mikoto look at them in shock, not expecting Satsuki to get home already or for Naruto to be with her. But before any of them could do anything, several Anbu burst through the walls and windows, surrounding all five of them. With Itachi recognizing them as ROOT Anbu, all while recognizing one in particular as Sugaru, something that enraged him at the sight.
"What's the meaning of this?! Danzō and I had a deal!" Said Itachi, angered that Danzō was breaking their deal and still sent his ROOT Anbu to attack.
"The deal has been voided with the revelation that the experiments that were performed on the weapon have proven to be a success. Now all Uchiha shall be eliminated." Sugaru stated blankly, which shocked the group at what experiment he was talking about, while only Itachi, Fugaku and Mikoto knew he meant Naruto.
"What did you do to Naruto?!" Demanded Mikoto, angered and worried about whatever Danzō did to Naruto, making the Uzumaki look at her with wide eyes that they were talking about him.
"Danzō-sama had Orochimaru experiment on the weapon to recreate the Shodaime's Mokuton. With the proof the experiment was a success, the deal with Danzō-sama is now void." Said Sugaru, seeing no reason to lie to people that were going to be dead in a few moments and one captured to be properly conditioned.
'I…I was experimented on? That's why I have the Mokuton?!' Naruto thought shaking at hearing he'd been experimented on and never even knew it.
"Now, you shall be terminated." Said Sugaru as the ROOT Anbu all rushed the Uchiha family and one Uzumaki.
Only for Itachi and Fugaku to jump in front of Naruto and Satsuki, with Itachi deflecting one of Anbu's tanto before slicing them deeply across the chest, before blocking another strike and looking them in the eye, trapping them in a Genjutsu before decapitating them. While Fugaku side-stepped another's strike, wrapping his arm around their neck before spinning around using them as a shield from another Anbu. With the first being stabbed in the chest before Fugaku kicked them into the second while pulling out several shuriken which he threw, cutting through the air and stabbing into the second Anbu's back.
"Mikoto! Get them out of here, now!" Fugaku said to his wife, wanting her to get the children out of here while he and Itachi dealt with the Anbu.
"Right! Come on Satsuki, Naruto!" Said Mikoto while picking up Satsuki and Naruto before running out of the house, with several Anbu rushing after them.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!" Itachi said, pulling out several shuriken and throwing them before going through handsigns and released Fire Chakra into them, increasing their power.
"Wind Style: Gale Palm!" Said Fugaku releasing a gale of wind at the shuriken, making them rush at high speeds and intensifying the flames as they sliced through the Anbu that went after Mikoto and the children.
The Clan Head then leaned to the side avoiding an Anbu that tried striking him from above, grabbing them by the wrist holding their tanto and snapped it. Grabbing the tanto out of the air, Fugaku looked the Anu in the eye before throwing him at three more. The Anbu landing on the ground before suddenly pulling out two kunai and stabbed them into his allies throats before losing his head when the third Anbu decapitated him.
"Fire Style: Fire Spear!" Fugaku said, channeling Fire Chakra into the tanto before thrusting it at the remaining Anbu, unleashing a spear of flames that shot towards the Anbu and impaled them before they could dodge it.
Meanwhile Itachi was surrounded by several Anbu that all charged him at once, only for the Uchiha to burst into a flock of crows and surrounded the Anbu, which began pecking and clawing at them. Jumping out of the flock of crows, the Anbu found the crows following after them forcing them to attack the crows to escape. Only for the crows to burst into black flames the moment they were killed, the flames hitting the Anbu and began burning despite their efforts to put the flames out.
With Itachi reforming from the crows and began cutting the Anbu down as they were burning, until he turned towards the sound of insects flying towards him from Sugaru.
"Amaterasu!" Itachi said as his right eye began bleeding while the insects were incinerated by black flames before unleashing the flames on Sugaru.
The Aburame ROOT member quickly moved out of the way to avoid being hit by the flames, only to suddenly find himself surrounded by crows with Itachi charging at him. Swinging his sword at the Uchiha caused him to burst into crows and appear to his left. Sending his insects at Itachi, Sugaru saw him burst into even more crows. With this repeating for several moments as each time Sugaru struck Itachi, he burst into more crows, until soon Sugaru couldn't see anything but black feathers.
