"Uno!" a young girl yells in excitement after placing down a red 5.
The young girl was beaming with excitement in her seat as she looked at her opponent.
"Hmmm," The young man muttered while rubbing his chin, "You got me there, but it's not over yet."
The man placed one blue 5. The girl backed up as soon as he deposited his card. A few moments passed as they stared at each other, then the young girl began to draw cards from the deck with shame. After seven cards, she finally came up with one. She smiled at her card and raised her card. As she was preparing to put it down, the speaker ignited to life.
"Blitz Sato and Marisa Illustrious Makinami, report to the front deck of the ship."
Mari stopped right in her tracks, and both she and Blitz gently placed their cards down onto the small table. Blitz then gathered up the cards, shuffled them into one deck, and put them into his pocket. The pair then jumped down from their chairs and walked towards the deck.
As the duo walked into the deck, the captain clicked a button on the cockpit and took off his headphones.
"So what did you need, cap?" Blitz asked.
"We have an emergency by the Over the Rainbow," the captain answered, "3 angels are attacking the fleet holding the Second child, and she needs your help."
Both Mari and Blitz looked at each other and smiled. This was their moment to shine. They'll steal the show and show the world what the Evas are true-
"Are you two even listening?!" the captain yelled, snapping them back into reality.
"Yeah yeah we got all of that," Blitz answered, "Beat up the angels and save the second and third, mhmm will do.". And the two ran out deck and into the mass storage compartment.
Captain Suzahara looked at them leave and muttered, "Those two are going to get themselves killed one day"
"So are you ready?" Blitz asked Mari
Mari thought for a second and responded with, "As ready as I'll ever be!"
"That's the spirit!" Blitz yelled, "Now how about we do something special for this fight."
"What should we do?" the pilot asked.
"We sing."
"Well, that's a good one. But what would we sing?"
"How about Not alone?"
"Nah, it doesn't fit."
"March of the true path?"
The pilot thought about that question for a few seconds and joked, "How about 365-step March?"
"Yeah, that one sounds cool," Blitz says wholeheartedly, agreeing with the teen. "I'll start us off."
The Giant door in the room containing Evangelion Unit 05 opens and Blitz sings while jumping onto the Eva's shoulder.

"Time to save the day,"
"Time to make it snappy,"
"But you know first you gotta get out of bed,"
"Hello mister sunshine,"
"Today you're gonna be fine,"
"Pinky swear there's going to be sunny skies ahead,"

The PA flares to life and Captain Suzahara shouts, "We're here, now jump out before I throw you out myself!"
05's wheels start rolling towards the door at a high speed. Right before they get to the end the Eva jumps into the sky and a free fall. Blitz jumps off and starts diving straight down.
As he dives down Blitz shouts through his earpiece, "A 3v1 isn't all that fair, so let's even the odds!"
As they dived down, the image of a giant red humanoid on a boat surrounded by three monsters, one was a skeletal horse head with a fishbone body and millipede-like legs (codenamed Samael). Another was a plague mask head with a ticking stick, two slender legs, and a gigantic red orb attached to it (codenamed Michael). The final angel was currently hidden in the water.
The clock angel spun its head 180 degrees and the Giant jumped forward towards the horse skill Angel, grabbing it. The monster retaliated by charging forward. Micheal's eyes flashed and a pillar of ice came out of the water, skewering the boat the red Eva was just on. Unit 02 was then slammed into the pillar by Samael. The Eva regained its composure, took its grip off the angel with its right hand, drew its progressive knife out, and stabbed the angel in its bony neck. The monster recoiled and Unit 02 pushed it off. It then stabbed the ice pillar so it wouldn't sink into the water. Unfortunately, the Gaghiel, the last angel, thought this was the best time to strike and jumped out of the water. Its body was tan, almost pale, it had 2 fins and a tail that looked like manta ray fins, and most importantly its mouth opened to show shark teeth all around it. Everyone looked in horror as Unit 02 was about to be swallowed whole by a being twice its size.

