Battle of the Heroes
What seemed like a rerun of war of the worlds was only the beginning
As the giants collided in mid air, the entire planet shook with fear
The water turns and forms a massive wave of horror
Those who inhabited the once peaceful planet were now the target
The hunters who once thought they were alone
Now have a bigger problem to take care of
In all honesty they shall not survive
For even if a few people are left, there will be not enough to clean up
And the storm is just beginning to show the eye
Looking down on us with a 20/20 vision
Nothing will miss its target
Even those hiding underground will be sought out
Yes it is a horrifying epic
But where there are villains…there are heroes…
Only a matter of time separates the arrival
Even if they are late, they will get rid of such fiends.
For over my dead body, so help me god
That one day my spirit will grow to be the same size as the giants
I shall make myself noticed big or small
Some say I have the potential to be an excellent swordsman
Certainly nothing shall stand in my way…
The clouds of destruction have yet to lift off our once green land
Water has turned into blood from lost souls
Each day people wheel in new stacks of bones
We are running out of room
Casualties will never be replaced
Sometimes I wonder how valuable this planet is to them
What is it they're really after…resources…or the unspeakable?
Money doesn't mean shit no more, for there's nothing to spend on
The language they speak will never be deciphered
They form groups and stack up one upon another
Behind all of them is a monster waiting to be let loose
And once it happens all will vanish into air
Leaving no trace that humans ever existed
And robots will rule the galaxy
Is that all you can do?