Until suddenly a hand wrapped around his throat and lifted him into the air as Itachi's emerged from the massive flock of crows.
"Tsukuyomi!" Itachi said while looking Sugaru right in the eye.
*Tsukuyomi World*
Sugaru looked around wildly at seeing everything was now black and white with a blood red sky, before he saw Itachi appear in front of him. Charging at the Uchiha, Sugaru fell to ground as he suddenly felt his body become paralyzed.
"This is Tsukuyomi, one of the most powerful Genjutsu in the world and here I am god. And as revenge for what you and Danzō had done to Shisui, expect the next sixty-two hours to be your own personal hell." Said Itachi, just as Sugaru screamed in pain when he felt his insects suddenly start devouring his body from the inside out.
Only to then feel his throat be slashed open as Sugaru felt terror grow within him at seeing his father in front of him, before he was suddenly surrounded by dozens of copies of him. With Sugaru being helpless as he felt his throat heal only to be slashed open again before healing again.
His screams of pain soon turning into gurgles of agony as his throat was constantly healed before being slashed open all, while his insects continued devouring his body. Even worse as he felt the more they devoured the more his body simply healed.
It continued for hours, days, even weeks Sugaru didn't know anymore, only that he screaming in his mind for the pain to end, pleading, begging for it to stop and for Itachi to just kill him. Until miraculously, it stopped as the copies of his father vanished and his insects stopped devouring his body, while Itachi reappeared.
But his next words caused Sugaru's terror to return a hundredfold.
"Sixty-one hours, fifty-nine minutes, and fifty-nine seconds left." Itachi stated, much to Sugaru's horror that only a second had passed during all that before he suddenly started choking as he felt water began filling his lungs.
"Time to see how you feel after losing your eyes and drowning to death." Said Itachi as he reached out and ripped Sugaru's right eye out, followed by his left one, before they reappeared to be ripped out again.
*Real World*
Dropping Sugaru's braindead body, Itachi made a handsign as all his crows transformed into dozens of shuriken that went flying all around him. Tearing through multiple ROOT Anbu that had been waiting for him to appear, with some managing to avoid the shuriken and rush Itachi.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Release Song Jutsu!" Fugaku said, releasing several mini fireballs shaped like dragon heads that began moving around erratically towards the Anbu.
"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu!" Said Itachi, releasing several fireballs at the Anbu as well, while throwing shuriken hidden within the fire.
With the Anbu being unable to dodge all the fireballs, while those that did dodge were cut down by Itachi and Fugaku as they were left open from their focus being on the fireballs. Looking around at seeing there were still a few dozen Anbu left, Fugaku looked at Itachi
"Itachi, I'll deal with them, you get to the clan library and get what you can then find your mother and the children!" Said Fugaku, with Itachi nodding in response before jumping across the rooftops to the Uchiha Clan's Library, with several Anbu chasing after him.
Only to be stopped when Fugaku appeared in front of them from seemingly nowhere before he revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan, much to the Anbu's surprise. Before they found themselves no longer in control of their bodies and turning to attack their allies. Some of the Anbu tried escaping the fighting to go after Itachi or Mikoto and the kids, only for more Fugaku to appear out of nowhere and put them under his control.
"None of you even realized, you were dead the moment you chose to fight me. But now you'll see firsthand how I was able to walk away from so many battles without a scratch, my enemies were too busy killing each other." Said Fugaku with his Sharingan glowing ominously as he showed them why he's known as Wicked Eye Fugaku.
"And now for part two." Fugaku stated as he held up his hand, creating small Chakra Flames on each of his fingers.
"Uchiha Flame Formation!" Said Fugaku slamming his hand on the ground, creating a red cylindrical barrier of flames that rose up around the Anbu, with any that tried getting through the barrier bursting into flames the moment they made contact.
Fugaku then clenched his fist causing the barrier to begin shrinking around the Anbu, forcing them to move closer to the center, which also made them easier targets for his controlled Anbu to kill them. Until soon the barrier closed in on the Anbu, reducing all of them to ash.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Sphere!"
The Clan Heads eyes widened before he quickly jumped out of the way of a compressed sphere of air that blasted through the rooftop he'd been standing on. With Fugaku narrowing his eyes at seeing Danzō, clenching his fist at seeing the Sharingan in his right eye and the pale white arm filled with ten Sharingan and possessed a face on the shoulder.