Meanwhile, Blitz flipped into feet-first dive and put his hands together above his head. As he was coming down he yelled, "How about you back off!" and brought his hands down onto Gaghiel. Both Blitz and the commander were sent sinking into the water.
Mari, on the other hand, uses the jetpack on the back of her Evangelion to slow her descent down. She flips the Eva right-side-up and lifts the gun lance for Micheal's head. The Angel notices and starts shooting icicles at her. The giant responds by blocking with her other arm, stabbing it in the process
"Dammit!" The girl yells in pain, "If it's a fight you want then it's a fight you'll get!"
Unit 05 takes its injured arm and twists the gun lance on its other arm. It then pops off of the other arm, revealing another hand. The Eva puts both of its hands around the lance and throws it the clock Angel's orb, stabbing then uses its jet to rocket itself into the lance and puts one pair of wheels out. Micheal tries to protect itself by putting up barriers of ice but Unit 05 easily breaks through them at rocket speeds. The giant crashes into the spear and goes straight through the red orb, revealing a smaller orb from inside. The core explodes into blood and Unit 05 splats down onto a ship, powering down.
"That was too easy," Mari Says in relief, "But I'm not complaining.". The fourth child stretches out and relaxes in her seat
Song - Unit 02, Neon Genesis Evangelion
"The son of a bitch won't stay still that's what's taking me so long," The Second child yelled
Unit 02 tried lunging for Samael but it dodged and struck unit 02 in the back, which landed on another ship.
"Why don't you try predicting where it goes?" The Third child suggested. "Then we could use the progressive knife and get its core,"
"I-I-I," The Second stammered, "I thought of that third,"
"Because you weren't putting in any ideas, just doing in your idea" The Third sassed
"Just be quiet third!" The Second exclaimed
She started to concentrate on where the angel would go next, until…...
"THERE!" Unit 02 jumped into the air where Samael was going next and grabbed on it with one hand. It pulled out its progressive knife with its other hand and stabbed it right into the core and flipped off of it onto a ship.
"That makes two, what's taking him so long?" The Second asked.
Song-Molgera, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
"I'm almost done!" Blitz tried to say through his earpiece but all that came out was, "Boajbjoeahtoah!"
The Angel had swallowed him and was making their way towards Tokyo-3. Blitz knew why so he thought up a plan. He put his hands out and slowly a sword came out of his chest, he grabbed the hilt and stabbed the top of the monstrous Angel's mouth. Now that he had control he steered the angel into the closest ship, the Over The Rainbow.
Now that they were near He dragged his sword through its mouth while swimming, making Gaghiel roar in pain. Blitz then swam upwards onto the deck of the Rainbow and ran towards the middle.
"Alright let's tango Jaws," He taunted while cracking his knuckles
The Angel responded by jumping directly onto the front of the ship, rocking it. The angel then opened its mouth, revealing its core.
"Well at least you're making this easy for me," Blitz taunted, "Now, let's finish this."
He pulls out his blade once again and starts walking towards Gaghiel with killing intent. Each step brought him closer and closer to ending this battle. Once he was close enough he readied himself to jump into the angel's mouth. But before he could even bend his knees, he stopped in his tracks and put his hand up. For what felt like an hour, everyone sat in silence, because nobody knew what was going to happen next. Except for Blitz.
Suddenly, the angel's mouth started glowing red. Then a gigantic beam of energy shot out of it, engulfing Blitz and half of the rainbow. Everyone looked on as the beam slowly crawled further and further onto the deck until it almost made it to the command center. Before it could consume the entirety of the ship, the blast was suddenly moved back to the front of the angel. Everyone watched in astonishment as they saw the red blast immediately dissipate into Blitz's hand and disappear into thin air.
He looked at the gigantic shark in amazement and commented, "Well shit you surprised me." Blitz then grinned and yelled, "But now it's my turn!"
Blitz took his sword and held it backward in his hand. He then sliced at the air multiple times until he was satisfied with his work. After that, the sword disappeared out of his hand and multiple cuts appeared around Gaghiel's body. It then burst into small cubes that flew into the air and rained down.
"Dinner is served," Blitz joked, "Tonight, we'll be having sushi."
Song-Barefoot In The Park, Neon Genesis Evangelion
As Blitz, Mari, the second child, and the third child walked in they were all having individual thoughts but had one thing they could agree on.
"A shower would be great right now," Blitz dreamt of in his mind
As He walked in a straight line, barely able to see because of the sea salt in his eyes, he tripped over something and fell face-first into the ground. He looked around to see what he fell on to see what he had tripped over to find a kid rubbing their head.
"Hey watch where you're going!" Blitz hissed
"How about you watch where you're going asshole!" Toji barked back, "You're an adult, you should know better!"
"Oh, I'll give this punk some manners," Blitz thought as he was getting up.
Just as the two were about to throw down, Mari sputtered, "Blitz, stop before you get yourself hurt."
This made Toji turn his head towards the group of pilots. Then inspected Blitz and bowed his head.
"I'm so sorry for that" Suzahara apologized, "I didn't know who you were at first"
Blitz just stared at the boy and said, "Look, it's ok, it was my fault too," He turned to face the other end of the hallway and started walking again.
/Huh, weird kid. Wonder who he was though/ Blitz wondered in his head
By the time the pilots got to the dining hall they were dry, but also stunk of LCL. Everyone sat down in a chair one after another.
"Ugh, where is she?" He growled, "She was supposed to be here 4 minutes ago"
All the pilots looked at him and asked, "You mean Misato? She's always late."
"Wait, you know M-Misato?" Mari Asked the third child while stuttering.
"Yeah, she's been my guardian ever since I became an Eva pilot." the third child answered.
Mari then put out her hand and said, "M-My Name is M-Marisa illustrious Makinami the seventh, but everyone just calls me Mari."
The third child took her hand, shook it, and responded with, "I'm Shinji Ikari."
Behind her, Blitz smiled a little. He then turns his attention towards the second child and asked, "So how's the suite life been treating you Asuka?"
"Well, it was great until that damn angel came and ruined everything!" Asuka swore, "Now Mr. Kaji is gone and I'm left with you idiots until we dock"
Everyone was having a great time. Shinji and Mari talked about their common interest while Asuka and Blitz caught up with each other on what's happened over the past couple of weeks. After about ten minutes, a purple-haired woman walked in along with Toji and Kensuke.
"Oh, now you showed up," Blitz remarked, "I promise Misato you would be late to your wedding given the chance."
"Hey, I'm not that late, am I?" Misato asked.
Blitz rolled his eyes and answered with, "It's been 14 minutes since you should have been here."
"Well, sometimes it can't be helped," She said while blowing off Blitz's comment, "Now some new introductions are in or-"
"We will arrive in Tokyo-3 shortly, Everyone on board please prepare for docking" The PA blared.
Blitz looked at the Ravenette and declared, "We'll do it when we get off."
Well, this is a surprise, I uploaded in less than a month, A NEW RECORD EVERYONE. Ok so I'm doing something special, I'm remaking chapters 1-4. It won't take long and chapter 6 will come out along with the chapter 2 remake so don't worry.
NEXT EPISODE OF ICEBREAKERS. Everyone arrives in Tokyo-3 and Blitz goes to meet the 1st child. But before the gang can get comfortable an angel attacks. Can they defeat it, will someone die, and will we ever get the 3.0+1.0 OST on Spotify? Probably not but tune in next time for another episode of ICEBREAKERS. And there's going to be lots of fan service.