"Danzō, finally showing yourself to be the parasite you are, leeching off of the power of others." Fugaku said, angered at seeing all the Sharingan the Warhawk has stolen from his clan.
"The only parasites are you Uchiha, always seeking more and more power rather than being grateful for what you have. Your cursed clan is a disease that has infected Konoha since its founding. A disease I will finally cut away. Wind Style: Vacuum Serial Waves!" Said Danzō, moving his head around and unleashing several wind blades at different angles at Fugaku.
"Fire Style: Hiding in Fire Jutsu!" Fugaku said, surrounding himself in flames, with the wind blades slicing through the flames, only for Fugaku to have vanished.
Reappearing behind Danzō with a tanto in hand, Fugaku stabbed the blade at the Warhawk, who quickly turned and blocked the strike with kunai.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Blade!" Danzō said, breathing Wind Chakra onto the kunai increasing its length and sharpness, allowing him to slice right through Fugaku's tanto and into the Uchiha's chest.
Only for "Fugaku" to suddenly explode and send Danzō flying off the rooftop, before he gagged as he was impaled on a Fire Spear that shot up from the ground, with Fugaku emerging soon after. With the Uchiha narrowing his eyes when he saw Danzō's body suddenly vanish before he quickly jumped out of the way of several wind blades from above, seeing Danzō reappear above him.
"Fire Style: Blast Wave Wild Dance!" Said Fugaku, unleashing a large amount of flames that surrounded Danzō in a vortex.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Great Sphere!" Danzō said, inhaling deeply before exhaling a massive sphere of crushing Wind Chakra, managing to get a small opening in the flames to get through, while grunting when he was still burned by the flames.
With Fugaku being there waiting for him with another tanto covered in Fire Chakra, swinging it to unleash a wave of flames at Danzō, who had no chance to escape and incinerated by the flames. Only for his charred body to once again vanish as the Warhawk appeared again, fully healed. Charging at Fugaku while throwing several shuriken at him.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Blade!" Said Danzō, enhancing the shuriken with Wind Chakra, increasing their speed as they rushed towards Fugaku.
The Uchiha bending back to avoid the shuriken, before grunting and jumping out of the way as one managed to slice him across the shoulder, before going through handsigns.
"Fire Style: Running Fire!" Fugaku said, forming a ring of fire around Danzō before going through another set of handsigns.
"Wind Style: Divine Wind!" Said Fugaku, creating several mini tornadoes that hit the flames, instantly turning it into a massive flaming hurricane around Danzō.
"Fire Style: Ash Pile Burning!" Said Fugaku, releasing a large cloud of Chakra-infused gunpowder that exploded the moment it made contact with the flames
Though not a moment later, Fugaku jumped out of the way of several wind blades that were launched at him from Danzō, the Clan Head narrowing his eyes at seeing three of the Sharingan on his arm were now closed.
"So you are using Izanagi. Not only a parasite, but a cowardly one at that, needing to steal an Uchiha Kinjutsu to save your own life." Fugaku said, having suspected that he was using Izanagi, but now knew for certain that he was using it.
"Izanagi belongs to Konoha! All Jutsu of the clans here belong to Konoha, the only thieves are you Uchiha! Believing you can take Konoha for yourselves!" Retorted Danzō, leaping at Fugaku with a wind-enhanced kunai.
With Fugaku ducking under the strike before getting behind Danzō and grabbing the elder.
"Fire Style: Hiding in Ash Jutsu!" Said Fugaku releasing a large cloud of Chakra-infused ash that began burning Danzō the moment it made contact with him.
Gritting his teeth, Danzō twirled his kunai around and stabbed Fugaku, with it forcing the Uchiha to release him before the ash could further burn him.
"Wind Style: Vacuum Sphere!" Danzō said, inhaling before unleashing several small blasts of Wind Chakra at Fugaku.
"Fire Style: Great Blaze Ball!" Fugaku said, unleashing a gigantic towards fireball at Danzō, with the fireball breaking the ground apart as it went towards the elder.
With the wind blasts only increasing its size and power, leaving Danzō no chance to escape as he was incinerated before he used Izanagi again to escape. The Warhawk appearing behind Fugaku with a wind-enhanced kunai which he thrusted towards the Uchiha. Only for Fugaku to burst into flames the moment it made contact, with Fugaku reappearing to Danzō's left with a fire-enhanced tanto.
The two blades clashing against each other before Fugaku managed to lock eyes with Danzō with his right Sharingan turning pure white as Danzō suddenly froze, standing completely still.
"You should have done better research, then you would have learned that Izanagi is only one half of two Kinjutsu." Stated Fugaku, having sacrificed his Sharingan to cast Izanami on Danzō, leaving him trapped in an endless loop of everything that happened after losing his third Sharingan.
Which now left him helpless as Fugaku drove his blade into Danzō's heart, pleased to know that the Warhawk is finally dead. Only for his eyes to widen when he saw a seal forming on Danzō's chest, recognizing it as a Reverse Four Symbols Seal. Cursing, Fugaku tried jumping back to avoid getting caught in the seal, only to be too late as a black sphere formed around Danzō's body before he felt himself being pulled in.
'At least they're safe.' Fugaku thought, glad that he knew his family would be safe and not have to worry about Danzō anymore, before crying out as he was pulled in and sealed within Danzō's corpse.
*With Naruto, Satsuki, and Mikoto*
Meanwhile, Mikoto jumped through the trees while carrying Naruto in her arms and Satsuki holding onto her back. Though they could hear ROOT Anbu were chasing after them still, a few having managed to escape from Itachi and Fugaku to pursue them.
"Just leave me and get away!" Said Naruto, knowing they were after him because of the Mokuton and didn't want anything to happen to Satsuki and her mother.
"NO!" Satsuki and Mikoto said at the same time, neither of them having any intentions to leave Naruto.
"Why not?! They're after me because of whatever experiment they did worked to give me the Mokuton! They'll go after me so you two can get away!" Naruto said, attempting to get out of Mikoto's arms, only for the woman to tighten her grip.
"You idiot! I already told you if you tried avoiding me again, I'd knock some sense into you! And don't think I still won't try it!" Said Satsuki threateningly, refusing to let him sacrifice himself just so they could escape.
"And I'm not about to let that bastard Danzō get his hands on my godson!" Mikoto said, making Naruto and Satsuki look at her in shock.
"Godson?!" Said Naruto and Satsuki in shock and disbelief, not expecting her to say that.
"Yes, I'm you're godmother Naruto, your mother Kushina Uzumaki was my best friend before she died. And I would have gladly taken you in, but I was forbidden by the Hokage, Danzō and the Elders." Mikoto replied sadly, shocking them further at hearing this.
'I…could have had Naruto as a brother?' Thought Satsuki, not believing she could have had Naruto as her brother, growing up.
'The old man…he knew? He knew my parents, that I had a godmother…and he kept her from adopting me?!' Naruto thought, feeling betrayed and angry that the Hokage forbid Mikoto from taking him in.
"I promise I'll tell you everything once we've gotten away, for now just hold on and-" Mikoto said, only for her eyes to widen before she quickly grabbed Naruto and Satsuki, jumping down low and throwing them on the ground.
The two children grunting as they rolled across the ground, before looking up in fear at seeing the Anbu had caught up. With Mikoto grabbing hold of a branch, spinning around it to slam her foot into one of the Anbu's chest, knocking them to the ground where she landed on them, taking their weapons.
Just in time to block several shuriken thrown at her, before responding with her own, throwing them in wide arcs through the trees and coming around behind the Anbu. Who all turned and blocked them, with Mikoto rushing them, managing to stab her tanto through ones neck, taking their tanto as well. Before she blocked a strike from a second Anbu, headbutting them and slashed them across the chest and kicked them into a third, who died from the woman throwing a tanto, burying it in their skull.
Though Mikoto cursed when she saw some of the Anbu had rushed past her towards Naruto and Satsuki.
"Lightning Style: Electric Shock Needle!" Said Mikoto, going through some handsigns as several needles made of lightning appeared and were launched towards the Anbu, stabbing through them while some were able to dodge out of the way.
Leaping at the Anbu that avoided her needles, Mikoto decapitated one of them before blocking another's downward slash. Only to grunt in pain when one got behind her and stabbed her in the back, the Uchiha managing to move to avoid a fatal strike. Before she threw her elbow back slamming it into the Anbu's face, followed by wrapping her arm around their neck and flipping them over her shoulder. Slamming the Anbu into the one in front of her, Mikoto stabbed the tanto through them both.
Only to see the Anbu were still targeting Naruto and Satsuki, making Mikoto rush them and get in front of the children, deflecting several kunai and shuriken they threw. With the matriarch quickly picking them up and throwing them back at the Anbu.
"Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Said Mikoto, going through handsigns, turning the few shuriken into dozens of copies before going through handsigns again.
"Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" Mikoto said, releasing a stream of electricity at the shuriken, enhancing them further with lightning.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Said four of the Anbu, all of them unleashing powerful blasts of air that dispelled the lightning as well as sending all of the shuriken rushing straight back towards Mikoto.
The sight making the woman's eyes widen before she quickly turned and grabbed Naruto and Satsuki, throwing them behind a tree so they wouldn't get hit. Before Mikoto gasped in pain as blood dripped down from her mouth as several shuriken stabbed into her body, much to Naruto's and Satsuki's horror.
"KAA-SAN!" Satsuki screamed in horror, unable to do anything as her mother fell to the ground, unmoving.
The little girl falling her to knees with tears streaming down her face before she could only scream in horror, pain, anger, sadness and hatred at seeing her mother die. Not noticing as her eyes turned crimson red with a single tomoe in each eye.
"Eliminate the girl and secure the Jinchūriki." Said of the Anbu, with the remaining ones nodding before they rushed towards Naruto and Satsuki, all of them drawing their swords to kill the ravenette, the sight making Naruto's eyes widen in fear.
"NO!" Shouted Naruto, getting in front of Satsuki, refusing to let them kill his friend after they just killed his godmother he just learned he had, only to lose her immediately after.
With the Anbu not stopping in their attack, only for the ground to start rumbling before massive roots burst out of the ground. The sight of the roots shocking the Anbu, leaving them open as the roots shot forward and impale several of them.
"Restrain the Jinchūriki now!" Said the lead Anbu, with only a few succeeding in avoiding the roots.
Only for a kusarigama to shoot out from the trees, wrapping around one of the Anbu's necks and breaking it, followed by the attacker appearing behind another Anbu burying a sword in their chest. With the Anbu immediately turning their attention towards their attacker, only for all their attacks to seemingly phase through them. None of them able to react as the man rushed around and cut them down with his sword, until soon all the Anbu were dead.
With Naruto and Satsuki looking at them with wide eyes, seeing he had shaggy black hair that fell past his shoulders, along with wearing an orange mask with black flames and a single eyehole. With him wearing traditional dark blue Uchiha robes over a black bodysuit, black gloves, and black Ninja sandals.
Before the children flinched when the Masked Man appeared in front of them, their eyes widening at seeing he had the Sharingan.
"If he wasn't already dead, I'd thank Danzō for giving me the opportunity to reclaim you, Kyūbi." Said the Masked Man before grabbing Naruto by his collar, pleased at the chance to capture the Kyūbi Jinchūriki as well as deal with the Uchiha Clan.
"What the hell are you talking about?! Let me go you bastard!" Naruto shouted, trying to attack the Masked Man, only to gasp in pain when he buried his fist in his stomach.
"Feisty, aren't you, just like your parents." The Masked Man said, narrowing his eyes at Naruto, who looked at him with wide eyes.
"Let him go!" Said Satsuki while glaring at the Masked Man before rushing him, only for her to be grabbed by her collar as well.
"And I suppose it never hurts to have a few more spare eyes." Said the Masked Man before Naruto and Satsuki found themselves being sucked into a swirling vortex, originating from his right eye.
Though without warning, a large, glowing, fiery red sword shot through the Masked Mans back and out his chest, causing his eyes to widen in shock and pain. Losing his grip on Naruto and Satsuki as they fell to the ground, the Masked Man turned only to be shocked to see Itachi surrounded by a red ribcage with a skeletal arm holding a sake jar.
"It seems everyone is breaking their deals, tonight." Itachi stated, angered that "Madara" was going to try and take Satsuki and Naruto, but also seeing a chance to kill him while he was distracted.
"I-It-Itachi…th-this…S-Sw-Sword of T-To-Totsuka…d-da-da-damn y-yo-yo-you!" Said "Madara", realizing what this sword was and what'll happen just as he felt himself being pulled into the sake jar, forever trapping him in a "world of drunken dreams".
"Consider our deal null and void." Said Itachi before narrowing his eyes and looking to his right, before having his Susanoo swing its blade, cutting down multiple trees, revealing a plant-like creatures looking at him with wide eyes.
With it quickly sinking into the ground, only to not be fast enough as Itachi slashed and sealed the creature into the gourd as well. Just in time as Itachi panted tiredly from the strain of using his Susanoo, on top of using Amaterasu a few times as well as the Tsukuyomi, as it faded away. Though Itachi then saw Satsuki and Naruto beside Mikoto's body, making the Uchiha flinch as his sister cried over their mother with Naruto having his own tears at losing his godmother after just meeting her.
Going over to them, Itachi knelt down beside them, reaching out to put a hand on his sisters back, only to pause and pull back.
"I…I'm sorry Satsuki…I didn't want it to happen like this. And I'm sorry you had to go through this as well Naruto, that both of you had to go through this. I didn't want this to happen." Said Itachi, lowering his head, while Satsuki looked at him with tear-filled eyes.
"For what to happen?! For us to see you about to kill Tou-san and Kaa-san?! To see Kaa-san be killed while protecting us?! What didn't you mean to happen Itachi?!" Satsuki demanded, looking at her brother like she never even knew him, the ravenette not even sure what she knew anymore.
With Itachi flinching at her words, knowing she had every right to be angry and wasn't sure how he was supposed to tell them the truth. Doubting they'd believe anything else he said unless it was the complete truth, no matter how much he didn't want to tell them why he did what he did.
"It's…there's a lot neither of you know, I swear I will tell you what happened and why I did what I did. But right now, we need to go, it's not safe in Konoha anymore." Said Itachi as he sealed away his mother's body, knowing he couldn't bring them back to Konoha nor could he join "Madara's" organization to find out their goals.
"Where are we supposed to go?" Questioned Naruto, standing close to Satsuki who wiped away her tears and looked at Itachi, also wanting to know what they were supposed to do.
"Far from the Elemental Nations." Itachi replied before motioning the two follow him as the three ran through the forest.
*Uchiha Compound*
Back at the Uchiha Compound, the Sandaime Hokage had just arrived with several Anbu, only to see the state the compound was in from the fighting. To see the dead ROOT Anbu bodies while spotting Danzō's body as well, causing realization and rage to hit Hiruzen. His anger only growing at seeing Danzō's arm and the Sharingan embedded in it, as well the Shodaime's face on the shoulder.
'Was it worth it, Danzō? Was all your scheming and plotting worth it? To cause all of this?!' Thought Sarutobi, glaring at his body in disgust, knowing if he wasn't already dead he'd kill him, himself.
"Damnit. All of you spread out and search for survivors! And ensure the deceased are properly disposed of!" Sarutobi ordered, with the Anbu nodding before they began moving around to see if anyone was still alive, while making sure the deceased were disposed of to protect their secrets.
With the Sandaime only able to sigh in exhaustion before sitting down and covering his face, the Anbu looking at their leader in sympathy before they continued their search.
*Timeskip-Two Weeks*
*Amegakure*
"Still no word from Madara or Zetsu?" Questioned Pein, looking out over Amegakure while Konan stood behind him.
"None. I've searched every inch of the Land of Rain, as well as his base between the Land of Canyons and the Land of Sound. I also sent some butterflies to Konoha and Kirigakure, but still found no sign of him in or around the villages. The same with Zetsu, they're both simply gone." Konan replied, finding no trace of where "Madara" or Zetsu were, with Pein frowning at this.
"…Then it would seem both of them are truly dead." Pein stated, aware that this will change things, but took solace that he's now the true leader of the Akatsuki rather than a figurehead, a sentiment that Konan shared.
"Indeed. What will we do now? Continue with the plan to capture the Jinchūriki?" Konan asked, wondering if they'll continue the plan to create the super weapon.
"We will see how things unfold for the time being. In the meantime, we will maintain our cover as a mercenary group to gather funds as well as finding recruits." Said Pein, wanting to wait and see how things unfold first, before making any decisions on what their plans going forward will be.
*With Naruto, Satsuki, and Itachi*
Meanwhile, Naruto, Satsuki and Itachi, all wearing hooded cloaks to hide their faces, were in a port town within the Land of Tea.
"Where exactly are we going?" Satsuki asked since so far all Itachi's said is they'd be going far from the Elemental Nations.
"To a different continent, somewhere that no one in the Elemental Nations will be able to find us." Replied Itachi, knowing that by the time anyone realizes that they've left and where they were going, it'd be impossible to locate them.
"A different continent? There are other continents?" Questioned Naruto, having not learned about different continents, with Satsuki also being confused.
"Yes, there are six in total. The Shinobi Continent which consists of the Elemental Nations, the Shijin Continent to the west of us, the Yukiguni Continent to the north, the Temujin and Teikokutoji Continents to the east, as well as the Yami Continent to the south. I don't know much about them, having never felt the need to learn more about them since I never expected to leave the Elemental Nations." Itachi said, much to their surprise.
"And we really need to go that far away from the Elemental Nations?" Satsuki asked, with the older Uchiha nodding.
"Yes, as very soon the Elemental Nations are going to become very dangerous." Said Itachi, having no doubt that the nations will soon be at each other's throats.
Especially since he sent out numerous Crow Clones to several nations and villages, before arranging their departure, exposing Konoha's secrets to their enemies and all unallied Nations. Something he originally intended to use as a threat against Danzō to stay away from Satsuki, knowing he couldn't be trusted after he became a Missing-Nin. But with what the warhawk did, Itachi went through with his threat. Mostly out of spite, even if Danzō's already dead, after what he just did while also forcing him to tell Naruto and Satsuki the truth of the Uchiha Massacre.
Though he hated himself for potentially starting another war that will get hundreds of innocent people killed, Itachi was also far past the point of caring after everything that's happened.
It wasn't long before they were able to board their ship which soon set sail away from town, the trio looking out across the ocean, not knowing what would await them.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see a familiar start of Naruto being captured by Danzō and given to Orochimaru to be experimented on, but while Naruto is infused with Hashirama's DNA, he's also infused with Jūgo's as well, though it seems the experiment was a failure with Naruto showing no signs of having the Mokuton, leading to him being dropped back in the village not knowing what was done to him. Then we see several timeskips as Naruto meets Satsuki and beats her in a spar leading to a rivalry forming between them, until they become training partners and eventually friends as they push each other to grow stronger. Before we get another timeskip to the night of the massacre, with Naruto now showing signs of awakening the Mokuton, leading him and Satsuki to return to the Uchiha Compound to tell her parents and see if they have any notes on the Mokuton, only to arrive to see everyone dead before going to Satsuki's home just before Itachi could kill their parents, overhearing what they said, running before Itachi could kill them. Only for ROOT Anbu to appear to capture Naruto and deal with all the Uchiha, with Itachi and Fugaku fighting them off while Mikoto escapes with Naruto and Satsuki, before Fugaku has Itachi go while he deals with the remaining Anbu until Danzō arrives leading to a fight between them, with Fugaku coming out the winner after catching Danzō in Izanami, only to be caught in Danzō's Suicide Seal. Meanwhile Mikoto is escaping with Naruto and Satsuki, while telling them she's Naruto's godmother and why she couldn't take him in, only for them to be attack by more Anbu, leading to Mikoto's death given how long it's been since she trained or went on missions, plus having to protect Naruto and Satsuki, with Satsuki awakening her Sharingan and Naruto fully unlocking the Mokuton killing most of the Anbu, with Obito arriving and killing the rest. With him then attempting to capture Naruto and Satsuki, only to be stabbed in the back with the Sword of Totsuka and sealed away, with Zetsu following soon after, before Itachi takes Naruto and Satsuki away from Konoha knowing they can't stay there. Then getting a look at the Hokage and Anbu arriving at the Uchiha Compound, putting together what happened and cursing Danzō for what he's done. Finally we get another timeskip showing Pein and Konan realizing "Madara" and Zetsu are dead and begin planning their next moves, while we see Naruto, Satsuki, and Itachi planning to leave the Elemental Nations for the other continents, knowing it's the only place they'll be safe.
Also quick sidenote, due to "NarutoData Wikia" not having much information on the other continents, some liberties will be taken with them and how they're depicted. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story.
